In the heart of Northbridge. Love the coffee here. I’d the healthy breakfast with a couple of changes, which the staff were happy to make. It was quiet when I was there which was nice. They have quite a selection of food items from counter items such as muffins, ready made sandwiches to a good sized order menu.

Milk & Honey is a convenient 5 minute walk from Perth station on James St in Northbridge. This sprawling café serves up all the usual dishes, as well as a good selection of ready made sandwiches and focaccias. Muffins, biscuits and slices can all also be purchased, with the selection varying daily. Milk & Honey has good tea and coffee selection and serves up one of the better long maccs that Perth has to offer. The BLT focaccia is a must try, very reasonable and tastes great, served on a lovely herby bread and toasted. More substantial options such as breakfast mueslis and pancakes are all winners. The burgers here are good and well priced. Milk & Honey serves up great comfort food and has delivered every time I’ve been here. Coffee is a great blend and the décor is cool and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Daily specials are available, and this place is great for kids and groups. The folding doors are almost always open and this place is a great spot to see Northbridge’s diverse clientele wander past. Bottom line: Milk & Honey won’t win any awards, but it certainly won’t let you down. A great addition to James St…

In need of my morning Coffee and Muffin fix, I came across this nicely presented Café with the delightful name of Milk and Honey so I was intastainly drawn in. I was plesently surpised by it’s simple, yet modern and rather spacious decore as I walked up to the front counter the arrangment of delicious muffins, cakes, slices, breads and selction of take away sandwiches all very tastey looking and hard to even know where to begin on choosing! Walking away with a slice of banana bread and muffin I was in heaven! The Banana bread was warmed up beautifully and beautifully baked! Very enjoyable. Then the muffin! I can definitely see why their muffins are a hit, and they always seem to have a great new mouth watering selection that changes to keep the variety going! The texture was to die for, nice and soft and full of yummy flavour! My second experience was just as enjoyable, but this time I dinned in for a delightful full Spanish Breakfast! The Spanish eggs cooked beautifully with tradtional spanish tomato topping, Chorizo, Rocket Lettace, Roma Tomatos, Bacon and 2 Slices of Toasted Bread with Butter! Of course followed by their warmed up Banana Bread and Milkshake, I left very satisfied once again. Sure they may not be over the top extravagent, but I have no complaints! Their food is always cooked wonderfully and the Muffins and Cakes are to die for! When it comes to the overal service of the staff however, I feel they could present themselves a little more inviting and friendly, the waitress seemd to give of a very un approachable and stuck up, almost judment vibe. The others also not the friendleast. A little bit of warmer welcoming does not go astray and this definitely bumps an otherwise happy experience and review down! I still recommend this spot to try! You won’t be entirley disappointed! The food is very enjoyable.

If I had ordered the eggs Benedict rather than the strawberry banana pancakes then this review would weigh in at 4 stars. Unfortunately, the pancakes were not the fluffy buttermilk variety I love and adore rather a spongy-crêpe style. The eggs Benedict on the other hand was amazing and the tomato was one if the freshest tomatoes in years. I must agree with the other reviews and state there is a lack of character to the place but the street traffic helps with charm(lots of backpackers walk past). The coupon in the entertainment guide is always appreciated.

I was pretty excited when I saw this place opening a while back. The menu is pretty broad, lots of breakfast and lunch options. However I feel the place lacks a bit of character in terms of fit out and food.

Place was very popular so thought we would give it a go. Unfortunately the omelette came out burnt the gluten free bread was very ordinary and prices seem very high. $ 50 for breakfast for 2 people seems a bit much.

The coffees and milkshakes are great, amazing in fact. The food is average and the surroundings are worse. Despite looking pretty nice inside the fact that just outside James street is full of sex shops and one of the worse sides of Northbridge. Surprisingly there were a few families here. I suppose in a way it is pretty child friendly despite its adult surroundings. I had one amazing milkshake but a poor roll to go with it, it tasted like the ones mum made me for school that had been left in the fridge over night and then been in my hot school bag all day. Not great.

I’ve had ace muffins and reasonable coffees here. I don’t mind it. I reckon you could find better coffee along William Street, but if this is in good proximity for you, go for it. The interiors are modern, but not so much in a finger-on-the-pulse way. And they do a bunch of preprepared rolls, quiches, croissants and other baked treats. It all looks fairly standard. If you’re after a freshly squeezed juice or smoothie, these guys do a good one. I can vouch for that.

Great for kids and they make good milkshakes here. We grabbed a roll and sandwich here, although the helping could be a bit bigger. You pay before you eat which makes it a bit sticky for a mum who’s dining alone with the kids but still, a kid friendly place and good menu to appease the little ones.

During the day, Northbridge can seem a little drab, but the gorgeous wallpaper, the hanging lights, the see through chairs, the friendly atmosphere, the delicious rolls and the mouth watering pancakes that make up Milk and Honey brings life to the area. Gahh, I adore it all — absolutely no complaints, Milk and Honey is certainly a winner!

I like this place because it’s raised the bar of what a venue in Northbridge can look like. Situated on the sleazier side of James Street, opposite the Whispers sex shop, Connections nightclub, and a couple of cheesy kebab outlets, you’ve got to wonder what the owners are doing here. But I’m glad they are here, and I hope it’s a sign of cleaner and more stylish things to come. The coffee here is good but I’ve not tried any of the food. Just about everything is pricey, particular for this area of town; but then I suppose someone’s got to pay for the gorgeous décor…

Milk and Honey has a smooth name and a smooth interior to match. Pleasant décor and staff make for a nice place to go and grab a coffee, though there’s nothing particularly exceptional about the food. Definitely one of the better places to grab a coffee in NB though!

Milk and Honey is a breakfast and lunch place, though my interest is mostly in its coffee.(I’m not that interested in paying airport prices for pre-made rolls and focaccias.) My double espresso was good – better than I had been led to believe it would be – though given there was so little liquid in the cup I would suggest that it was somewhat closer to being a single-and-a-half espresso. The place does not have the world’s best view – it looks out onto the sleazier side of James Street – but its interior is very pleasant indeed. The wallpaper pattern is the likeness of a bee. The banquettes are comfortable(certainly more comfortable than the plastic chairs) and the place is light and airy. The staff are a little rushed off their feet – and, depending on who you ask, a little off-putting at times as well, though being run off their feet might have something to do with it – but that just adds to the bubbly atmosphere of the place, at least on a bright summer’s day.
