I used to go here all the time but I won’t anymore.
They have changed the interface at the pump to make it more misleading and make more people buy the car wash unintentionally! I was here last night and had no intention of buying a car wash. Earlier, the interface at the pump would ask you explicitly if you wanted a car wash and then what type of car wash you wanted. Now, it does not ask you if you want one and just pops up the screen asking what type of car wash you want. I was in a rush and thought it was asking what type of gas I wanted and chose premium. A split second later, I realized that maybe this was for the car wash but did not have a way go back and look and cancel if needed. It gets better… After I was done, I was waiting for the receipt but instead of printing it at the pump, I get a message that it said that if I wanted the receipt, I need to get it from the clerk inside.
When I went in and got it, lo and behold, it included the car wash. I told him I was happy to pay for the gas discount I received because of the car wash but did not want the car wash. The cashier refused to give me a refund. I was too tired to have an argument with the guy. Wonder how many people have unintentionally bought the car wash and left without realizing it because they did not get the receipt. This business is designed to mislead customers, not entirely sure if it is intentional or not. Either case, SHAME ON THEM!

I like this place. Sometimes I get lucky to get a real good deal on their gas prices. It’s convenient and wide enough to be a good parking lot. There’s enough space for everyone and even it it’s busy, the pump is fast enough to have everyone not to wait too long. It’s a good gas station and not to mention they have a car wash too? Nice!!!

Where else are you gonna find premium unleaded in the bay area for $ 3.59?
Every penny counts when your tank is 22 gallons!

This gas station is pretty gay except for the car wash, however if any other GS had a car wash I would never go here, the gas pumps really fast but at the end it has a screen asking you if you want a shell CC and it takes foreeeeeeeeeeeever to get off the screen therefore making the wait time very loooooooong

This is your typical Shell Gas Station. Usually getting gas or buying snacks inside the store are quick and painless. It sits at a 4 corner stop with 2 other gas stations on opposite corners, but the only one with a car wash, so thats a plus… ONLY when the car wash works…
Long story short the car wash was not working properly for a truck in front of me, worked for another car but then not us. Apparently the machine is broken, and you have to put your code in right before you go in, not while you’re waiting. Otherwise you enter the car wash. nothing happens and you have to get back out and get back in line. When we tried to explain that to the worker, he treated us like a bunch of idiot girls who don’t know how to use the car wash, (which makes no sesnse because the guy in the truck went through at least 2 times w/​o it working). The he had to help the girl ahead of us… He was talking to her like she didn’t understand English. I do give him props though for getting INTO her driver seat when she wasn’t able to get out of the car wash. But seriously dude. Treat your customers with respect!
