DSP’s car stereo installation was excellent in every dimension — quality of installation, price and customer service. In addition to perfectly installing the head unit, Eddy beautifully flush– mounted two USB ports and an auxiliary input in the console of my car. His installation looks as good as if were the original equipment in my car. Yet his price for installation was about half the amount quoted by another installer. And there were no surprises between his quote and his installed price. His customer support was outstanding as well. He fully explained the operation of the unit after he installed it. And when I called him several weeks later for help with a feature he calmly walked me through the operation of the unit until the problem was solved.

Excellent customer service and knowledge of car electrical system. I’m a military service member who wanted to have some alarm work done to my new car, new to area and tried Eddy’s place. Glad I chose this shop. I had a lot more done than alarm with auto start, tint with Dave, and tons of other custom work done. I have a 15 scion FR-​S, so if anyone needs custom work done, heres the place to come to as this car is more complicated than other and my car had almost everything done to it… Couldn’t be more happy with everything and especially how they worked with me. There are few shops who tie up wires (took off my bumper one day and saw everything was nice and neat) and back up their work with quality. I suggest anyone wanting knowledgeable or custom work done to their car the right way, their way go to this place.

I highly recommend Eddie and DSP Audio. I called ahead at the end of the day and was able to select a new car stereo and have it installed within 35 minutes. Eddie was very helpful and I felt like I could trust his recommendation. I walked away with a cheaper model than I had planned to buy.

I worried that I had managed to fry my car stereo trying to put in an after market addition. I called DSP to see if they might be able to help and they said I should bring it in for a $ 60 diagnostic. I was able to schedule and appointment to come in a couple of hours later and was surprised by how busy it was. They called about 30 min after that with an update. Unfortunately, it was dead, so I needed to buy a new head unit. I bought a unit they had in stock (lots of good options) and asked them to install. Since they had done the diagnostic, they gave me a bit of a break on the installation charge, which I appreciated.
30 min later and everything was done — very clean, professional install. Everything looks great and sounds great. Even though they seemed really busy and it was steaming hot, they got me in and out fast and took the time to answer all the questions I had. The price in the end was more than I was hoping I’d have to spend when I walked in, but was totally fair.

Went here for tinting for my wagon. It was done promptly and at a much better price than other places I received quotes from. The guys working here are friendly as well.

I have been going to DSP Audio for the past 2 – 3 years and I have always had a great experience with their staff.
Most recently, I got a new car and needed to get my windows tinted. Dave, who works for DSP does an amazing job. As he performed the tint job on my last vehicle. Dave is very knowledgeable, thorough, and friendly. Dave performs the tint jobs by hand which is 10 times better than getting a computer cut tint job. In addition to all of this, DSP always gives me a great deal on the work I get done.
I look forward to being a repeat customer here and strongly recommend anyone who needs tints to call DSP and ask for Dave.

These guys did an amazing job on my car they installed my unit perfectly and made it look seem less and perfect with the interior of my car. Their suggestion for my unit surpassed by expectations. And they did it in a timely manner for a reasonable price.

I came here due to the high reviews on Unilocal.I’m glad I did the guys here are professional and informative. I decided to finally update my stock stereo with a Pioneer stereo touch screen. Installation was quick and clean. I was given a tutorial on how to use the newly installed Pioneer stereo. I highly recommend this shop if you’re looking for a professionally licensed car-​n-​audio shop. I will return to have my windows tinted next.

I came here after looking extensively for a place to tint my brand new car. I recently moved to the area from Miami, Fl where I had a go to shop. So, to say the least, I was being very picky. Back at home, limo tints of excellent quality were on all my family’s vehicles with lifetime warranty for 100 $. I was surprised when I called all the tinting stores to find a place was going to charge 300 $ with a military discount.
Anyway, I called these guys and they saw me the same day, charged me a great price and I have lifetime warranty! The only downer was waiting 3 hours but it was worth it. One window had to be redone due to the weather which is why it took 3 hours. I appreciated the fact that he took his time to make sure the job was done right the first time! My car looks amazing and everything is perfect. Definitely coming back for my wife’s car!

This place is great! I have had all 3 of my vehicles tinted by Eddy and his crew, along with a navigation system, 2 full audio systems including 3 amplifiers 3 pairs of speakers and 3 subwoofers throughout my 3 vehicles. Also did my smart start alarm and remote start on my Volkswagen! They are the greatest. They may be small but they know their stuff!

After doing my research, I’m glad I decided to go with DSP. They did an excellent job with everything I got done.
I got a remote starter, a new car radio, and tints installed on the same day… Eddy was nice enough to walk me through the break down as far as what I needed and the prices… it was super affordable compared to the other places I received estimates from… He was very meticulous while still working at a fast pace… My overall experience was great and I would def recommend them to anyone! After seeing the awesome reviews on Unilocal,I decided to get tint and remote start put on my new SUV. I made it to my appointment early and Dave was there to great me with a warm smile and handshake. Him and I chatted for a minute and he got started on my new baby right away. I watched him take his time and his attention to detail was phenomenal. The tint came out great. Dave is a very respectful person and I would work with him directly for the rest of my tinting needs.
After the tint was finished, Eddy came in to do the remote start. By the way, I make a decent living and spending close to $ 400 dollars on anything is significant to me. Eddy hops out his truck and walks right past me. Didn’t even acknowledge me to say, «Hey, I am Eddy, I will be installing the remote start in your car today. BTW, thanks for giving me your money. I appreciate your business.» He did the job while I ran around town and did some errands. The work was good, the remote start works. But, Eddy, if you want repeat business, I suggest learning some social skills and be personable with your clients. Maybe Dave can help you. DSP will be missing out on future business with me and my company. Can someone tell me where I can find customer service these days?

I had window tints installed on both of my vehicles by DSP 4 years apart and had a great experience each time. They are affordable and do a fantastic job with installation. The final products looked great in both cases. Their service was friendly and fast. Best of all, when I moved to a new state and needed to remove the tint, they performed this service quickly and efficiently and worked around my schedule to get it done ASAP. The service technician, Dave, even knocked $ 50 off the cost of doing it.
One other benefit of DSP is there is plenty to do around the area if you need to kill a few hours while the work is done. The Wheaton Mall is a 10 min walk away and there are plenty of good restaurants even closer than that.

Review: Over the years, I’ve had 2 remote start packages installed here along with 1 stereo system. One time 5 years ago, I was looking to get an older car an iPod accessory kit but no manufacturer makes them. Eddy did some research and custom built an iPod output on my car. He’s like a mad genius that has electronic stereo expertise with a touch of MacGyver in his genes. If you have a custom job that no one else can do, bring it to Eddy, he’ll figure something out. What I really like about him is that he’s honest and upfront. No tricks. No trying to sell you something you don’t need. No sales tactics. He’s direct and truthful and that’s why I’ve brought 3 cars to him over the years.
Cost: Very reasonable.
Service: Eddy’s essentially a 1 man band even though he may have other techs that work for him. That means that he may not be at his desk to answer your phone call immediately (because he’s working on a car). That means that when you walk into his business, no one may be there to greet you (because he’s probably working on a car). That also means that his prices will be cheaper because he doesn’t have the overhead that other shops do. But what you will find is that if you explain what you’re looking to do, Eddy will be patient and listen to you, do research, and give you an accurate estimate of how much and how long it will take.
Note: Before driving into the alley to get to DSP, you may want to park on the street to see if Eddy’s got an open bay available to do your work. It’s a bit crazy trying to reverse out of the alley.
The waiting room has a TV in it and a bathroom. If you’re going to wait a few hours for your work to be done, you’re better off visiting one of the many restaurants that are within walking distance (Max’s Kosher deli, Limerick Pub, Nava Thai, Woomi Garden, Seoul Food, etc)

Really nice work, very fair price and excellent craftsmanship. Eddie and his team fixed mistakes made by other installers and made sure I had a system that sounds fantastic and is installed correctly! Highly recommend!

I took a family member’s car up to get his existing system checked out and wow, was I ever happy to find this awesome shop! The shop is clean and professional looking and they were able to slide my car right in and get fixed in under fifteen minutes! Not only that but he pointed out what was wrong and actually showed me what had been happening which I really appreciated. The price was great and customer service was great as well. Will recommend this shop to anyone looking for sound/​alarm/​tint!

By the way, I had just come from Best Buy Wheaton who told me not only would I have to wait a week to get it looked at, but pay $ 180 just to get it diagnosed!!! wtf!?!
They were rude too and seemed like they didn’t care either way about my business. Shame on me for not looking for a real shop first!

This place is amazing the work they do is top notch and the customer service great. If something they install breaks they will find a way to honor the warranty. Please do business with them by any means. It will save you a lot of headache down the road.

I came here maybe about a month ago. Right off the bat I decided to wait how the tint would look. Had 20% on sedan civic. Looked great off the bat and about a month later still looks great. Now I also had a sub and amp install. Reasonable price for install. When I got the car back the job was very sloppy. My trunk opener was not even working and had to go back. About a week later the subs stopped working. Come to realize a week later that they put a bad fuse in the install. The install was very sloppy. The customer service, even from owner Eddy, was terrible. For tint this place is great. Anything else I would go far from the place.

We have a 1987 Corvette, all original parts and we are the original owners. Recently we took it out of storage after 10+ years. After a fresh Maaco paint job we were ready to spiffy up the stereo. I decided to get this stereo installed for my hubby while he was out of town for a week. After emailing Eddy I decided to take it in. Eddy was so nice and assured me that he could make this work (I’d read many blogs that replacing a corvette system is difficult). A few days later I picked it up and we are SO happy with the new system and speakers that he installed. Thanks for helping me make decisions and for the custom job, Eddy!
