Sienna did a great job with my wedding dress. Absolutely fantastic, I would definitely recommend her for any work related to wedding attire. Over the course of 3 – 4 visits, she was very attentive to detail, expertly tailoring the dress perfectly for my body shape. Sienna also made me a beautiful wrap to go with the dress, since it was an outdoor, fall wedding. The bustle was intricate and beautiful, but also easy to understand since she took the time to number all of the corresponding buttons and hooks. My bridesmaids certainly appreciated it!
The price was much more expensive than I thought it would be, but Sienna did have to take it in 3 sizes since the shop I bought it from pushed me to get a size that was far too large. High quality tailoring comes with higher costs, but I did ultimately feel it was worthwhile.

Wow, where to start?! I was maid of honor for my friend’s wedding on October 17^th, and the original tailor she brought her dress to completely botched it by the first fitting. Too much material taken off making the dress way too revealing, completely uneven hem along the bottom. Not only that, but they were so rude, wouldn’t let her try on a couple different pairs of shoes to make final choice, and pushed her out after 30 minutes. I found Sienna after doing some research, and easily made an appointment for me and my friend the following week.
Working with Sienna was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. We were given all the time we needed (And we needed it! On one visit, I brought my friend 17 pairs of shoes to try on, no joke!), she listened to exactly what each of us wanted for our dress alterations, and she miraculously totally fixed the botch job the other tailor did. When we first went in, my friend was convinced she’d need to scramble to find a new wedding dress with just 30 days time, and after just a couple visits, she had a gorgeous dress that looked as though it was made just for her. My bridesmaids’ dress came out great, too, as did a pair of jeans that needed hemming that I threw into the mix.
I can’t thank Sienna enough for her great work, patience, and professionalism. She knows exactly how to make each person feel beautiful through decades of experience. I recommend her to anyone needing help with fit & alterations, not only with a wedding dress but your every day clothes as well.

Where do I start? Sienna is amazing. I came into Sienna with a short time frame, as my original dress ordered came in a few weeks late on an already small time window, and then the dress came in wrong so I had to search for a new dress, leaving Sienna a very short amount of time for alterations. She altered the new dress within a short amount of time per my needs, and the dress fit me like a glove! Everyone commented on how well the dress fit my body, and it’s all thanks to Sienna’s perfect job. She was really easy to book appointment times with, and so nice and easy to work with. I wouldn’t recommend ANYone else for your big day!

Sienna is amazing and a life saver!!! It was two weeks before my wedding and I got my dress back from the alterations place I went to in Boston and it was completely botched! I thought for sure that it could not be fixed and that I would have to go out and buy another dress. The train on the dress was completely crooked and they used these huge white buttons that stuck out and were very visible. I had asked that they added full straps under the lace straps of the dress and they were off center, crooked, and looked like they had just thrown a piece of fabric under the lace and called it a day. I also asked to have it taken in (as I lost a lot of weight prior to the wedding) but he said that it didn’t need to be taken in and that it was good to have some extra moving room). The dress hung on me like a moo moo and I was completely heart broken when I saw the outcome (and had to pay). I knew I couldn’t walk down the aisle in this so I looked up reviews on Unilocal to see if I could find someone to fix the issue. I found Bridal Fashions in Wayland, called them up and they were able to get me in that morning! I went over with my FMIL and met with Sienna who was so helpful. She promised that she would fix my dress and have it done that week (even took it in 2 inches on each side!) I went to pick up my dress at the end of the week and began crying with joy the second I saw the dress. Not only did she fix the problems created by the previous seamstress but I truly felt that I looked the way I had always imaged I would on my wedding day. Sienna, THANK YOU SO MUCH for saving the day! I wish I had gone to you in the first place!

I have been going to Sienna for YEARS. She has always done a phenomenal job and she always asked me if I was going to get married… So when I finally got engaged and found a dress, it was an obvious choice of where I was going to take it for alterations. Sienna did an amazing job on my wedding gown. She suggested a type of bustle that was much more in-​style with the dress than I had requested and it turned out wonderfully. Her prices are reasonable. As with any tailor, you need to be able to tell the person what you’re looking for… if you can do that, Sienna takes care of the rest! (You know, the hard part ;-)

Great shop. Great to know you can rely on the work being done right the first time!
Will be using Sienna from now on for all my alteration needs.

I brought my mother of the bride dress here because it was recommended by the bridal salon across the street where I purchased the dress. It was a Watters in a gorgeous dupioni silk — a very lovely dress. I knew Sienna had done a very poor job when I tried it on and I should have spoken up but I didn’t — she has a domineering manner and I’m ashamed to admit I became timid. Of course, the wedding has come and gone and now that I’ve seen the photos, I’m kicking myself for being unassertive. It’s hard to imagine the dress being more shapeless and less flattering. I’m slim and I don’t think I presented any unusual challenges. The alterations didn’t flatter my shape AT ALL. In the end, the waist was way too loose and the bust area too tight. The skirt was similarly not tailored well. To cap it all off, strangely she left the braid embellishment so loose it’s a wonder it didn’t fall off. Although I’m mystified, I gather from a couple of the reviews here Sienna has some talent and skill. You would never know it from my experience. In a nutshell, I would never recommend you go to this shop for alterations.

Sienna, the owner, is amazing! I found her when looking to have my daughters wedding dress altered. Sienna was always welcoming and accommodating. The workmanship is impeccable. My daughter was so delighted with the alterations that she recommended Sienna to all of her bridesmaids.
We’ve gone to Bridal Fashion Alterations for all of our prom dress alterations, as well as a second wedding.
I would highly recommend Sienna. She makes you feel at ease during what can be a stressful, yet exciting, occasion.

If I could give this place less than a star I would… I had the most horrible experience with Sienna. I bought my wedding dress at Occasions across the street who refereed me to Sienna sating that she’s «the best». They even called her before I bought the dress and she re-​assured me that the change that I wanted was not a problem. she gave me an estimate on the price and we scheduled the first fitting after the dress arrived. Since then, everything went wrong. First, she denied saying that the she could make the change I initially requested (which was the reason I bought the dress), she changed the price every fitting, and from one fitting to another my dress looked worse. She was rude during the fitting, yelling at me and my friend, and leaving us alone, and doing other alterations. After I complained at the boutique, they called her, and at the following fitting she was nicer. I decided to give it another try and hoped that the next fitting would be the last. I was socked to find out the dress looked even worse. I took the dress to someone else who had to re-​do the whole dress (about 1000 $ to fix what she ruined). NOT professional, rude. Would not recommend her or the boutique to anyone.

No one does a better job with more complicated alterations than Sienna. Simply put, she is the best. In one of many examples, she took a very complicated gown, with a completely beaded top, and made it perfect for my wife. To do so, she pretty much had to take it apart and reconstruct it… a considerable accomplishment, but that’s what Sienna does.

Sienna is perfection. Let me tell you why :)
I brought a very expensive Amsale bridesmaids dress here. I got the dress for a great price, but knowing the quality I was TERRIFIED to let anyone touch it. I had to get a dress 2 sizes too big to accommodate 1. my 6 month pregnant belly 2. my ridiculously large breasts. I’m not afraid to admit you have to get through half the alphabet to get to my bra size. Anyhow, after having expensive and non-​impressive alterations done at David’s Bridal (you get what you pay for) I was brought into Bridal Fashions to see Sienna (alone with the gorgeous bride, her gorgeous dress, and the other gorgeous maid of honor).
I tried the dress on and after the laughter in the room subsided and my bra removed (the bust was ridiculous) Sienna came up with a solution. She cut fabric from the bottom to add to the bust and also added a gorgeous strap to the girls didn’t fall out. I wasn’t sure about how it was going to come out but when I returned for the dress it fit to a T. My breasts looked classy and proportionate. You’ll never be able to tell it’s been altered. She did great work, fast and worth the money. She was so nice and really knows her stuff. She altered the bride’s gown and I’ve never seen anything more stunning in person before.
CASH OR CHECK ONLY. I’m writing it big so you know. Is it an inconvenience for you? Having a crappy alteration would be worse. Let glitter fingers do her stuff and be packin with cash. They’ll let you know what it will cost if you call.
The establishment itself is simple but look past it and realize that you have truly found a GEM. A rarity. Hard to find, but when you do you know you’ll never get your alterations done anywhere else! She should be working on Newbury Street for some ridiculously overpriced fashion studio but she’s not. She’s right at our fingertips. I’m looking forward to her getting these glamorous can-​cans into many other dresses in the future.

Sienna does wonderful work and at reasonable prices. She is very pleasant and extremely customer focused. Would recommend her highly!

Sienna is the BEST. I have taken all of my bridesmaids dresses and other formal gowns to her and have been 100% satisfied every time. Her turnaround is quick — she will work with your schedule. I’ve had dresses taken in, hemmed, let out, boning removed, etc., and every time the outcome is perfect. I recommend her to all my friends and family. She is also very funny, and always throws out a great compliment exactly when you need one. I don’t go anywhere else for alterations.
My only complaint is that she only accepts cash or check. Other than that, 5 stars!!!
