Always Elegant Bridal Fashion

I have had three separate wonderful experiences at Always Elegant! I brought in a long dress that needed to be shortened but the material was very thin and delicate. The owner finished the alteration within one day and it was perfect. I then got more adventurous and brought in a suit of my husband’s. He is very broad shouldered but very skinny everywhere else and suits tend to hang on him. I originally only brought in the pants to be let out 2 inches and I didn’t even know if this was possible. She took one look at the pants and said it would be no problem and the cost was extremely reasonable. I sent my husband back in to try them on when it was time to pick them up and asked that he bring his suit jacket with him. The owner measured him and basically turned the suit jacket into a custom fit. We had a family event the following week and my husband never looked so good in a suit. I am so thrilled that I found this alteration shop. The price is more reasonable than several in the neighborhood and the workmanship is top notch.

I have nothing but great things to say. A few years ago I came here to get my wedding dress altered. It was a very complicated dress and they did a wonderful job. Just recently I had to have a bridesmaids dress altered and I thought of no other place but here and sure enough she did a wonderful job yet again. Very accommodating to my needs and had the dress ready in no time! Highly recommend coming here for all of your alterations!

I don’t know where Heather T went but I went with a bridal party Always Elegant Bridal Fashion and it was a fantastic process. The woman who works there is extremely good at her job. She is the type of woman who could look at you and know your size.
The bride I was with had an extremely intricate dress with beading and lace work. She had to do a lot of alterations in the lace work area and it was seamless. She reattached the sequins and beads from sections she cut out so it didnt’ look like anything had even been done to the dress.
She quickly did the bridesmaid dresses as they did not need a lot of work done.
English is her second language, but she is very clear on pricing and explaining what she is doing so it was not a barrier. All and all and extremely pleasant experience.

DO NOT bring your wedding gown here. First, they write their own reviews on CitySearch… shouldve known. I had to have my dress completely redone because the woman here left all of the fabric inside! she did not «stitch». The alterations place i brought it to fix told me they couldnt believe this woman was even in business judging by my dress. I had to buy new shoes for my wedding because for some reason, eventhough I tried my dress on with them when it was being altered, she managed to hem it 1 – 2 inches shorter. She is VERY opinionated. to the point where its extremely annoying. the skirt of my gown was 3 sizes too big and she kept telling my it would be «UGLY» if I had her pull it in to fit me. Awful experience. You’ll regret it if you go here.
