Came here for lunch, went up to the counter to ask for a table, staff completely ignored me and talked to each other until I actually interrupted them and asked if there was a free table. Got told to sit wherever, but after having a look at the menu, couldn’t get a waitress at all to come explain something. Useless staff, this coming from a previous waitress.

I stopped in to get a quick takeaway coffee and was pleasantly surprised. The coffee was very hot but once it cooled down it was delicious! Would definitely return if in the area.

The lounge room never has dissapointed me for breakfast. I like that they’re open early and you can sit inside slabs outside. The menu is extensive and they also serve lunches. You’ll Find yummy house baked desserts and treats when you order at the counter. Today I met up with a friend and we both orders the bacon egg tomato and mushrooms $ 16.50. I had fried eggs, my mate had the scrambled. The bacon was lovely and crispy and plenty of it too. My eggs were perfectly cooked and my friend scrambled eggs looked lovely and fluffy and once again plentiful on the plate. The mushrooms were chunky and the roasted tomato was adorned with a squiggle of pesto. My iced coffee was nice but could have been a bit sweeter, the scoop of icecream wasn’t enough to add that sweetness. My daughter had a chocolate milkshake and loved it. We’ll be back! Might try lunch next!

I think I need to give these guys another good go. To be fair I only shared a caramel slice and chips and had a cappuccino, so… not really a good idea of the food. Although, I I kinda did think the menu was a little blah or lacking in choice but the deli case had lots of yummy Rawesome treats so that’s a reason to go back and try again another day. I loved the atmosphere. We sat outside– I was not keen to sit inside as it smelled like gross seafood inside — which is always an icky thing for me. And not really a reflection of the joints vibe at all — just a me issue thing– but it wrecks it for me.(The café experience). Everytime. So anyway, I will try them again, and I will bring a friend, cause that’s the kind of gal I am. Three and Half stars. Not just three. Three seems so much meaner. Don’t you think?

I went here for late breakfast 2 weeks ago and the coffee was pretty bad. The eggs benedict was good but not great. In this day and age, in a place as coffee obsessed as Perth I expect a better cup of coffee. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was great.

I didn’t try the food here so all I can say for breakfast is that the choice was too limited for myself — I like options — and the menu wasn’t anything new either. The coffee which I did try, was very good… after the 25 minutes I waited for it. I think I caught them at a busy time and there was only two people juggling all the orders, so I’ll let that slide. The surrounds are quite quaint and fit in nicely with the antique stores and old Guilford buildings that share this street. Will I give them another shot? Yeah, go on.

Awesome coffee. No really, some of the best around. And the beans are great for breakfast. Really enjoy coming here. Would have been five stars but service is usually slow.

A really cute café with yummy coffee and a cool vibe. I sat at the communal table, read one of their magazines, and enjoyed an iced coffee that came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. They have a nice selection for breakfast food that can be ordered until 11:30am. At lunch, I couldn’t help but notice the delicious lamb burger my table neighbors were eating. Their burger was big and looked delicious. I will surely be back to try a bite. On the way out, I saw this awesome back area with plush velvet couches. Very hip. I love that this café has free wifi. You can sit here and read or bring your laptop and hangout for a while. I never felt rushed while I had a read and slowly enjoyed my coffee.

The lounge room has mastered the art of a little pot of groove. This café is a little set back from the louder shop fronts. I found myself seduced by its’ private, intimate setting, few I know can resist that! Upon ordering a pot of peppermint tea, I made straight for the back of the café, as casually as possible so as not to arise suspicion. The reason for this being that there is a well kept secret for the regulars and locals to indulge in the spoils on offer.(a selection of luxurious day beds!) Much to my delight, not only was there one day bed, clearly destined for me and my friend, but the entire back section was free! The tea was devine, the 2 baristers were lovely(quite delectable!) Needless to say we melted the day away. Heads up the hours are between 8: am– 4: pm Mon to Fri and 9: am– 5: pm on the weekend. We were caught out as our Friday arvo chat rolled on but the guys were lovely and went about their end of day business completely unphased. We appreciatively savoured the last little bit and left with BIG praises and greatful smiles. The prices are reasonable and the service is amazing!!!
