Friendly Nails and Spa

I love this nail place, they do their best to try new and different designs. I’ve gotten ombré gel a few times and I was pretty happy with the result. They aren’t super friendly but I hate making small talk anyway. They also don’t hassle you to get the extra services on their pedicures they just show you the pricing list

I saw the previous reviews and really wanted to like this place since it is close to my house. I NEVER get my nails done, and wanted to treat myself this weekend. I chose to get a full set/​pedi. The woman that did my pedicure was very friendly and did a great job on my toes! I was very pleased with her service. I am extremely disappointed, however, on the job that was done on my hands. :(I have a pretty high pain tolerance, and was in extreme PAIN the entire time! The gentleman that did my hands did everything very quickly and roughly and was not gentle at all. He cut almost all of my cuticles, and I think I may have a cut that has gotten infected :(When the nails were filed, he also pulled and hurt my nails a lot, so much to the point where my nail beds were sore and painful for 2 days! The nails were also not cleaned up, and I left the salon with clear polish stuff all over my cuticles that eventually came off in the shower. After feeling miserable and being in pain for the entire duration of my appointment, it’s safe to say I won’t be returning.

Not sure the name of the male who did my nails but he did an excellent job :) Also only $ 20 for gel manicure which is a great price. I liked how after every step he would ask me if it looked okay.

This nail salon is DIFFERENT than the rest for a few reasons…
I had a acrylic nails done by LEE b/​c he was highly recommended by other Unilocalers (thanks guys!) and was extremely impressed on how good he made my nails look. He doesn’t leave them chunky or bulky like MANY other places do. He made them look more natural-​looking by not going heavy on the powder substance that is used to fill the acrylic nail. Some might think that this would make the nail less durable BUT I’ve had these nails on for about 3 weeks with not even absolutely no damage! I’ve bumped into many things while washing my car, grabbing things abruptly, doing rigorous activities and they do no budge! This is especially important as I have a heavy hand and with many other acrylics I was constantly going back for repairs… Which was exhausting and very annoying. I even got a compliment after having them on for over 2 weeks and when I had told them it had been over two weeks they were in shock. It’s been about 3 weeks now and I will need a fill just b/​c my nails grew. For
the quality the price is extremely reasonable. :)
The mani/​pedi services are great quality as well! They work hard on your nails
and toes and get them all cleaned up. Mimi did my pedi and she was amazing! She gave my a REAL massage, not merely rubbing my feet, she really got in there and it really relieved a lot of pressure. I loved how she left my toes and how they still look like a fresh job after 3 weeks!!!
Last thing I’d like to say is that this place IS friendly! I know other places are polite but these people are FRIENDLY. My first visit was about 6+ months ago and when I came in about 3 weeks ago, the ladies who worked on my nails still remembered me… Not only that but they remember what nail color I asked for!!! I was really surprised b/​c I only came in ONCE before and they remembered that and a few other things I talked about! The workers also all get along well and they create a nice environment. I was there on a Friday on my last visit and there was one guy singing and having a good time making the others laugh… I found that to be
nice touch.

I have been looking for a great nail spa and my search is over! I will be a customer for life… My daughter and I had an amazing time. Everyone was so cheerful and friendly. I was paired with Sally and she is GREAT! I didn’t get everyone’s name but I will. When She asked me about what nail color I wanted. I told her, I was going to try to black for the first time. I have always chosen very neutral classic colors. Sally was great in helping me find a color and eased me into choosing a dark color. She told me to try no. 4 color. She was absolutely right. It was enough to have me try a darker color and not freak out! My daughter and I loved our nails and can’t wait to go back!

I always get my nails done here. They last very long and they don’t rip you off. They even re did my gel nails for ten dollars when they changed colors when i accidentally burned them with a lighter

I am very insecure about my nails and so I never really go for mani-​pedi. But, I had to go to a family party and I had to get my nails done. I was very hesitant to do this but I don’t regret doing this at all. My nails might have been cut a bit too short but they’re so cute! The color didn’t come out as I expected it but still super cute! I’d come here again ^ — ^

Today was my second time here. It’s down the street from me so I came back because they were able to take me right away as a walk in and my gel lasted so long!
I walked in today on a Thursday around 230 and they helped me right away. I had two people working on me at once. A young guy did my nails he did a great job. He was super friendly and was singing along to the music. And he ran around to each side so I didn’t have to reach my arm across my lap. The lady who did my pedi really took her time and did a great job.
I love how my nails came out and can’t wait to come back! The price is also good It was 45 $ for gel mani/​pedi or for just a gel mani 20 $ and it’s right next door to draft picks so I can get a drink after ;)

As a man who appreciates the finer things in life, like well manicured nails, I must say I was blown away by the excellent service I experienced here. I was seated immediately for a manicure and pedicure combo without an appointment or judgement for being the only male client inside. Everyone was so pleasant — especially the two ladies who were working on my hideously long rat claws ;). They were so playful. I immensely enjoyed both their presence and conversation. Left smelling and feeling awesome. Will definitely be going back.

This place is extremely friendly just like it’s name! Lee is helpful and funny — he also helped me with information regarding my nails since my previous salon didn’t bother telling me when I’m supposed to take mine off.
It took an hour to do — which is longer than what I previously had but then again this is a different salon and it had more steps. Will definitely be coming here again!

Truly exceptional service. The best manicure I’ve had in a while. The attention to detail made brought my nails back to life! This place has a great environment.

First time coming here and very pleased! Mimi did my gel pedicure she took her time and cleaned my toes really good and she was very gentle. Amy did my gel manicure she’s excellent! I’ve finally found a great nail salon woohoo!

First time ever that my nails are MY NAILS!
I always get the fake acrylic nails but when I came here I wanted to change it up a bit so I went with only gel, no fake tips! I was patient and finally I am happy with the results! I think a few more weeks and the length I want will be accomplished! Unless I get a crazy idea in my head that I want the fakes back! :)
The services has always been great! I’ve paid $ 61 (tip included) for a Mani/​Pedi with gel and my little girls polish changed on her toes and fingers! The wait has not been too long when I come without an appointment! The chairs with the massage are amazing! I admit sometimes I forget to turn the sucker on.
Be clear on the services you want! It’s their job to upsell you… it’s your choice on what you want done! Don’t feel pressured that you have to say yes! I’ve seen this a lot at every nail shop! Yes, design is EXTRA! There is a dollar charge if paying with a credit card and yes there is a charge to remove the Gel Polish!
Recommend this shop if ever in the area and in need of a new spot! Great with kids and men too!

I love this place everyone is friendly and talented, I love Amy and Lee, I never want to go anywhere else. They always give me want I want and they all work together. I can not say anything bad about this place

Was looking for a place to checkout while my little sister did a tour at Biola down the road. Walked in at 10:10 and told them I wanted a gel mani and they got me seated right away.
I showed the first Lady a picture of the half moon design I wanted and she waved for the other girl to come and handle to request. I’m glad to say that she did an AMAZING job. Amy is awesome! I had some bling added on and she was pretty meticulous after I told her I needed this to last because I work with weights all day long at a gym.
After an hour of her hard work. I truly believe these ladies are artists. I watched in awe as she expertly created each nail. She kept making sure I liked the design and I’m so pleased with how it turned out. I was ready to pay $ 50 or so because I thought they might charge extra for the time they spent. But when she told me $ 30 I was stoked and left her a $ 10 tip for her hard work. If I lived in the area is definitely be back!

This place is super close to my parents home and on a day when I had nothing really to do I decided to get my nails done.
They aren’t very pushy about asking you to get things which I like and the ladies are pretty nice.
It does get busy so you should call ahead since it seems like Soo many people know about this place as being really good.

I have been coming to this nail salon for like 3 years now! ;) I love the convenience of walk-​in service and the staff are always so nice and make my manicure and pedicure look great! !!
Leo and Amy are really friendly and know their clients by name. The price is very reasonable and I like that I can bring my little girl in for a mani/​pedi as a treat, since they have a special spa chair designed for the little princess and play movies for their entertainment.
I can’t say enough about this place.. I’m a regular here and would recommend to anyone to visit and see for your self!

I decided to give this place 2 stars instead of 1 because the people who work here are generally really nice.
My main complaint is the actual UV lamp that was used for my gel manicure. When I first put my hand in it, it was BURNING hot. I consider myself to have very high tolerance for pain, but I immediately withdrew my hand because it felt like my hand was getting burned. The lady who did my nails did not understand English and she kept insisting that I put my hands under the lamp. After sucking it up for the entire duration of my appointment, I was feeling pretty miserable.
I think the lady who did my nails was fairly new, because she worked very slowly and kept making small mistakes. I could tell because there was another lady (Amy, I believe) who worked much faster and seemed more experienced and confident. Anyway, when my nails were «finished,» I had several spots of nail polish smudged all over my hands. It was quite embarrassing to even show her. She charged me 22 dollars and I was confused because I thought it was 20 for a gel manicure. I didn’t even have a design, but I was tired and just paid her the 22 dollars plus tip.
They do nail designs too but when my friend showed a picture from pinterest, she received a design that looked completely different from what she requested. So when you ask for a design, be sure it is exactly what you are going to get.
I don’t think I will be coming back again.
