My sister and I went for sister bonding time, and I was so excited. It was my first time there and honestly they did a crappy job. I got a man to do my mani and a lady to do my pedi and both messed me up. The man really hurt my cuticle on my index finger. Then he put this liquid on that made it burn more. My finger was so swollen. Then he messed up my ring finger nail and refused to fix it. not only did he hurt me and messed up my nail, I would expect a discount or something you know? But nope. I was charged 25 $ for a shitty nail job and pedi. NEVERAGAIN.

.Horrible place honestly I give them no stars if possible. The man is the only one who does acrylic. He Is so rude and only knows how to do traditional square nail decent. I went in asking for a coffin nail shape and 1st of all a women began on my nails and she said she could do it and she applied the acrylic very nice and thin looked very natural but she was struggling so much on the shape. I understand that there is many shapes out there and some might be difficult to do. But she could have said she didn’t know how to make the shape. So after 15 minutes of struggling the man took it over and that’s where the problem began he made my nails so ugly and he wouldn’t listen to the fact that I didn’t like the shape. And not only that but when he was going in with the drill he was hurting me and I kept telling him and he didn’t care. I had to literally pull my hand away from him and he cut me really bad and at that point I got really upset. And not only did he do a horrific job he still blamed the fact I got cut on me because I was moving? Like no you cut me and he charged me full price and I paid and left. The next day I went to a different salon to have my acrylic removed. That’s how horrible they were.

Good for their prices. The man didn’t exactly make the nails even lengths though which bother me … He also didn’t clean under my gel acrylics or have me wash off my hands before applying the gel which also can cause for an uneven nail. Still decent enough for the price

I came here for the first time today. I got a full set for $ 18 and got them done by the man there. I didn’t get his name but he was very nice! My nails turned out great. Will be bringing my mom back with me next time!

I’ve been coming here for a while now… I kept coming back solely because it’s close to my boyfriends house and the woman with the short bobbed haircut does an amazing pedicure and she is always so polite and pleasant. I will not be coming back however for a full set of acrylics. The gentleman who does acrylic nails here(only one person does them) isn’t very skilled at doing different shapes and gets upset when you ask him to fix a few things. I’m not someone who is much of a nagger but he cuts me every single time without a doubt and always does a sloppy job… if it’s not uneven and misshapen nails it’s extremely sloppy powder. I’m not quite sure why I kept coming back. Prices are great and it’s somewhat clean but I would only ever go back for service from one person. and unfortunately I’m not sure what her name is. I wouldn’t recommend coming here. Very busy and crowded so most times your spa day is extremely rushed as well. Just being honest. Spend your money somewhere that’s worth it.

Good place! Can get busy and they don’t have much staff so I suggest calling and asking for an appointment. Very economical. No complaints.

I never take the time to write Unilocal reviews, but this experience called for it. This used to be my favorite place to go to. Decently priced, friendly staff & close to home. But today’s experience was unacceptable to say the least. I have no problem with people with fungus, but I do expect that the technicians set a level of quality and sanitation for the rest of their customers. I chose a color and the woman next to me so happened to like the same color and asked the technicians if she could use it. They of course didn’t hesitate to take the color I chose and use it directly on her toes, contaminating the polish with the fungus. Needless to say, I was appalled that they would have no regard to sanitation policies, let alone my concern. Now I’m just worried that not only myself, but other clients could have been potentially affected while coming to get services here. I hate to write such negative things, but I would appreciate a review like this if I were trying out a new nail salon. So very disappointed as this was my go-to nail place, but I’ll spend a little extra money & travel time to go somewhere I know will be sanitary.

Rating on the service… Very nice, quite, and friendly! =) Spa chairs are wonderful. Prices are super reasonable. I like the way my nails and pedicure came out.(Coming from a picky person and who’s had acrylic nails for years) Came here because my usual place was closed on the 4th, but I’m glad I did. I think I found a new and closer from home nail place! =) I’ll rate how long they lasted,(Hopefully later than sooner) Lol.

My nail place is closed on Tuesdays I found out today(I go to ritz nails and salon in Fullerton) so I thought I’d try this place. They are fairly new, reasonably priced. They do take their time which is amazing but if you are in a hurry this is probably not the spot. They like to pamper you ;) great lil hidden spot Also the address on Unilocal is incorrect. They are located across from the 99cent store on leffingwell. 14561 leffingwell rd #14569 Whittier ca 90604

Love this place. Every time I go to visit my friends in Whittier we come here to get pampered… The place is very clean and sanitary. The staff is really nice and they do a good job. The price is unbelievably cheap! Worth every drive and time going there. So worth it.

I went to this new salon very excited to get a gel manicure. Having been there 2x before I knew what to expect. But this last visit was a nightmare! The manicurist was teary eyed and at first I asked if she was feeling ok. She explained she was putting on her own eyelash extensions and glue was irritating her eyes. She had one eye on and one eye off. While she took off my nail gel, she did not let remover sit to dissolve it and is normally done, but instead she used a tool to RIP off the gel, which also stripped off a part of the top layer of my natural nail. I asked her to use the foil wrap remover, but she insisted on doing the peel because it was faster for her. Then I asked her if I could get the paraffin hand wax and she said ok. She first filed my nails so square that the edges were sharp points. They were so sharp that I injured myself(TMI, but has to do with using toilet paper). Then a different lady doing the pedicure surprised me with a sharp burning sensation when she decided, without asking me, to pull out an ingrown toenail! «STOP! What are you doing?» I asked, and her response was matter-of fact«ingrown toenail». This action is not ok. I told her to stop, ask me before doing such a thing, and THEN she proceeded to pull another one! I survived the mani/pedi, and the ladies disappeared. But I’m still waiting for the paraffin. 15 minutes later I got out of the chair to find my manicurist. She was in the waxing room putting the lashes on her other eye. I asked what happened to the paraffin, I’ve been waiting. She jumped up like she was caught and said, «Oh, ok, I’ll do it now» She led me to a crockpot full of wax and said rudely, «stick your hands in». I said, «Uhm, never mind» because usually you’re sitting in a chair and they put it on your hands. I was just standing there in the room and it seemed weird to stand and stick my hands in a crockpot. I regret leaving a tip, but did anyway. The next day 4 nails broke and I went back to the salon and spoke with«Don» who had done a good job with my nails before. He offered to fix it but seemed busy so I agreed to come back the following day. He said he was going to remove and replace the entire set. But when I came back for Don’s correction, he said«Your nails break» and I said «yes, because they were weakened and filed incorrectly». He accused me of biting my nails. I said, «No, I do not bite my nails.» I’m ok if you just take off the gel and redo a manicure. He then continued to blame ME saying they broke because I bite my nails. No responsibility was taken for a poor gel manicure. I was so frustrated that I left and went across the street to 3D Bella Nails and paid a second time to have it done right. 3D Bella Nails did a fantastic job. I will never return to Ritz nails who ruined my nails that now need to mend and caused me physical pain. When given the chance to correct the issue, they agreed then blamed me. I will never ever go back there. Beware.

My go to place! Very clean, very nice especially to be located in Whittier. You get spa pedicure no up charge for it. Staff is great, and very reasonable prices. But they do take a while on you BUT it’s worth every minute. Very cheap in price and not your typical dirty nail place.
