Established in 2005.

Cole Fabrication Iron Works started out 2005 and has continued to grow to this day. Here is a note from Jacob Cole Owner and designer. I was drawn to welding as a kid, watching my dad create with metal. I spent 5 years studying the art of welding, metal fabrication and black smiting. I’ve been certified by the American welding society on top of being a third generation welder metal fabricator and bring that talent and experience into my metal projects, I am passionate about creating one of a kind metal gates and iron work. I had some minor welding work needed on a metal gate to install an automatic lock. Called these guys up and bam, out the same day with a great crew. Nice guys, very knowledgeable. Jacob (the lead) was full of information about the gate, types of paint I could use, tons of advice on finishing the rest of my project… he did a couple extra spot welds, some touch-​up paint, all without being asked. Not only did the job perfectly but went above and beyond the minimum of what he had to do because he clearly cares about his work, customers and wants to be great at what he does. Couldn’t have gone better! Would definitely recommend these guys. Hey Jacob, I hooked up the lock and it works perfectly!

I have been to Cole Fabrication Iron works a few times now. I had a trailer that I wanted to use as kayak trailer and needed to weld a rack on it. Jacob did a great job and very impressed with his work. I know i paid a fair price and got a great value. I know for sure i will using him in the future.

I have a Toyota Tundra and watched the news and they were saying how people are steeling the catalytic converter of the trucks He welded iron metal along the muffer and exhaust system to protect it from the thief’s. I was very happy with his price and i think he did a great job.

These guys always work exceptionally hard for our business, and they respond quickly when we call. I feel they go above and beyond until the job is finished, and they keep an open flow of communication going to keep us aware of problems, options, and solutions with our iron gate.
This is the second time we’ve called them out, and I was really pleased that they continued to be very helpful, hard working and reliable.

I own a high-​end touring motorcycle. I purchased a trunk for the back of the motorcycle that was not made by the manufacturer of the bike. So I needed some unique metal fabrication to allow installation. I had several ideas which I discussed with Jacob. He thought about the job for a while and came up with a plan that exceeded what I had envisioned. He carefully explained what he wanted to do and how it would enhance the look of the motorcycle, gave me a fair price, then set my expectations for how long the job would take. Jacob exceeded my expectations in all areas. He even suggested to have the metal adapter plate he designed to be powder coated to match the paint job on the bike. Then he delivered the finished product on time and on budget. The finished product with the trunk installed looks gorgeous on the motorcycle. No one believes that the trunk did not come with the bike. I even took it to the shop where I purchased the motorcycle and they said it looks just like it was made for this motorcycle. If I ever have any other metal fabrication jobs to be done i would not hesitate to go back to Jacob. Quality work from a quality individual.

Jacob is a great tradesman, but more importantly, he is a man of his word! we had some issues come up that were unforeseen, admittedly I bit off a little more than I could chew, and he made numerous trips out to my house to get the job done on his own dime! He helped me get my fence completed even though our contract simply stated that all he had to do was drop off the supplies and go. He knew I was in over my head and made sure that I was happy with the final project. It did take longer than I had hoped, but that was my fault, not his. I recommend Jacob to anyone in need of iron fencing, gates, welding, etc.

We have had to spend $ 500 repairing and shoring up an inferior welding job for a trailer hitch that originally cost us $ 250 from Cole Fabrication. Would not recommend for any welding other than decorative.

We are very, very pleased with the work that Jacob did for us recently. This was, for us, a substantial project. My wife drew up (on paper) a custom iron fence for a patio project. Jacob sat down with us and went over what we wanted in a patient and thorough way. He also shared his considerable experience and insight with us, which we appreciated. In the end, his work was brilliant. Perfect! It is truly a work of art. We couldn’t be happier with it. Jacob is sharp, professional, and fast. His skills and advice are pretty much amazing. He also showed me the quality of the powdercoating that he recommended, which turned out, again, to be perfect.
In sum, we are happy to give Jacob our highest recommendation. His work is of the highest quality, and he is professional and fast. What else could you ask for? We look forward to working with him again soon.

We purchased a trailer that needed a second deck for our two Go-​Karts. After discussing the project with him, we knew we went with the right guy for the job! Not only did he build the second deck, but he also added a lot of features we weren’t expecting! He definitely made sure we wouldn’t be disappointed in the job.
It’s pretty cool when we roll up to the track and we get the looks from other people wanting to know who did the work!

I purchased an antique full brass bed recently and needed to have the rails extended to fit a queen mattress set. Out of the four places I called, Cole Fabrication was the only place that seemed interested in doing it — and for a reasonable price.
The owner, Jacob, is great. I dropped off the rails on Saturday afternoon and picked them up Monday afternoon. He welded in matching steel extensions that matched the existing metal perfectly. I didn’t need the welds polished/​grinded down as they would not be visible; he did it anyway. For safe measure he added a second weld on the inside of the L-​bend to ensure strength.
The cost was $ 100.00 and he guarantees the welds will hold for life. If not, he will re-​weld them for free. So, if you’re in the Sacramento area and want to convert your antique metal bed by extending its length, give him a call. He’s great!
I’ll certainly use CF again for other house projects as they come up. It’s a great family-​run business!
