Pancake parlours are hard to find but this one stands the test of time. Perfect atmosphere & a huge range of choices makes this place stand tall above all others. Pancakes for lunch is admittedly indulgent but this is place turns them into savoury alternatives that easily replace a Mexican or Italian meal. Prices aren’t ridiculous but higher than average. Staff are courteous & the cleanliness is average.

After about 5 minutes the waitress returned to take our orders, it was a little rushed but considering it was mid-week and during common lunch hours I we did not mind as we had places to be. The food like the ordering did not take long either; with what seemed like barely another 5 minutes we had our pancakes in front of us. I ordered the Bavarian Apple Pancakes, which contained ‘hot cinnamon spiced apples and sultanas with two buttermilk pancakes topped with cream, vanilla icecream and dusted with cinnamon sugar’($ 14.90) along with an Iced Chocolate($ 4.90). I quite enjoyed the pancakes but soon realised that their size was deceptive as they were quite filling and found myself unable to finish my serve, as my eyes had been hungrier than my stomach was. I enjoyed the pancakes, they were fluffy and cooked just right and the apple and cinnamon flavouring is a favourite of mine so it did not disappoint. Overall I enjoyed Pancakes at Carillon and think it would make for the perfect stop or start for weekend shopping in the city. Pancakes at Carillon is located on the top floor of the Carillon City Arcade next to the ABC Shop.

This pancakes restaurant has been here for many years… My mum used to bring me here when I was a little girl and now I take my son lol… Unfortunately the original owners have recently sold the business and in my opinion isn’t as good as it used to be previously. Today was my second time back here since the new owners have taken over… My favorite used to be the strawberry patch, but now the pancakes are much smaller and much less strawberry syrup, in fact there was barely any strawberry syrup :(I noticed that the pancakes we also crumbly too. Sadly I can’t say they are the best pancakes in Perth now :(but we also ordered the BLT burger which was rather yummy! I’m just sad it’s not the same I’ve always known it to be. Gotta say the staff aren’t as friendly and welcoming as well. Just a different vibe both times since previous owners have gone

I went back to pancakes at carillon unwillingly and with low expectations. I had the devil’s delight which was good. The strawberries were fresh and there were plenty. The cakes was moist and warm. I would definitely get this chocoholic pancake again. The«maple-flavored» syrup was potent sugar syrup. Which honestly will ruin your pancake. I would rather eat it with cream, butter or ice cream before putting syrup on it. But to each his own! Much better experience than my first time but still a mediocre pancake house.

After living in Melbourne for 12 months, I had become quite content with my Sunday morning pancakes, thankfully, I came across this place! Can never go past a fried banana on a puffy pancake

My favourite all day pancakes eats! The honey pancake today melted in my mouth. I inhaled half of it before anyone else even got started & it wasn’t just the ice cream, cream & honey that made it amazing. I’ve never progressed beyond the sweet section over the last decade

I went here recently for a mid morning meal. Offering breakfast and lunch at this time of the day is great. A very wide selection of sweet and savoury pancakes and crepes as well as other foods. Drinks menu was adequate and had all the usual suspects you would expect on a drinks menu to accompany both breakfast and diner. Décor is simple, diner like and a bit aged. Food was affordable and tasty. Portion size was adequate and relative to the price. Presentation of food was lacking but for the prices, presentation wasn’t going to be the main selling point. Though food was still presented on a clean plate. Service was satisfactory, nothing too fancy. Food didn’t take too long to come out which is always a plus. All in all, a good cheap eat for pancakes in the city.

This place is as good as a food place can get! Great food, friendly people and reasonable prices! I would definitely recommend it to anyone. My partner and I have been going to this place since 2010, and have never been disappointed.

We had breakfast here the first day we arrived in Perth. The prices are reasonable and there’s a good selection of sweet and savory items. The pancakes were delicious and the servings were plenty. The only con is that there seemed to be only one cook in the open kitchen, so it too a while for our orders to come out.

Let’s face it, pancakes are delicious. And a restaurant devoted to pancakes is destined for awesomeness! The location(top floor of Carrilon arcade in the city) is nothing special, but I was too busy concentrating on my pancakes to care much about that. The menu is pretty extensive. They have a heap of breakfast options(available until 11:30am) plus the option of all day breakfast pancakes(which come with bacon and egg). I very nearly went with these, but decided at the last minute to try something sweet. After some deliberation, I ordered the ‘blueberry heaven’ pancakes, which were amazing! Two fluffy buttermilk pancakes with cream, ice cream, blueberries and blueberry sauce. Yum! There are bottles of maple flavoured syrup on every table, too. I had a flat white with my pancakes, which was nice and hot, but not the best brew in town. The service was pretty quick, though, and the staff were friendly. Only complaint would be that the tables are a little close together, so you kinda feel like joining in the conversation of the people sitting next to you!

While it is nice to have access to breakfast and especially pancakes outside of normal breakfast hours, the cost of the food here(while perhaps normal to people from Perth) seems excessive and isn’t a bargain. I had the all day breakfast – one fried egg, bacon and 2 pancakes – along with(had to try them) a starter of nachos. Unfortunately, the nachos actually arrived after the breakfast instead of before it as I would have hoped. Service was a bit slowish. I had asked for the egg to be scrambled and they said they could not prepare the egg any other way than fried sunny side up. The nachos rather oddly came with the usual beef, chips, onions, cheese… and almonds?! I asked for the almonds to be left off the nachos and they could not accommodate this request either. I’m being generous in granting this place 3 stars. Their inability to cook my food to order and the mediocre quality of the food for the cost make this probably a one-time only visit.

Oh my goodness gracious sinful me! Being a huge Pancake and Waffle fan I was highly looking forward to discovering what all the hype was about this fantastic Pancake House and it’s Chefs was all about! Being seated at a great little booth set up with a fantastically huge bottle of Maple Syrup I was already reaching for my napkin to wipe the drawl away from mouth! I was in total ore and heavily Pancake blissful heaven reading over the fantastically wide range of options mean! You won’t know where to possibly start! They offer fantastic range of Milkshakes, Malted Shakes, Iced Coffees– Chocolate and Mocha, Refreshing Chillers, Juices, Soft Drinks, Iced Teas, Hot Coffee’s and much more to drink but I settled with the most deviant Banoffee Smoothie! Then on to the good! From their side orders, starters, breakfast, Grilled Burger section(Also offering Fish and Chips), Salad Selections, Savory Crepes then. Yes then! The delicious Desert Pancakes and Waffles! It’s endless and every single one just takes you by surprise you really won’t be able to choose! Picking the Eggs Benedict, I had never had anything like it! The eggs and entire dish cooked to utter perfection served on the most beautiful fluffy pancakes I was utterly amazed! I should be ashamed to admit such a food crime but I’m more than proud to own up to being a regular and as you can see by my photos I have added I have tried pretty much everything on the menu! =D This place is a must to try, and for frequent visitors their loyalty card is a must to tuck in to your purse! The chefs have a little background to them and why they have so many years in cooking pancakes! No wonder it’s pure pancake perfection!
