Love this place, foods is pretty good, decent prices, but huge servings. The big breakfast is amazing, and the coffee and tea is good too

We stopped here on our way to Swan Valley to go wine tasting and it was a perfect breakfast to start the day! Enter this cute little small town café to go back in time, we clearly weren’t locals and they could tell! We ordered the vegetarian breakfast and smoked salmon benedict, along with a flat white and a milkshake. The plates were filling but not obnoxiously so, and the prices were low(for the area). I would definitely recommend if you live here or are passing through!

Great food at reasonable prices. Open early in the morning for breakfast, excellent service with inside or outside seating

Stopped in here for a quick bite to eat on my lunch break. Got there a little before 1pm and the place was still very busy. Most tables were full and there were a few people grabbing takeaway. Always a good sign when a lunch bar is doing a good trade. Service was still quick and friendly. The cake cabinet was incredibly enticing, but I was firmly set on just getting lunch. They had a display cabinet full of sandwiches and rolls and there’s an additional menu of all day breakfast and burgers and things like that. Most normal sandwiches are very well priced at $ 5. The rolls were around the $ 8 mark and $ 10 for Turkish rolls. I bought a smoked salmon Turkish roll which came with sundried tomato, sweet chilli sauce, cream cheese and spinach. Dining in, they brought it out to me in a few minutes perfectly toasted. There was a very generous amount of smoked salmon, and the other flavours were all well balanced as well. My companions both got tandoori chicken rolls which looked good, and I was told tasted just as good. A very nice spot for a simple deli-style lunch. Based on the other reviews, I’ll have to go back for cofffee and cake!

Love this place! Best place for breakfast, lunch or coffee on the James St strip, hands down. They have recently renovated and expanded both the number of tables and the size of the menu. The wooden furniture and new décor make it both cosy and chic. Some tasty vegetarian items have been added — hooray! — such as the Vegetarian Breakfast(check out the photo). Everything is fresh and delicious. And the staff are still the same friendly team. Check it out!

Loved the food. Had steak burger with the works and a toasted continental roll. Both absolutely delicious. The coffee was hot and tasty and the premises was clean with clearing of tables and service spot on.

Nothing fancy about this Milk Bar. Just quick cheap and good value, fast food. Crazy little secret: Really nice coffee! Possibly the best I’ve had in Perth!

LOVE the coffe. Best in Perth. Jack makes each cup with lurve, and that is as good as it gets. Foos is always great, and the service is that good that they actually remember your name if you are a regular, even if you have not been in for a long time!

A hidden gem. The food is great for lunch, I particularly love the grilled fish and chips. The Coffee is on the mark, you can tell there is some Melbourne in the staff!
