History

Established in 2013.

Owned by Ferrall Dietrich, a Washington D.C. native and current resident of Chevy Chase, MD, the boutique brings to Washington a range of distinctive active wear and lifestyle fashions sourced from a hand-​picked group of manufacturers — all highly respected in the active wear industry and many owned and operated by and for women.

Business Owner

As an avid outdoorswoman, Ferrall Dietrich has years of hands-​on experience with many of the products and accessories that are carried at Core72. She has competed non-​professionally in hundreds of off-​road races — from multi-​day adventure races to ultra marathons to equestrian endurance rides. She spent months camping and trekking throughout Asia and the Himalayas with her husband Mike, and most recently racked up a total of 30,000 miles on the road, camping with her boys and dogs across the United States over three summers.

Ferrall draws so much joy and inspiration from being outdoors and exploring — whether on a daily trail run in the woods or on a 2 month camping trek. Being outside makes her feel like she is 12 again, returning home a little dirtier but much calmer and happier and more at peace having left behind for a few moments the chaos of the day to day.
