Exceptional Indian. Shop front looks a bit dodgy but honestly it is amazing. Got some for friends who«don’t eat curry» and they loved it a lot. Kids loved it too. Must try for everyone.

It is my all time favourite Indian take away joint. The actual place is not flash, really authentic decent quality indian. They got a proper tandoor oven, naan bread is always freshly baked. The best Tikka Masala and Korma I ever had, and the Rogan Josh and Lamb saag is always a winner. The cucumber riata(yogurt) is a ripper! We usually get 2 x curries, rice, naans and raita and costs about $ 40 — 50. Be careful if you order hot, it is extremely hot! Make sure you got loads of riata!

Have to say this is my favourite find recently. Though the shop front looks like a spice shop/fish n chip style the venture in is worthwhile. Be prepared this is not Nine Mary’s its an old fish n chip/deli with orange paint. No EFTPOS but the value is great with more protein than sauce and authentic Indian family at the heat(I think Mama G and Papa G are the cooks). With the open kitchen you can see the pastes and ingredients are fresh. Our favourite is the Chicken Madras and Lamb Rogan Josh, chunky and bursting with flavours. Get some garlic naan is is fresh like and fluffy easily my best recommendation for that night you don’t want to cook. DON’T FORGETTHECASH

I figure the mark of good takeway is that you want to eat the leftovers for lunch the next day at work. Well, that’s what I’m about to do with my lamb saag and chicken tikka masala from Quick Curry in Lathlain. Sure, the shopfront looks vaguely like an brothel with lurid lights and a few pieces of the garlic naan were a bit burnt(will be asking nicely for no burnt bits next time). The rest, however, is worth a visit. If you ask for ‘hot’, expect it. The inside of my mouth is tingling from the chicken tikka masala, which benefited from a well-made cucumber raita on the side. Great combination. The fork-tender lamb saag was the highlight for me. Cheap, ‘quick’ and great quality food(except for the naan — remind them about that), with enough for lunch at work the next day. It’s a winner in my books.

Dodgy looking place but easily the best Indian food in Vic Park. Takeaway only, cash only.
