Their location is a huge plus. Anyone who gets off at the south end of Town Hall would have seen the long lines here. When I worked around the area, this is my go-to place for my morning coffee fix. You can order either from the left or the right counter and the assigned barrista would give you your coffee. Efficient staff, strong coffee and great breakfast options too.

I wasn’t able to find another café I found on the Unilocal app, so I went here, mainly out of desparation for coffee. It was a bit too milky for my liking, and a little too hot. The staff were friendly, which is nice. Vegemite toast was perfect too.

Good coffee. Unfortunately not good enough for me to stop going to Pablo and Rusty. But still good coffee. The people working there are extremely friendly. And the food is good — only had a treat so I can’t comment on the sandwiches. But my friends live for them.

Was a HUGE fan of Two Black Sheep when working this side of the CBD. Until… the coffee became a little too weak for my liking. I hate both very strong and very weak coffees — needs to be right the balance. Unfortunately, there were 2 or 3(see — I did give them a few chances!!) hot, skim lattes that just did not do the trick and I had to move on… Four stars because I do have fond memories of how delicious their coffee once was(and may be again because it’s been quite a few months since I last went)!

I read a review recently from Bilal of a pub. He just wrote«Good» Thats it, just. «Good». I’ve always thought brevity to be the soul of wit so I added Bilal as a friend and nominated him for Elite.(Still waiting committee members) Then I thought maybe I could go one better — Two Black Sheep is a great coffee place so I thought it would be a good subject for Unilocal’s shortest review — a single tick. Didn’t work, you have to write something. Bloody rules. Hate ‘em.

Skip the Gloria Jeans and the Starbucks and just go to Two Black Sheep. Because life shouldn’t be wasted drinking bad coffee.

Two Black Sheep has been my coffee destination for close to two years during which they have been constant brewers of coffee, toasters of bread and superb customer service providers. I’m not a coffee monogamist– I’ve been known to change my coffee order from the occasional skim latte, long black, soy cappuccinos and even the less frequent California special(decaf, soy cappuccino no chocolate). This gives me I think a bit of knowledge and authority to say that Two Black Sheep coffee is consistently roasted well, crema is silky and hot and chocolate is always generously sprinkled. Already winners of several best of Sydney awards these kiwi brothers have put their hearts into their business with extreme attention to detail and an emphasis on quality. 10 Reasons Why 2 Black Sheep Rock Town Hall: Customer coffee cards with cute sheep to rack up coffee credits Amazing coffee beans and coffee done the way you want it. extra hot -«no worries», super weak–«totally and without judgment», triple shot it -«we understand» Great customer service with happy barista ninjas that are extremely fast It’s the place to be and be seen on a Monday morning Two dualling espresso machines on the go Brasserie bread for hearty toast in the morning Adam and Dave have authentic kiwi accents Eco & socially conscious vibe and attitude Sheep t-shirts 3.5 words: cheese & tomato toasties!

Very good coffee, and even better service. Two registers and two machines on the go so the service is super fast for commuters leaving Town Hall Station on their way out to George St. It’s hidden away in a subterranean space under a food court near Town Hall Station, but worth the search. If you work in the area like I do it is definitely worth investing in a coffee card — you’ll be back. Plus, 12 coffees for the price of 10 and no need to carry cash on your coffee run! Cute cups. Excellent coffee. Fast service. Winner.

You really could not ask for a better location for a café. Situated near the southern exit of Town Hall station this place gets an amazing amount of through traffic. Not only that, a massive amount of people(judging by the cue) stop by to grab a quick coffee to get their day started. Quick, happy, professional service is what it seems to be about here. The vibe of the place is youthful vigour with a mix of startup energy. With multiple machines going, this café is really able to put out an amazing quantity of coffee really quickly. As for the quality of the coffee, the crema on my mac was great. Not too much milk, not burnt, and not watery or over espressed… but… while everything else was pointing to a really awesome coffee, the flavour lack a robustness that I was expecting. It could be that my palate was effected by a nice strong cup of coffee made with the Golden Cobra earlier in the morning, but what ever it was, the coffee missed … something. That said, I think this café is awesome at what they do. Getting the level of awesome service that thy give, and the speed counts for a heck of a lot when people are in a rush to get to and from work. Perhaps next time I go back the coffee will be different(though I did notice an option for a single origin coffee…). They have also just announced they are open from 9 – 1530 on Saturdays, which can really be handy if in the area.
