Thoroughly enjoyable. Location food and service. Duck needs pimping but the churros are 2nd to none!

First time here before. Came for a late brekkie with friends, we got a table straight away even thought it was busy. Which was good cause breakfast was just about to end in 4 minutes. The waitress was very nice and made sure our orders got in straight away. There are great views of the beach if you sit outside. Perfect on a calm summers day. Inside perfect if it’s a thousand degrees outside or windy. We all ordered the eggs Benedict with asparagus. It was absolutely delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Price was reasonable even though there was a holiday surcharge.

Great view but as the other reviews have said the services leaves a lot to be desired, actually a lot may not be strong enough words. The service is shocking, and I would think that if not for the location this place would be bust. The food was pretty middle of the road and with the high prices and small portions, it was definitely not good value. This place has potential because it is in such a beautiful spot, but unless some serious changes are made I likely wont be back again.

I’ve been to Soda a couple of times with friends and went there yesterday for lunch. It never disappoints! The food is fresh and tasty at a reasonable price. It’s right on the beach so there is an amazing view from the café and it is a great little spot to hang out in summer. I got the tres tacos yesterday with fried fish, pulled pork and pollo chicken and they were all so good! Highly recommend for a catch up breakfast or lunch with friends

Okay been here before, great location and the food is good. Service is a little… weird. One of the waitresses seemed very preoccupied with something, didn’t wait for me to finish my order before walking off(I had to shout«and a latte!»). We ate our meal and when clearing the plates we weren’t offered more coffee or cake, the whole experience was just odd. I expected more from a well known place like this.

Great little Café’. They do delicious breakfast, dinners and my favourite deserts. You must try the Brownie with the Fairy Floss. Great location, right next to Trigg Pizza on West Coast Drive looking over the coastline. Very romantic. The Coffee here is well made, tasty and strong. The staff have great service, friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are in the higher range, but not completely unaffordable, unless you’re a poor student like me, in this case maybe go for the breakfast or Coffee & Cake option.

A lot of the cafes and restaurants along Perth’s beautiful coastline seem to think that having a great location with stunning ocean views is enought. It is not. The view will bring people once, but if you don’t follow through with great service and delicious food they won’t come back. Soda Café is one fo the few that seem to do both. In 2007 Soda Café won Best Café and well recognised magazine Gourmet Traveller rates it very highly. There is alfresco dining area right out the front, with great views of the ocean. However, it can get very windy out there, so I recommend you stay inside with the modern décor and comfortable furniture. The vibe is laidback and friendly. The staff friendly and efficient. The menu is an ecletic mix of french, moroccan and portuguese, which means there is something for everyone. The kids have their own menu, with all their favourites as well. It doesn’t matter which meal of the day you come here, you will get fresh and delicious food that will keep you satisfied and make you happy.

Soda Café is great place to catch up with friends for coffee, breakfast or afternoon tea. It has a great location overlooking the ocean at North Beach, which can be a little distracting of your conversation at times! They serve the typical kinds of breakfasts and of course at high prices, but it’s worth it and the coffee is also great! It’s always busy and bustling but there’s plenty of seating inside and outside. The service is nice and friendly and the café has great style. I just love the location and I find it is also great to continue your conversation and burning of 1⁄30th of your delicious meal by taking a walk along the cycle path running parallel to the ocean.

Before there was the Soda Sunlounge, there was the Soda Café. With its focus on coffee, it serves a rather different function to the lounge, and provides yet another excellent example of a place along West Coast Drive that is perfect for people-watching over caffeine. As at the lounge, the cost of breakfast is surprisingly high, though the food is nevertheless very good and you don’t feel too bad about paying it. I am not much of a cake person, but the café’s range is enough to make me turn, though the range in question is also very rich and you would be well-advised to take someone along to eat with you. This section of the coast, it goes without saying, is beautiful, and it’s very easy to while away a good section of the day merely sitting and watching it. Both Soda locations – the café and the lounge – provide a perfect opportunity to do this, and are two of the coast’s indispensible locations as a result.

The Soda Café has a beautiful location, facing the ocean at North Beach. There are two seating options — outside are tables with metal chairs and shielded by large umbrellas, while the inside features a few lounges amongst a slick, modern décor. For those who want to be protected by the elements, as it can be quite windy sometimes, inside is a comfortable option, but for those who want to fully enjoy the view, an outside table is a better option. The Soda Café is largely a coffee and cake establishment. The cakes are quite nice — for instance, the carrot cake is soft with a lovely sweet topping. The coffee is excellent — the cappuccino, for instances, is full-bodied with a good balance between coffee and cream, and a subtle hint of chocolate. The service is efficient and friendly, with the staff happy to exchange banter while serving you. The Soda Café is a good place to visit for an afternoon coffee and cake, while overlooking the ocean.
