I wasn’t expecting much but I was actually blown away by the taste and the prices. Better than your typical sushi train I liked that had different items like strawberry flavoured sushi, which was pretty good. Everything we tried was good and there is nothing negative to say about this place. a must try

Trust the reviews, Unilocalers tell it like it is. I was going to Enmore theatre and wanted dinner first. What’s quick? Sushi train I thought. So I searched for a place with good reviews and seek and thou shalt find. I was lucky that we had somewhere to be and went at 5:30 because by about 6pm there was a line up. The items were tasty. Best eggplant I’ve had in a while. I also like the chicken roll, miso soup and well the general goodness.

My favourite sushi spot in newtown! It’s $ 10.80 for 8 slices of sashimi King fish, salmon and tuna. The slices are so chunky and generous! On top of that the sushi plates are pretty delicious and packed with ingredients. Love the chicken karage. It’s pretty good variety and for 2 people we spend about $ 35 all up. So worth it

I went to this restaurant last Saturday and the restaurant was full, there were a lot of people there. I ordered salmon sushi and tuna rice roll, pork rice roll. All of the dishes were yummy. The chiefs were just standing next to you making sushi and it was quite interesting watching the process. Overall, It was quite a good place to have sushi.

Over the past week I’ve thought deeply about what I’d pick as my last meal on earth. A few dishes came to mind, but I wasn’t able to decide. I was able to narrow it down to two though — a chicken burger from Huxtaburger, and sushi. I don’t know which restaurant I’d order my sushi from because I haven’t found one that can deliver last-meal-on-earth quality. So, I’m now on a quest to find Sydney’s best sushi, and the first place I visited on this quest was Sushi Wow. Sushi Wow is a small sushi train in the heart of Newtown, and is known for delivering well-presented sushi. It quickly lived up to this reputation as most dishes I saw on the train were colourful and nicely textured. As for the taste, each dish did have a unique flavour and was fresh and appetising. They weren’t excellent though, and I can’t say why — they just didn’t WOW me like I hoped they would.

Really like this place! The train concept is fun and their sushi is reasonably priced and fresh. They also have a menu so if you see something you want there, they will make it for you. It’s BYOB but it’s $ 2 for a wine class and the minimum credit card charge is $ 10.

Not a lot to say experience-wise because I grabbed take-away, but for $ 30, my boyfriend and I were full with some of the best sushi I’ve had in recent memory. Go here and gorge yourself. Because you’re work it.

Very nice sushi and they had a few different flavors compared to other sushi places in the area. The staff was super friendly and helpful, a good place to get some lunch or dinner. I’ll definitely be going back :)

Quite impressed. Very polite and attentive staff. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. One of those places were you see the sushi being prepared in front of you and they were constantly churning out a multitude of different dishes. Reasonable pricing and fruit available as dessert.

I went here not for the sushi, but for the udon specials they have. I don’t remember the exact price, but it was something like $ 7.50 or $ 7.80 for a bowl of udon AND karaage. Not gonna lie, the bowl isn’t the largest — but really, for less than 8 bucks this is amazing value. I like how the karaage arrives in a separate bowl and not mixed in, so it doesn’t get soggy from the broth. It was quite tasty, too! Will be back for more udon. Maybe one day I’ll have some sushi as well!
