We specialize in residential and commercial moving and storage with relocation packages for the local or long distance move. We are a full service packing, moving, and storage company that is fully licensed, bonded, and insured. We provide quality personnel that are certified packer/​movers. Our crews are training to pad wrap/​stretch wrap all furniture to insure that all items arrive in perfect condition, while at the same time providing customer service at the utmost. Pool Tables, Pianos, Hot Tubs, Safe, Antiques, you name it, we most likely move and store it.

History

Established in 2006.

Mover Dudes was started in 2006 by Jon Eye, the company’s current President. Eye had been working for a self-​storage company helping people move in and out of homes. After hearing about all of the difficulties and stresses people were consistently experiencing when moving, Eye decided that he wanted to help them. He envisioned a company that kept their word to the customer, was honest about costs, and relieved the common stresses of moving. Mover Dudes is now the reality of his vision.

The company started small, but with a small ad in the telephone book, the company grew. Eye and his hard-​working crew began moving local residents out of the area, and before they knew it, the name «Mover Dudes» was catching on. Long distance moves soon expanded into commercial moves after 1 year in business.

Mover Dudes, Inc. has continued to grow and with their commitment to customer service, shared knowledge and education of their clients, they have become a true leader in the industry.

Business Owner

The owner of the company started moving residential households in the evenings and weekends to earn extra income for college will holding down a full time job at a self storage facility. While in college he took off a couple semesters to work and save money for continuing education. Once he graduated with a degree in Accounting Information Systems, he took a full time job with the same storage company doing financial analysis in 2004. After two years he continued to help people move after hours. He realized that a quality service moving company was in need in Wincheter, VA. He started as a sole proprietorship in 2006. In 2007 he became incorporated and grew from a two person show to a team of 14 by the end of 2010 with locations in Winchester, VA and Leesburg, VA. Mover Dudes’ is planning future growth in 2012, but is currently extending more focus on quality control and professionalism. Our customers are very important to us and we plan to keep it that way.
