Food options on the beach in Surfers are expensive, for sure, but not if you get take-​away. Since there are tons of benches and shelters (from the wind) everywhere, we just got meals to go from Omeros and walked down to the beach to enjoy the view.
We had a fish burger and chips and a spaghetti Bolognese (spelled «Bolognaise» on the sign, but I guess they’re not an Italian restaurant after all). It’s hard to mess up a fish burger, I’ll admit, but it’s also hard to make it great, and this one was great. Battered fish — not a patty, but big chunks of fish, fresh ingredients, good quality bread. The spaghetti wasn’t bad, either. All this for $ 26.80.
The beach is beautiful. Just watch out for seagulls.

2 of 3 staff were welcoming, professional, efficient, helpful & fun. The latter I wasn’t expecting & wasn’t in the mood for, but they so professional & genuine they lifted my mood such that I enjoyed the menu even more.
Had the tasty & filling local seafood chowder.
