Full of Beans offers amazing one of a kind items that are great quality. My daughter loves coming into this store because there is a stack of books she can read and toys she can play with while I browse. I have found some of my kids’ favorite clothes here… they are all soft, durable and super cute. I love this store and the people in there are always so friendly and helpful. never pushy. thanks!!!

Full of Beans simply has the best selection of very beautiful, cool and desirable kids’ clothes in the area. Mare Hutchens, the owner, has wonderful taste in selecting her stock (much of it made by small manufacturers in the United States) – and a great sense of humor. The store has a great atmosphere, and some days just feels like a party.

Lessons learned upon stepping into this upscale Chevy Chase baby boutique: a) baby clothing is adorable (do you have this in MY size?!) b) baby clothing is incredibly expensive. Once you get over the sticker shock, you will find yourself marveling at all of the tiny little pieces the store offers. I was in recently shopping for a coworker who was having a girl and couldn’t help myself from indulging in their Dwell baby line. They also had some absolutely gorgeous linen and crocheted items that were a nice return to the simple girlish clothing babies wear vs. the trendy, synethetic clothing of the now.
My boyfriend’s sister just had a little boy and I can’t wait to stop in and get him the adorable trucks & tools PJ set… really, if you’re a person who loves little kids and tiny little clothing, its hard to walk away from this sweet little store empty handed!
Also– they do a fabulous job wrapping the gifts for you at no extra charge. For those of us who are gift wrap impaired this is a GREAT extra!

Feel the need to have the kid in your life to wear some hip threads? If so, Full Of Beans is your store. I shop here mostly for my friend’s daughters birthdays and such. I was not nor will ever be a «girlie girl» but, thankfully, Full of Beans has lots of cute pink stuff that is not too frilly.
In fact, the clothes here are fun and functional. There are toys here too, as well as diaper bags, baby slings, bibs, and toys. The store is small, but unlike a toddler’s closet, it is organized well. All clothes are divided up into size (infant to boys and girls size 16).
