Doghouse Cafe

My husband just brought some donuts home from here. Wow! I’m not a huge donut fan but these were delicious! Not greasy and very moreish.

It is exactly what the name says it is … Had awesome kransky hot dog, yummy donuts and great coffee and I am fussy about my coffee! Not fine dining but def’ly worth a stop even if just for coffee!

Stopped by the drive though to get a doughnut and a hot dog.
Opted for the chilli cheese cransky with bacon and cheese. Bun was a little stale, and the bacon a little undercooked for my liking, but good quality sausage, no gristle … always a plus!
I have had doughnuts from here before and they were awesome … but these ones were a little stale and not much jam … little disappointing :(

A drive thru coffee, doughnut, and hotdog place. Well, there is a car park there so you can get out of your car if you wish.
I’ve driven past this place so often when it was closed ever wondering if I’d ever get a chance to grab a coffee and doughnut without getting out of the car. Well I saw the open sign out the front today as I waited at the lights so made the rash decision do try it out. I don’t think it opens very late into the afternoon.
Whilst the coffee was not outstanding in anyway, the four stars is for the great doughnuts. Quite a few different doughnuts on offer too.
There are hotdogs available too but think more like the German style of sausage instead of the red coated thing you get from the deli.

Oh boy! The convinence of this nifty Drive Thru Café is one brillient idea with an awesome selection of Hotdogs, Donuts and Coffee /​Tea!
I was driving past, and of course being smack on lunch time my tummy was sending me SOS callings just at the right timing I spotted this awesome place and being in that city rush mode, I decided I’d be a little naughy and get myself a Hotdog at yes, thats right! A Drive Thru Hotdog Café!
Of course you can do the safe option and park and go in to their fabulous shop and order one of the best Hotdogs to take away or sit down at one of their tables they also have conviently set up!
To top this place off, they produce one of the most awesome and tasty hotdogs I’ve had! With fresh looking Salad to pick from or go all out with Bacon, Cheese, Onion! The options they offer are fantastic!
Offering delicicous selections of Sausages including Kranksy, Bratwurst, American Sausage and more with a great options of Salad and Sauces to add to your Bun!, to a range of tempting Iced Donuts and of course a nice Coffee or Tea to follow!

Donuts and hotdogs? Yes! I’ll take two of each!
I’ve had the privilege of having a hot dog (and, of course a donut) here and it was fantastic. As an expat, I find a lot of confusion between a «hot dog» and a «sausage» (or, what I would call a bratwurst). I might not know the proper lingo, but I can say that the Doghouse is not selling those manky, pink weenies sold at the local grocers.
The dog stretched long past the bun and had ample toppings. It was a very filling snack for two people. I found the donut to be just «okay» as I regretted what I got. The chocolate frosting looked far better than the ordered jelly-​filled. Also, I imagine earlier in the day the fresher the donuts are.
I’m a little confused on the operating times. I suppose since this place sells donuts, they must close right after lunch. A hot dog run at 3 pm is not in the cards for this place. Be sure to have your hot dog cravings earlier in the day.
