The food was really good. We had fish Jun, meat Jun and soft tofu soup. This place is good enough especially when you circle around half the island looking for something to eat. Highly recommend!

非常好吃的韓國餐廳!!! We’ve been in Hawaii for a week and this is by far the best food we’ve had. The restaurant is not located in a shiny place so we weren’t expecting much. But man oh man! Isn’t the food gooooood! I had kimchi soup lunch and my bf had spicy pork meal. Coming from Asia, I can tell ya, the food we had is so authentic. Just writing this review makes me want to go back for more. :)

We both were enticed to have the Ahi Belly, which — at $ 9, lunch — was also probably the most value-for-money. It had rice, vegetables, two sauces, and a very generous helping of fish. I ate everything but the lemon rind. My colleague felt similarly satisfied. The staff, a lady named Jadan, was increasingly warm as time progressed.

Really the food deserves 4 stars but you have to subtract somewhat for the environment. I got the ribs(Kalbi) and wow were they good. The price is pretty good as well. The local seems a little shady with a homeless man hanging out at the front door but if you can get past that you’ll love the food.

This place is a great relaxing environment. No matter when or what time I come in, there is always a family or friend in here. Beautiful place for all these beautiful waimanalo people to see each other. Great and large amounts of food. Love their fish jun. Bartenders and quick and efficient. But usually the ones behind the counters always look pissed off or irritated. Other than that, I love the country atmosphere.

A bar in Waimanalo? Yeah, I was scared too. I came for lunch though, so it was a lot less intimidating. They have several pictures of yummy korean food in the windows too, and I was hungry, so that helped. Although there are tourists usually walking around the little waimanalo center, I didn’t see any inside Ohana. I was surprised that the restaurant/bar was brightly lit. They were also playing food network on one of the TVs! It was much appreciated as I’m not really a football fan. The food? The food was surprisingly excellent. I ordered the soft tofu soup, expecting the spicy red soup with tofu. It wasn’t exactly what I was expecting, but it was spicy and delicious. It came with rice and banchan veggies, too! All for like $ 10, what a deal! I also tried some of my boyfriend’s kalbi. It was some of the best kalbi I’ve ever had! The banchans were nothing spectacular and you can’t choose which ones you want with your meal. The service was attentive and out food came out quickly. There is plenty of parking and I’ll probably be back for more kalbi :)

Went for a bike ride and decided to stop in and grab a bite to eat. This was our second time here, and again, we were very happy and satisfied with what we ordered. We shared a plate of Beef Jun and other sides, and the food was very fresh and excellent. The Meat Jun tasted really homeade, not so much like typical Meat Jun dishes, so that was great. The bartender was very friendly. We’ll be back!!!

You would not expect such a fun place to be in Waimanalo! This Karaōke Bar recently went under renovations. When you walk in, you would not expect such a clean and stylish place from the outside. Even the bathrooms are clean. Ohana is an open community Karaōke bar, which is the perfect setting for Waimanalo. Tables are wide and can accommodate large groups. There’s a band area. A dance floor area. Large flat screen televisions. And the service is quality and family-feel. Definitely lived up to their brand name. Prices are like any bar for drinks. Next time I’ll be trying the food and will update this Unilocal review as well.

Located in the Waimanalo Town Center, this place has some great Korean Food. Oh and the karaōke, darts, pool table and sports. =) Korean owned this is the same one that used to be in Kailua. The service is great and the mama san is awesome. She comes out to meet you and say hi if she has time. Typically, I head here for lunch since its not as crowded. You will find the die hard regulars who are sitting at the bar drinking, but like most bar/grills that is to be expected. I have on numerous occasions ordered thing that wasn’t on the menu. If you know Korean food, the mama san will generally be able to make it. I had a feeling she had those hidden items for her friends or for herself. So it doesnt hurt to ask and see if she has your special Korean dish. Check out the new Jukebox that is digital. It becomes a photobooth as well, which you can email the pictures from. I just had to try it since I really didnt want to head back to work just yet. I recommend this place if you are in the area. There isnt much choice in the area so go and find this hidden place in the shopping center.

Even though the karaōke wasn’t working when we went because of internet issues, the good was amazing. The drinks were strong and the staff was extremely cordial and friendly. Highly recommend.

Apparently I’m the first review. Although, I’m not surprised. The clientele is mostly older local folk. I wanted to get an island-y drink, but they didn’t have piña colada mix, so I went with a strawberry daiquiri. That in itself, was fine… They’re a local bar and they don’t usually have tourists to cater to. The thing that surprised me was this– It’s a Korean bar but doesn’t have soju… The server told us they’re trying to get soju in, especially because the local trend is watermelon soju. The owners were sitting at a table near us, throwing back soju shots! –_____– It’s not a typical Korean karaōke bar, that has private rooms. It’s more like an American karaōke bar, where you sing in front of everyone. It’s just a chill place and nothing special. But it’s great if you want cheap drinks!!!
