Dr. Nguyen is the absolutely best! After I moved to CA, I had previously been treated for 2 years by a dental school and, unfortunately, when I left Boston they gave me a set of retainers which was horrible made and fit improperly and slowly ruined my newly perfect smile. Dr. Nguyen was recommended by the dental school administration in order to correct the problem. He definitely did, he gave me a set of new retainers that fit properly free of charge to make up for the dental school’s prior mistake.
Fast forward 6 months and I lost one of my retainers and Dr. Nguyen gave me a reasonable price on a replacement, ultimately the replacement wasn’t modeled properly and broke the same day I received it but Dr. Nguyen ended up replacing that retainer free of charge.
He’s a great Orthodontist, he’s extremely professional and I always enjoy interacting with him and his office is definitely family friendly.

FIVE STARS! I honestly and truly love Dr. Nguyen and the magic he did on my teeth. I got my braces a couple years back and I was lucky enough to take them off before I entered high school. I am not joking you when I say that everywhere I go, people compliment me for having the best and brightest smile! All the staff are amazing as well and they’re the best staff you’ll ever meet. Everyone is so nice and patient and they really show that they care about you. Dr. Nguyen really did wonders on my teeth and gave me a perfect bite and smile and I can’t thank him enough!

Great orthodontist! I am so grateful to the staff for being patient with me throughout the process and fixing my teeth to give me such a wonderful smile! Now, I don’t ever have to worry about crooked teeth. Prior to having braces, I came here to fix my underbite also. My brother has been here also and had a great experience as well! When my brother’s teeth became messed up after his braces because of his wisdom teeth, Dr. Nguyen redid the braces for my brother free of charge!
The staff is very professional and kind. I would definitely recommend this orthodontist over any other.

For those considering getting braces at an adult age, it’s never too late. Most people usually start in their adolescent stage. I started braces when I was 23 years old and during my consultation I was estimated to have braces for 2.5 years. My upper teeth needed minor treatment while my lower teeth needed a lot of work. However, Dr. Nguyen did his magic and perfected my smile in just 19 months! And now I’m turning 26 in a few days and I’m so ecstatic to show off my new smile! I definitely recommend Dr. Nguyen and his staff!

I was always bothered by my imperfect smiles because everyone of my friends have such perfect teeth, but Doctor Christopher fixed my problem! He is always helpful and understanding, and tried his best to help me.
The staff are always very accommodating to my hectic schedules and any appointment changes were done very efficiently. They didn’t give me any hard times even though I was constantly late. Dr. Christopher Nguyen is the real deal! He is very honest and trustworthy and he does quality work!
I got my braces here when I was in high school and wore them for about 1 ½ years. I was fitted for a retainer and sent on my way with beautiful, straight teeth!
Fast forward 8 years and here I am with buck teeth again — completely 100% my fault for never wearing my retainer, ever. Literally less than 50 times in the past 8 years.
Anyway, I came back for a consultation as my buck teeth have really started to bother me recently and I wanted to ask about Invisalign. Well the good doctor turned me down! He said it would be a complete waste of my money and that my front teeth would always be a problem without a retainer. He told me that I could ask another orthodontist to do it but if they agreed then they would just be scamming me. So instead, I was fitted for a new retainer that the doctor customized to push my teeth back into their desired positions. Came back a week later to make sure my retainer fit and I was good to go!
Can’t wait for my new retainer to work it’s magic and get my grill right again.

Even four years from when I got my braces off, Dr. Nguyen is still there for me! I lost my retainers recently (yes I still wear them) and I had to contact his office again to get a replacement. During my examination, Dr. Nguyen noticed I had a slight gap in my two front teeth. I’ve always noticed it, but I figured there was not much I could do since I already had my braces off for so long. I did not even mention the gap that secretly bothered me– all I was expecting was to get my impressions done so I could wait for my new set of retainers. However, Dr. Nguyen took matters into his own hands and ordered to tighten my retainers to close the gap. I am so thankful! Getting braces is a long journey and it helps if your doctor really pays attention and tailors what treatment would be best suited for your set of teeth. It’s been an awesome experience and I can’t thank my beautiful smile for anyone other than Dr. Nguyen! Really smart guy at envisioning how he wants your teeth to look, speaks English well which is a plus and very very clean and pristine office!
I also commend his work while I was a patient there too. I’m not sure if most orthodontists do this, but Dr. Nguyen takes X-​rays of your teeth throughout your process to examine the progress down to the level of your roots. Most doctors rush into straightening teeth without caring about how the roots are oriented, which will get you with your braces off faster, but it compromises the quality. He’s doesn’t stop at only straightening your teeth! Dr. Nguyen makes sure the roots are straightened as well as your teeth and that is something I know he puts he extra effort and labor upon himself for the patient, not because he is required to. Thanks to his technique he has also changed the profile of my face from before when I had an overbite. He managed to pull my jaw and teeth inwards to make my smile straighter with no overbite rather than having my teeth stick out. It has done wonders to my side profile because my teeth do not rest on my lip, it’s all aligned and proportional. Thank you! I recommend Dr. Nguyen. You will get the quality you deserve having him as your orthodontist. Afterall, you only get one set of teeth so make it count!

Dr. Christopher H. Nguyen is a kind man with great integrity, a huge heart, and is extremely professional. The girl who wrote that vicious review about him clearly didn’t know what she was talking about. I’ve known him since I was a preteen; he was an excellent orthodontist. It’s been a decade since my preteen years, and he still is an upright, honest, caring, and selfless man. He is an even better orthodontist now. He really does want the best care and service for all his patients. He understands my health and financial situations and worked out a plan with me. Hands down the best orthodontist ever!
Plus, you should know that he volunteers to perform surgeries for children with Clef Lip and Clef Palate birth defects in Vietnam. It’s apparent that money is far from his mind; he’s more invested in helping people and providing them with a bright, healthy smile.

My entire family had our braces done here. My children love Dr. Christopher and his beautiful, lovely wife. Dr. Christopher is very Friendly and professional. Office is clean. My lower front teeth had over crowding that made my teeth look like a fan when I smile. He fixed the problem and my teeth came out so beautiful and straight. As for My older daughter, her jaw was too small for her teeth. He had to widen the her jaw and straighten up her teeth. Her results came out beautiful as well. As for my youngest daughter, she’s still in the process. I’m confident that she will get the same result as me and my older daughter. I would definitely recommend Dr. Christopher to anyone who wants to bring their family member in for braces! I truly believe Dr. Christopher put his patients best interest to give them the best results they can get!

Dr. Christopher Nguyen is definitely one of the greatest people I have ever met. There are several reasons for me to recommend him to you, your relatives, or your family members. Graduating from Boston University with a dental degree, he is very knowledgable about every possible scenarios. He put me as his client first and took very good care of me. As a careless patient, I admitted that I broke my brackets accidentally many times, but with a simple call, an emergency appointment was given to me as soon as possible. Additionally, Dr. Christopher trained his workers very well and they were very helpful whenever doctor was not available. Overall, I could not be more happier with my experience at his office.
To those who complained that he did not take good care of your teeth and the process was slow, please do understand that it’s not his fault and he did not intend to keep you with him for extra couple of months for more money. In fact, once you finished your payment with the office, you will not pay any extra fee regarding extra visits in case a delay in the process (of course, there will be an exception of special cases). And regarding the speed of how fast your teeth move, Doctor has no control over that since the shape of the jaw and your bones’ structures are put into account so sometimes, it might take longer than he promised. Other than that, listen to his instruction such as wearing rubber bands correctly, then you should be fine.

My experience with Dr. Nguyen was great. I still remember how friendly everyone working inside was. With the past 2 years and a half that I have been going everyone was extremely nice and work on my teeth really well. I absolutely love my teeth and it feels amazing to be able to smile with straight teeth!

1. This worse doctor had been complained for many cases, people didn’t know that he made them signed on papers without confirming to patients. Christopher H. Nguyen Orthodontic is a tricker blindness, clumsiness manipulating man !!! I didn’t read paperwork. His staff explained to me (Lien) one way different from paperwork that I have signed. After I signed paperwork, she said, I have to pay extra $ 75 each month if my teeth is not done yet after 24 months. Christopher began treating my teeth back in 12÷9÷2010, I deposited and made payment plan 18 months $ 3,500 to get clear rackets, (metal is $ 3,000). He gave me only 6 on top and 6 on bottom clear rackets, and the rest are metal rackets without confirming to me then he said, I need metal rackets to move the teeth.
2. During the treatment he scheduled me to see him every 6 weeks instead of 4 weeks. He tried to extend the time so that he could get more money. My top teeth have only 1 tooth problem which turns sideway, and bottom teeth two of them likely turn overlap which I want to get a perfect teeth. My top teeth he filled two of them very narrow which a change I could get cavities. And bottom teeth he filed five of them in the front, trying to close the gap but he couldn’t, my teeth are getting worse !!!. After 18 months my payment is done ¹⁰⁄₉ /​13. He set top and bottom of my teeth are not alignment, I asked him to take an X-​ray, all my teeth came out vertical shape. He tried to move my mid-​line off I disagreed with him so I had to see several doctors to get second opinions.
3. All of them wanted me to pay full amount as a new patient. I didn’t have money so I went back to let Christopher finishes on my teeth. He waived $ 75 which is inappropriate to charge base on paperwork. For the whole process, he used the wire to force the teeth to move and close the gap. I felt the bottom teeth too tight, sensitive, and hurt I went on-​line for checking. It says improperly, which could cause fracture of the teeth and vertical shape could cause dead of the tooth. On 2÷14÷14, I went in his office an emergency to get bottom teeth check, I requested him unties the wire, and shows my last x-​ray. He showed me someone ‘s else X-​ray and started yelling «I used the wire to hold your teeth not tightening them «!!! and he denied not to treat my teeth, and he wants to charge more money. This blindness doctor doesn’t know how to do his job. I wouldn’t pay any penny.
4. This worse doctor has been treating on my teeth over 3 years, my teeth are getting worse… I never write a review before, but this Orthodontic I have to. He is a rip off doctor and he will harm your teeth without your knowledge. We pay our money to get a result what we want. This is from my experience to share to everyone not going to him to damage your teeth. I ‘m a full time student don’t have money to pay another treatment right now. I reported him to CA Dental Board.
5. This manipulate man is failing by making up his own statement. I have 1 tooth which turns in sideway needs to be treated. He treated it in 2 years didn’t see any different. While he was treating my teeth in 2 years, I shut my mouth off didn’t ask him any questions because I believed that he knew what he was doing. After two years with his treatment, my payment plan was done. he gave me little rubber band to pull my other tooth to make it long from the gum but the tooth doesn’t need to.
6. I get worried that he would charge me more money so I twice used little rubber band trying to turn the tooth that his clumsiness couldn’t treat it in two years. I told him that I did try to turn the tooth but it didn’t work. Then I started questions him that he did somethings wrong all my teeth were shift an angel shape. I had to see several doctors for second opinions; however, they wanted me to pay the full amount as a new patient, I didn’t have money. So I had to come back this blindness clumsiness doctor to finish my teeth. He forced me to sign on paper and he blamed I used rubber band to treat my own teeth and demanded him. If I didn’t sign paper he wouldn’t treat my teeth, and he said that I could ask him questions during the treatment. In this situation, I had to sign. I came in his office an emergency for checking which I felt my bottom teeth sensitive and hurt. He denied for checking and started yelling didn’t want to treat my teeth anymore. This manipulate man even put on my paper he will charge $ 150 for consultation if I decided not to treat with him. This is warned to everyone!!!

Dr. Christopher is an amazing orthodontist. Me and my 2 sisters go to him. I was a patient since 2003. Hes very nice and kind. I myself havent seen him for along time and when my retainer broke he took me in right away to replace it. He really cares for you to have a nice straight smile! I highly recommend him.

Dr. Christopher has stuck with me for 5 yrs and has helped me get this amazing smile that I have now. He has done some amazing things that I thought wouldn’t ever be possible! I highly recommend this well trained and friendly orthodontist :)

I came in really shy about my teeth as it has always been a touchy area for me but after getting my braces off from here I’m not shy about my smile anymore. His staff are all polite, sociable, and helpful.
Dr. Nguyen is only looking for your best interests. I wasn’t all too interested in some surgeries he offered as I didn’t have the money to do them, but he said it’s not too big of a deal. All surgeries are optional and he found different ways to go about fixing my problem.
Two years later I have the best smile thanks to this man. No hassle, no fuss. Very understanding of any problems and very patient.

He noticed every detail on my teeth movement just to get the best result at the end. It was a long wait but of course worth the time.
I’m very picky so even after taking off my braces, I still told him about things that annoyed me. I was doubting he might refuse to do anything about it once the braces were off (like some doctors might). But he didn’t get mad at all and still happily fixed it immediatelly. I would recommend him to anyone who wanna have braces. Others may have good hands as well but I think patience and caring are what actually affect the result the most.

More so, all the staff, along with the assistants and receptionists, they are all very kind and will make you feel at home with every visit. The wait is not too long as well because they are very professional in setting up appointments and schedules, so monthly visits are no big deal at all.
My parents don’t make a lot, but they were able to get both my sisters and me through orthodontic braces here at Dr. C’s office. I’ve also had my cousins get treatment here as well, and we are all satisfied with the end result. The price is very reasonable. Dr. Christopher has personally worked on my teeth as well as several family members listed above in regards to braces and orthodontic care. He is a very professional and straightforward doctor, who is realistic and is sure to take time on you if you are a patient.
I have also worked alongside Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons and have corresponded to and from with the offices of Dr. Christopher. Not only is his staff friendly and professional, they have outstanding customer service and quality service. He is not afraid to refer his patients to other doctors so they may get the best treatment, and also works with other doctors and also the patients themselves so they feel comfortable about the process of getting braces or other types of treatment.
