Great place to bowl a few frames, but it’s a bit rough around the edges. For those older with bigger hands, you’ll spend a fair bit of time trying to find a suitable ball. They’re rarely organised, or even put back on racks instead of being left on the lane. Housekeeping also needs some attention, especially when it comes to the busier weekened evenings. More often than not staff remain behind the counter, not cleaning lanes between customers, leaving food trays, chip packets, and bottles piled up. More often than not it’s the more boorish customers who leave lanes in this state(who do enjoy the Licensed nature of the venue), so it’s best not to take a lane next to them if you’ve got kids in tow. Speaking of kids, there’s a reasonable sized games arcade there as well, but you’ll easily burn a fair bit of cash if you don’t keep the kids on a short leash. Other than that, a reasonable place to go and kill some time, either by yourself or with friends.

We loved our family night here. Even on a weeknight there were plenty of people around and you can soak up the atmosphere! The centre is large enough so you feel as though you have your own space, and it’s well looked after. We’ll definitely be back.

I really do enjoy bowling, it is one of those childhood activities that I still really enjoy. I am absolutely hopeless and wish I could still use the ramp they used to give me when I was younger. This bowling ally is actually really close to where I live which is awesome. It is always quite new so unlike the one in Cragie it is clean and modern. The girl behind the desk was so lovely as well. Sometimes although being a brunette I have my blonde moments, it took me so long to work out what size shoe I would be. She help and must of got about three different sizes out. The games aren’t too expensive around $ 15 and it really is a lot of fun with a group of friends!

Now bowling may have a nerdy stigma attached to it, we may laugh at the weird clown shoes and the dorky way we have to run to throw the ball, but you can’t deny it isn’t a lot of fun. Now I might not have my own bowling shirt, but every now and then with a large group of friends bowling is a pretty legendary night out. It is a reasonable price, around $ 15 for one game which gets you a fair amount of time, well enough to get you into the swing of things and about $ 20 for two games. There is a café and bar to keep you well fed through the night, and if there are some sticklers in your group who really are too cool for bowling, then there are also arcade games so they can go play on the dance machines, heaps cooler, ha! It is a good amount of fun, though just a warning when Justin Beiber’s «Baby» comes on there will be a group of teenagers around waiting to reenact the video, and that’s your cue to leave!
