Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly waitress Showing us to our booked table for two and giving us menus and telling about the specials and soup of the day. After reading the menu and discussing foods me and my girlfriend(Friday’s are date night) ordered. I had a gnocchi carbonara and girlfriend ordered a chicken risotto Pretty enjoyable so far After a short wait we revived our drinks and 15 minutes later our food, no complaint there In the risotto there was full pieces of spinach stems attached, unevenly cooked and cut mushroom and chicken and gluggy crapy rice, My food was no better, the gnocchi was extremely floury the bacon seemed to be shop bought and barely cooked, the spring onion was raw and there was no egg in the sauce Upon sending the meal back after not even eating an eighth the manager tried everything to not lose money by offering vouchers and meal remakes. In the end I got the refund however the meal drink and movie tickes(part of a deal they do) cost $ 69.70 and I only got a refund of half the meals combined price, $ 20 All in all good customer service at the start but was horrible after that, ended up with KFC for dinner and will not be going back

We decided to meet friends for a late lunch on a Sunday. We had no trouble finding a table but we’re gob-smacked to be told that there was a 1 hour wait for food! We ordered cake and coffee instead. My wife’s apple & blueberry pie arrived cold & without cream or ice cream. When cream was requested we were told cream had run out and ice cream was provided. When asked if pie could be warmed it came back with melted ice cream! Not impressed!

Stopped in for a late lunch with my wife after some preemptive Christmas shopping. After being greeted warmly and directed to a table we had a look through the well presented menu. Lots to choose from but in the end we settled on the Salmon Focaccia and a couple of Sliders(Beef and Pulled Pork) for me. The food was delivered promptly, was as well presented as the menu and tasted great. I know they’ve been around for quite a while but this was my first time with the hallowed Slider and I was not disappointed. My wife and I also noted that the chips were fantastic, combining a little bit of crunch with great seasoning. The taste was similar to Hogs Breath curly fries but more subtle in execution. Would definitely eat here again should the chance present itself!

The following review was done over a year ago, so hopefully they’ve managed to get their issues sorted out. I still haven’t been back though. If you do try them out best of luck. Very, very, very disappointing. All I wanted was a calzone before shopping at TTP, the sauce was watery, the calzone was average & they didn’t have any parmesan cheese!!! As well as this, it took me 3 goes to get the correct change. There are a lot of very reasonable restaurants in the suburbs of Adelaide without wasting your time & money on this one.

I’ve visited Caffe B a few times for lunch after some vigorous retail activity at Savers, mostly when I can’t bear the thought of tackling the main food court at the Plaza. I’ve been avec toddler each time and we have received excellent service with regards to the kids; high chairs materialise instantly, pencils and paper and even Play Doh are provided. Service to adults has likewise been bright and friendly. The outdoor area is a good place to dine on a sunny winter day as today was and smokers are segregated into their own section which is appreciated. We ate early but noticed the place filling up rapidly as a more conventional lunch time approached. Food is perfectly satisfactory, solid Italian. Nothing fancy. If you want posh Italian fare, walk 750 metres over to the Tea Tree Plaza Interchange, hop on a city bound O-Bahn bus and go check out Rigoni or Parlemento.

The gluten free pizza is awful. The service was unapologetic and generally unacceptable.

The coffee here used to be amazing but sadly is nowhere near it’s former standard(and the chai was pretty poor too). A great shame!

Meh. I’ve experienced better totally sums up my experience. I’ve been here a few times and every time it’s bland; as are the staff. This time was a doozy however. I was dining there lunchtime(ish) on a Tuesday, it’s was kind of busy. In fact no — it had a level of people that would be deemed satisfactory or a regular level. I was wondering what the soup of the day was(there is one soup of the day each day); so I asked the waitress obviously. She didn’t know, and that’s okay. Why would you know the soup of the day. She comes back about 5 minutes later and informs me that«apparently it’s tomato and chorizo». Apparently. I order the soup of the day with fresh bread(I mean I didn’t order it like that — but that’s the description) — at this point rumoured to be tomato and chorizo. The soup arrives, without bread. To be completely honest I couldn’t be bothered asking for the bread. The soup was pretty bland and tasted exactly like tinned tomato, basil and chorizo. Booooring. I feel like table service would be better suited to this place anyway the backlog to order and pay is messy. To sum up: Bland and boring.

Service is always so friendly. They know how to hire good staff, and the coffees are just awesome with nice flourishes on the lattes and macchiatos. Great atmosphere and miles better than anything else in the area.

Caffe Buongiorno has been in the Tea Tree Plus complex for as long as I can remember and is a safe place to meet groups of friends for dinner locally. The menu highlights Healthy Choices, Gluten Free, Vegan and Vegetarian options which is really useful when it comes to dietary decisions and requirements. However, i’m not sure if a creamy con pollo is a ‘Healthy Choice’ meal like they say in the menu, it is really tasty. I had an entrée size which was definitely more then enough, and at $ 16, it seems like a main. They serve breakfast until 12 and my dad(who I dined with) indulged in the big breakfast and added extras which he really enjoyed, especially their overuse of bacon(which was probably the left over bacon for the day as we ordered his meal just as breakfast was finishing). My sister, on the other hand ordered the chicken risotto — and hated it. I tried it, and even with all the ingredients it was incredibly bland and really gluggy. We left nearly the whole meal on the table. Table service was great but some of the staff knowledge on gluten free options was poor — so watch for that. Those coeliacs need to be on their toes!

I’ve been going to Café Buongiorno since they opened and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal there. It has a nice café atmosphere and the food is great. I love pasta, I know I’ve said this a lot of times in previous reviews I’ve written, but I also like garlic bread to accompany it. Let’s start at the beginning. The garlic bread isn’t too crispy, which I appreciate. It’s lightly toasted and the garlic butter gives it a not too soft/not too crispy feel when you bite into it. That’s just right for me. The various pasta and pizza dishes I’ve had have always been top quality. My favourite is a the amarticiana sauce. I don’t normally worry too much about what pasta I have, but I NEED to have that sauce. I once took a girl I was seeing at the time to Buongiorno for Valentine’s Day, which was lucky as you’d be hard pressed to get a reservation at any restaurant in Valentine’s Day. When we walked in she was presented with a red rose as we sat down which was really sweet. As well as intimate meals they also cater for groups. A group of friends I normally hang out with all went to dinner the other night and it was not a problem for them. I’ve been to other restaurants who accommodate groups but it’s a real hassle with cramped seating spaces around the tables. That’s not the case here. This has been a long review so if you’ve just skipped right to the end I’ll tell you now: I can’t speak highly enough about Buongiorno.
