Grind Espresso Bar

Tucked away beneath ground level, Grind always strikes me as an excellent, semi-​covert meeting place. You feel like you could meet up with someone very clandestinely here. Sometimes I like to sit and read in the back corner, using a red rose as a bookmark, sending a signal to Soviet defectors that I am their contact here in the West. Actually, it’s a signal to everyone else that I’m out of my tree, but still.
Grind’s real draw, at least for me, is its wireless service. Where a number of coffee shops about the place block this and that website, or don’t have internet access at all, Grind has no such stipulations. Both the coffee and they food are serviceable and the staff are very friendly. I’d sooner come to Grind than to many of the other coffee shops in the general vicinity as a result.
