Looking for lines to get a lane… this is the bowling alley. Environment is super chill and relaxing. Its not like other alleys where you feel like everybody is drunk and obnoxious. Prices aren’t bad…5 dollar for per person, per game. 2 dollar for shoe rental.

Place sucks. Doesn’t deserve a star at all. Air con doesn’t work well and when we asked to bring a fan closer they said no. Water bottles aren’t allowed and they don’t have a fountain so you’re basically forced to buy water. Staff is horrible! The young Japanese bartender doesn’t even look old enough to be serving and she’s awfully rude. Definitely not worth rock it bowling. $ 5 a game… music sucks(hard to hear and not kid friendly) Aiea is definitely better!

This place was the WORST bowling place I have ever been to. The dude at the front desk was rude and wasn’t helpful at all. I’m visiting from Portland, OR with my family and our friend who lives here took us just to hangout and have fun bowling to end the night. His customer service was TERRIBLE. I won’t forget him because he has an ACURA tattoo on his left arm in Old English font. My brother who is 12 has never bowled before and I told him to start with the lighter balls and gradually go heavier to find the ball that will suit him. The Acura tattoo dude spoke on the intercom saying that the guys need to stop using the lighter balls, & obviously he was referring to my brother because there was only one other lane open in use and they only had heavy bowling balls in their lane for them to use. My brother couldn’t use the lighter bowling balls because the light balls are for little kids and women only. He NEVER mentioned that to us. So he waved at my brother to come to the front desk to talk to him. When my brother came up the first thing he asked was if my brother was deaf. DEAF?! Seriously?! He didn’t even care that it was my brothers first time bowling. PLUS, there was a guy who was older than my brother who used a 6LB ball when my brother only used 8LB, and the dude NEVER spoke over the intercom. No matter how many times I come to this island, I will never come back nor would i recommend this place to someone. I would give this place zero stars if I could.

This place is pretty terrible. It’s not even busy, but me and my friend stood behind a group of people talking to the girl for like 20 minutes. The place is small, everything is cash only(cause you can’t afford a credit machine ?), the service seems unfriendly in the lounge. There’s no beer on tap? At a bar environment? Almost all the video game machines were out of order and the place smelled bad. Do not go here. Even if you can get a lane, everything looks dirty and their screens look like a bad video game from the 70s.

Went here for the fourth or fifth time this summer. The main thing I want to point out about Pali Lanes is the poor customer service. The guy that’s usually working at the front with the tattoo on his right arm is always so unfriendly. We got to Pali Lanes and as we were walking in the same unfriendly worker was outside smoking and told us we’d have to wait before he would help us. When we started playing the lane wasn’t functioning correctly so we told that same worker and he got pissed off at us and thought we were messing around. This place would be so much better with a new person working at the front with a good attitude and customer-oriented mindset.

Cashier was horrible. Wouldn’t let us pay separately for our games and shoes and had a horrible attitude. Would not recommend

Be careful! I’ve gone to Pali Lanes many times, mainly just to have some drinks at the bar. Hole-in-the-wall type place. Drinks are cheap. There is always a good crowd singing kareoke. But be careful, this is a locals bar. About 20 locals tried to jump me and my friends last time we went. Not going back.

Pali Lanes is fun. Decently priced but it’s an outdated place for sure. There has been a time or two when our lane just keeps messing up but they always get it resolved. Their shoes are good, some of their bowling balls should be swapped out though. I enjoy coming here with friends and what not. The speakers are pretty loud when they turn it up for the Rock-It Bowling.

Okay, so Pali Lanes is one of the only bowling allies left on the island. It’s a pretty popular place on the windward side, and I’m glad I had the chance to check it out. I went at night, when they have cosmic bowling. It’s a little more run down than other bowling alleys I’ve been to, especially when compared to those on the mainland, but when it’s dark, I guess you can’t really tell. Don’t expect fancy bathrooms or computer systems that display the scores, either. There’s a little concession stand that sells snacks as well as full plate lunches. The night I went, I ate dinner here and ordered the pipikaula plate. It was surprisingly good for bowling alley food, but doesn’t really compare to aiea bowl’s award winning unfortunately. It’s cool that you can eat closer to the lanes, behind the seats, so that you can sit and eat nearby while the rest of your party takes turns bowling. Prices are comparable to other places and there is always plenty of parking. The workers are surprisingly friendly, too.

I just went here for my friend’s birthday party, and WHOA, it took me back like 20 years. LoL. Everything was so nostalgic because I don’t think anything has really been upgraded since the 1990s. Which is a good thing sometimes… I enjoyed my time bowling and my friends did too because there is a bar you can order drinks from. Of course for those with young kids can use the bumper and roll-down-the-ball-thingy. If I ever wanna feel like I’m back in the 1990s, I know where to go.

I think I’ve only really bowled at Pali Lanes just once, but I’ve ended up in the bar and karaōke room on many occasions. The drinks and songs are cheap, which always makes it a fun time with friends. Good place to sing the night away! If you feel like bowling, the alley is just a few steps away and there is cosmic bowling on Saturday nights. Pali Lanes is cash only, and there is an ATM on site.

CASHONLY!!! For everything: food, shoes, lanes, karaōke, etc… This bowling alley is pretty small but it’s what I’m used to growing up. It’s not in the best shape, it barely has enough balls, and there’s definitely no «bells and whistles» but it suffices. I love coming here when I’m in Kailua for a few really cheap games with my brother so I can’t complain too much! It works with what it’s got! No fancy alley is gunna help my subpar scores anyway.

This place is still rollin’ Probably one of the last bastions of old Kailua remaining before Kaneohe Ranch’s fire sale that has turned K-town into Waikiki jr. With frescoes of sea and beach life from the late Ron Artis on the walls, this place looks like Kailua of 10 years ago. A great place to take the keiki with relatively reasonable rates. Four can bowl for under $ 20 per game. Nothing beats bad bowling alley food! Nothing like nostalgia of being 12 like big crinkly fries and a reconstituted cheeseburger. All pretty cheap here too. After nine they have disco light bowling for a slightly higher rate. If any of you city council dorks are reading this, do whatever you can to keep this place intact. When families have no where else to go, that’s when the community starts to diminish. Another plus is there are no tourists in site here. Charley don’t bowl!!!
