This is a bit of a gem of a place, I have to admit. It’s still quite a typical «shopping centre café», but the window pides are delicious, and then there’s the menu itself! It actually has poutine on the menu! Ok, so it doesn’t actually use cheese curds, and there’s nowhere near enough squeaky cheese (possibly the most acceptable alternative there is, tbh) in the dish to balance all the meat, but STILL.
Then there’s the lovely staff, the booth seating, and the coffee upgrade through Unilocal… all good things. All good things. I like you, Rhyme St. I just have to remind myself how much I like you, because with you being stuck in the middle of the Cat & Fiddle, sometimes I forget.
