Atmosphere — when we first drove by looking for parking, it was so dark we thought it was closed. I later read that it used to be a strip club which explains why it seemed dark and discreet. This isn’t off putting but people might not even notice it because of that. The décor was nice and the booths were cute. It wasn’t very busy so it was not noisy making it easy to talk. Quality of food — partner had a soft shell crab burger which once we noticed a picture of what it looked like he thought about cancelling and getting a regular beef burger. Luckily he didn’t as it was very good. I had the OG burger and it was also good. The Nutella milkshake was very good and I highly recommend. Partner had a chocolate milk shake was ok but tasted like vanilla with chocolate fudge rather than a true chocolate. Go for the Nutella. Value — burgers come with a small side of seasoned chips and aioli making this decent value. I also saw a student special for $ 15 so if you’re a student save some more $$. Service — no issues.

In a sea of Asian cuisine cultural commons stands out with a decent variety of burgers and pizzas. Perfectly medium patties combined with the salads you would have added at home on a brioche bun sprinkled with sesame seeds. Beer batter chips cooked to the right amount of crunch are served with aioli that tastes like it has a hint of mustard to it. A cocktail menu would take it to 5 stars

Pleasant change in a burb not known for burgers. The place has a great vibe-garage feel. Burgers are enormous and can be messy especially if going for the Mac senior or daddy. Chips were crunchy and very addictive. Eat these first otherwise u may find that by the time u finish ur humongous burger that the chips aren’t as crunchy anymore. But they’re still darn good. Took my niece and nephew here and they were in awe when their burgers were served. We ordered the mac jnr, mac snr and the American Dream. All were great. The melted cheese was spot on and the patties were cooked to medium perfection with some crispy bits. We loved the crispy bits. All were on a light brioche bun. By the time we got to the end of the burgers we almost had to take a breather from the eating. WIR? yep!

Hidden in amongst dumplings, noodles, fried rice and Phở is an amazing little gem with a big burger menu Tasty real beef patties on toasted brioche buns with topping to suit any burger connoisseur. All served with amazing fries and aioli. Well worth the trouble to find a parking spot.

This place is absolutely fantastic! Easily the best burgers in Melbourne. Next years burger list better have this as an inclusion, otherwise it’s massively rigged. The service is outstanding, the options are endless, even the non burger dishes are supreme. A must do for everyone!

Quite the experimental option in the midst of the ‘Asian cultural’ experience of Springvale. Cultural Commons is offering the idea of Grill’d crossed with Macca’s Create décor and at reasonable prices. The burgers are varied, the chips crisp and hot, plus the added appeal of a Nutella milkshake, Cultural Commons does something that is NOT common in the Springvale area.
