Oceanfront Pest Control

So, here’s what happened. I had these folks out to my home to spray for bugs, particularly silverfish late last November (2015). The guy came over and was very nice and informative. He did his spray thing and all seemed in good order. In December, about 3 weeks after the guy had sprayed I started noticing dead silverfish in the master bath. I should have called them but like everyone else I was overwhelmed by the Christmas holiday. And I kept seeing (every week or so) dead silverfish here and there. I let January go by without calling, again, my fault. But, today I had a silverfish, alive and well, the likes of which I’ve never seen. This guy was HUGE. So I killed him/​her and called Oceanfront. When they sprayed my house 70 days ago, I was told there was a 60 day guarantee. I told the woman who answered the phone my problem, apologized for not calling in January but explained that there was evidence of a continuing problem even back to December. «Well, I’m sorry, but you are out of warranty so we can come back and spray again for $ 175.00». Really? By 10 days? Even though I started seeing a recurrence of bugs within 21 days? If a company can’t or won’t stand by their services, they just aren’t worth doing business with.

We recently hired Oceanfront to investigate problems with rodents in the attic. Lucas was the one who came to our house. There are lot of things I liked about him and the company. First it starts off with his professionalism, honesty, and cleanliness. When he first arrived, he started with a complete research of the house, roof, backyard (all outside), analyzed the source of the problems and gave me a clear explanation on where the rodents are mostly and how they are entering the attic. He then did a full analysis of attic and the damage there. I was shocked to hear from him that the damage is minimal. Because the company who was servicing my house then told me exact opposite and said that I have severe damage to attic, have to change insulation etc.
Lucas gave a quote and the service model he uses, which includes multiple visits to make sure that the problem was resolved. I also want to add a note about how he always takes off his shoes when coming inside the house. Such small things show how he professional he is and the valued services he wants to provide to his customers.
Sure enough, Lucas delivered on his service and my rodent issues have gone away in less than 4 weeks.
I would recommend OceanFront to anyone for pest control with no second thoughts. You will not regret calling them.

We were given a used fridge that, unbeknownst to us, was infested with German Roaches. Ick Ick Ick. I called around and these guys were most affordable and guaranteed their work for 2 months.
Lucas came out and sprayed everything, disposed of infested materials (after asking my permission) and fogged the space. He told us if we saw *any* roaches in a week to call him back. We saw one and called him. He came right back out and re sprayed the entire house for free. Both visits he was courteous, professional and efficient.

Friendly, honest, on time, and fair priced. I’ve been using Oceanfront for 5 years now. We’ve had ants and wasps and one visit gets rid of them all.

I’ve been using these guys for a couple years now, and I’m still impressed by their excellent and professional services, so much that I will be using them to control my ant issues every year.
The first year I used them I had absolutely no ants for a whole year. Can you say effective? I was shocked their treatment lasted so long. This year, due to the extreme heat, I needed to get a re-​treatment done, and with their 2 month guarantee, this was done for me for free. Lucas has been very good to me, and was very professional and courteous over the phone when I addressed the second treatment with him.

How: 2 hours for the extermination and an add’l hour to make sure the air is good again. We read from a previous review that moving the furniture away from the wall would be helpful, so this is probably a good idea if you want to get into every nook and cranny.

The best part was, the guys who came were very respectful of my cultural rules and took their shoes off when treating my house. They were right on time and very reliable. This is as good as it gets! This is an update to my previous 5-​star review. Andy and his brother have been coming to our house for a few years now. And they continue to do an excellent job! Andy just came out to our new house and is always so friendly and professional. Whenever our 2-​year old daughter sees ants or any bugs, she always says, «Call Mr. Andy!» Thanks Andy!

Lucas is by far the most reliable and honest person we have had for Pest Control services. Can’t say enough good things about this company. We had ant problems, spider problems and then bird mites! Lucas came over within the week and sprayed inside and outside. Couldn’t help with the bird mites, but did what he can to help and recommended another company to tent with viking gas. Great price and always friendly and on time all the time!

My husband and I contacted Oceanfront Pest Control and an appointment was made for the very next day. The entire process was very fast, approximately 15 minutes. We were given a warranty stating that if we saw any pests within two months from the first spray, they would come back to our house and spray again, no charge. After about a month, my husband saw a pest inside our house, and immediately contacted Oceanfront. They were more than happy to send someone out as soon as possible. Since then, we have had no problems with any pests!

Called in for an estimate regarding a flea problem that I have in my backyard and the girl that answered had attitude.

Me: uhhhhh so if you don’t service my area why even give me a price?
Girl: uhhhhhh because you ummm asked me for a price.
Really? You incompetent girl. Learn how to talk to people that could eventually have your business.
Moving on…

Oceanfront pest control came out to my house 2.5 years ago for a rat problem. Andy was really honest, and told me that I didn’t have a rat problem (even though I was ready to pay pay pay). Fast forward a couple of years, and we definitely have a rat problem. Unfortunately, I had lost their card. After searching and searching to confirm that it was Oceanfront that had been out before, I finally was able to confirm. Thank goodness I did! Both Lucas and Andy have been out to help with my issue, and I couldn’t be happier (well, unless I never had the problem to begin with!)
They are both personable, friendly, and funny! And honest, too. I was again ready to pay pay pay, and Lucas talked me out of a part of it.

They are awesome! Always on time and with an awesome attitude. I had to re-​scheduled a couple of times and they are always accommodating.
They come every 3 months and if i ever find a bug they are always dead :)

Called to get service at our place of business we have 10 close locations and their hours are only from 9 – 5 and they would not come any earlier or later to accommodate. They need you to evacuate for 2 hours.
Would have like to try them out.

No one really wants to call an exterminator, but all i can say is I am so glad I called these guys.
Andy was on time, super nice and knows what he is doing. He listened to us about the problem, then educated us on where ELSE the crickets were.
He went to town all around the outside and in the kitchen. Quick, nice, clean and a two month guarantee. I totally recommend this company!!!

Lucas is the best! This is a small business. The owner is Lucas and he personally comes out to perform the service. When he can’t, his brother Andy helps. Both men are extremely friendly, honest (!) and likable. The first time meeting them I remember thinking «Gosh these guys are so nice!» and «So happy that I found this company!».
Fast forward 3 years later to today and I’m still using their service. I pay for the annual prevention (for general pests like ants, spiders, silverfish, millipedes, moths, and pantry pests). It is a reasonable price and priceless for my peace of mind. Lucas comes out to my home 6x a year (every 2 months). After he sprays, I leave the house for 2+ hours. He locks up everything before he leaves and I come back to a home that is secured, just like how I would leave it. I haven’t seen a spider (my main concern) since! At least not a live one!
I’ve also used the service for mice/​rats – eek! as well as cockroaches. I live near a main walkway/​drain for my neighborhood and even though I’ve seen roaches outside by the community grass/​sidewalk next to my home, I haven’t seen any in my garage or inside the home since I’ve started the annual treatment.
I don’t know why I haven’t posted a review for this company until now. I read all the reviews even the 1 star ones. Those low reviews being at least 18 months or older. Let me just say this, as I am NOT a family member or close friend of Lucas, cut these guys some slack! Sure a little bit of miscommunication is possible (we are human!) and also excusable, but judge them by their PEST CONTROL service not by whoever answers the phone for them. I do agree that I haven’t had the best and most consistent experiences with the girl on the phone BUT I’ve always received excellent results with Lucas or Andy. And on the last visit, Lucas went above and beyond for me.
Keep in mind, they do not provide termite service. Only general pests like the ones I listed above, as well as mice/​rats, bees, wasps, fleas, and cockroaches.
Lastly, sure I don’t have Elite status or have written a thousand reviews (I just don’t have enough time!), but please take my word and call Lucas for your pest control services! You will not get a more honest and friendly guy!

The owner came to my house and sprayed. I had completely lost it due to the ant infestation months earlier. I have now restored my sanity. It was a bit pricy but well worth it. I keep seeing dead ants every where and it only reminds me of what they do when they are alive which is to drive me crazy. I can now sleep without ants crawling all over me or carrying away my food in the kitchen. It’s been around six months now and all is good. It’s nice being a little careless spilling food and not worrying about it.
The owner did a great job and I recommend his service hence why I’m writing this review.

Andy came out… sprayed and ask me a questions. First time i have ever had a service tell me I wont need any other treatment for a long time. He could have told me i needed month to month service and I would have done it. Its great to know that there are still some honest companies out there that do a great job!
Ant problems GONE!!! BOOM!!!
