This one is rather tucked away on the James St strip, worth finding though. The coffee is ok, there are sweet treats for morning/afternoon tea and there is a gorgeous selection of cookbooks as well as local history books. If you’re lucky, you’ll also find some great homewares!

Between all it’s antique shops Guildford only has a few cafes and due to this factor you will struggle to find a seat/some peace in these joints. Herein lies the beauty of Paris Café, secluded and hidden behind some stores there is a courtyard where you will find this sweet place. The delightful owner Tracey Bock who is also a wedding celebrant sells local produce in the café such as olives, olive oil and dukkah. Being just new the café is fairly simple at the moment with a few chairs and tables, beautiful china wear to drink and eat her delicious cup cakes, slices and tea sandwiches from. The prices are very fare and if you are in the area and want a quiet but quality sit down and cuppa. I would suggest this place, you might even pick up a cook book or some local produce while you are there while sitting back looking at the local artist(Aylward) pastel pieces on display.
