In a nutshell, V Burger bar is better than Flipside burgers but probably not as good as Grilld but definitely still worth a visit! Pleasantly surprised with the scrumptious and creative burger menu along with a number of sides and salad options — haloumi chips, chicken bites, sweet potato chips or onion rings anyone? The burgers are a very generous size — great value for money and jam packed with fresh produce. The man got himself the«Full Blooded Aussie» — picture a big meat patty with egg, bacon, beetroot and onion rings — messy to eat but looked damn tasty! I opted for the haloumi salad with chicken added to the mix — a great buy at $ 14. The haloumi and grilled chicken were a perfect combo accompanied by a zesty lime and coriander dressing! The restaurant itself had ample seating and some little quirks around the place to keep you entertained!

Despite it being around a while, I hadn’t been to V burger before. It’s set in the little shopping centre in a fairly quiet spot(mind you we went on a Sunday). Full glass windows meant you got the natural light while enjoying the cool of the air conditioning. Being there before midday, it was still quiet when we arrived. I ordered the Americano and added bacon to it. The patty was tasty and of a good size, coming in a delicious bun that was perfectly toasted with just a little char. As mentioned, I had added crispy bacon and boy was it crispy, perfect! Lots of pickles, cheese melted perfectly. I enjoyed the tomato relish. The lettuce was ok, but not my preferred type(those small leaf ones), but that is just a preference thing. I tried the onion rings which were good(they came with my mates burger which was HUGE!) probably had a little too much batter than I think ideal. The deep fried haloumi with chilli relish was awesome! The vanilla milkshake was great. Perfect level of malt, better than ribs and burgers(which is saying something because a lot of mates have gone on about the ribs and burgers milkshake). As mentioned, my mate order a burger which was giant and no way you could eat it normally. A friendly staff member came over and gave a few tips on the best way to eat it. Overall a pleasant experience with great staff and delicious food

I like the atmosphere of Floreat’s V Burger better than the Vic Park one due to the huge glass windows that brings in the light easily. They have plenty of outdoor and indoor seating which will be perfect for group or family dining. This outlet offers a range of healthy juice that aren’t available at V Burger Victoria Park and we decided to try the Living Green juice. The staff gave us the wrong order but he quickly rectified and apologised, as well as offered us free refill of our juice! We all love the onion rings, FBA and the vegetarian guacaloumi burger. However, no burger offered can steal the spotlight of pulled pork burger(the piggyback!)

If you’ve never tried brioche before you’re missing out. The french style pastry is more commonly seen in desserts, but when paired with a complimentary savoury dish it can be absolutely delicious! The brioche range features three new combinations — the Americana, Space Mushroom and Piggy Back. Since pulled pork has become so big in the past couple of years I can’t go past it on any menu. It is my mission to learn the art of pulling pork in the near future — watch this space. The Piggy Back was absolutely amazing. The off the bone pulled pork rib was juicy, tender and had a gorgeous sweet favour. Paired with fresh coleslaw, a crisp onion ring, house BBQ sauce, jalapeño and aioli the combination was brilliant from first bite to the final mouthful. It was certainly not your regular, run of the mill burger. I think I’ve become a convert to brioche — the light and airy bun was much less dense and filling than a regular roll and I wasn’t overly full after finishing my meal.

Love the chips. But they’ve become stingy with the chips. Smaller and smaller portions everytime. Not worth coming anymore. Also I can see the staff eating away at the chips that shouldve been in my bag! Obviously keeping it for themselves as I was the first one to order the chips that day.

A recommended lunch time indulgence! This place has a great range of gourmet burgers. I have started with the classic and will certainly be back to try all the others. I didn’t try any sides but was salivating at another’s onion rings during a food envy moment whilst waiting for my burger to come out. The burgers are obviously appreciated by many as there was only one table available to sit at.
