There was a time when Fasta Pasta actually served food in its restaurants! Those days are well and truly over! Overpriced plates of glue is sadly what remains!

The worst pasta meal I have ever eaten I will never go to fasta pasta ever again ! The pasta meal I received was horrible, it tasted like it was frozen and just reheated in the microwave.

Ate at this particular instantiation of the great pasta chain last night and enjoyed it. The food is consistently good from one location to another and last night’s feast at the Gilles Plains store was no exception. And it was busy! The Indian place just down the way was totally empty, as was a local Thai restaurant. So, YOU do the math. Good food and good prices and solid service will mean repeat business, and I intend on going back. Well done!

I have a thing for crappy pasta. I used to go to Pizza Hut purely for their crappy pasta. I don’t know what it is, but I just like eating crappy pasta.(I like the really awesome gourmet ones too, so don’t be judging my tastebuds!) Driving past Fasta Pasta so many times have me wondering — where would this pasta fall? Fasta pasta is definitely not in the crappy pasta category. While not quite gourmet either, there is something oddly satisfying about a plate of pasta from FP. Or maybe it’s the fact that I tend to go to FP after a session of Rock Climbing, contented with my knowledge that I am putting back whatever calories I burnt times a million. So what I really mean to say is: Go to Fasta Pasta. It’s pretty darn tasty, but it ain’t no gourmet italiano. It’s fast, and it’s filling, and sometimes it’s just what you need. A plateful of carbs and cheese. Can’t go wrong with cheese.
