Great huli huli chicken. The reason for a 2 star Now if you are local you know how the huli huli chicken has gone up in price… But then again prices has gone up. So this is why customer service is very important at least it is to me. The thing about being local in Hawaii is we all have the aloha Spirit. But I have to say I have been stoping at this place from day 1 that they have started selling at this location. Customer service was great… The friendly warm welcome and smile that’s the local way greeting and thanking. Well that aloha feeling is gone. Now it seems as if the establishment is doing us the customers a favor that koala chicken is there… Well I can take my money else where and give to another establishment. That appreciate my business !!

I’m writing this as I selfishly eat ALL of the Kim Chee by myself at 9:30 pm, it’s SOGOOD! Today was the second time I went here and after this, the first time seems a blur. The service here was so fast and friendly. Local people cooking up chicken and serving it to the masses with a smile is what I saw. I just picked up a whole chicken for dinner, $ 11. Small kine steep but when I ate it, SOWORTHIT! You can get a whole, ½ or quarter by itself or in a plate that comes with toss salad or they also offered a chicken salad with a house made ume dressing. Lines were 3 deep but moved quickly. I didn’t see a credit card machine so bring cash. Ok, let’s get to the taste. Chicken flavor is outstanding. It’s a little saltier than most but it’s got that Smokey-Hawaiian flavah and is just broke-da-mouth Ono! It’s juicy but not oily cause ey, those birds are in a 24⁄7 rotation. The juices are like locked in! They also sell Kim Chee and daikon. I LOVE Kim Chee so I picked up a medium container for $ 3. Kim Chee is an acquired taste for you non-Koreans and this one… I think it would definetly pass true Korean flavor inspection. Salty, SPICY, hotter than the what I now feel is the generic tasting one you get from Pearl’s or Yummy BBQ. I’m going back next weekend for sure. This is my new Sunday dinner!

I’ve had better chicken dish. The only good was the kimchee. I personally thought the chicken has a little after taste and smelt weird. Won’t go again
