Had the worst experience with this company! First off he showed up at my door and made me feel extremely uncomfortable, he only made eye contact with my chest for the first 5 min he was there. He then bullied me into paying $ 140 when he quoted me $ 59 over the phone. I had a money order so he followed me to my bank to wait while I got the remainder of the money out. The carpets were saturated after he left and took days to dry. I absolutely wish I checked reviews prior because he has done this to many other people as well. DO NOT USE!!!

We usually check Unilocal before hiring anyone to work at our house. Sadly we failed to do so in this instance. Every reviewer of this company was exactly right! What a nightmare. Couldn’t wait to just get them out of our house. A total waste of money for poor service and major attitude. Have to give a rating to list the review — 5.

DON’T hire Sunshine Carpet and Rug Cleaning! From start to finish, a bad experience. Rude and dishonest, this was a horrible waste of time and energy. Had to get my money refunded from Living Social. BAD!

This business is run by an extremely rude man who uses «bait and switch» tactics. He bullied me into spending far more than I intended. The experience and the results were terrible. Please check out this link to the BBB website that indicates a pattern of this type of experience for other customers who’ve had the misfortune of hiring him. I wish I’d done so before letting him into my house.

Worst experience ever. Carpet was so saturated it took over 3 days to dry, with a commercial fan on it. Spots still there. I got on my hands and knees with a white towel and cleaned all the spots my self. He charged extra for everything. EVERYTHING. A $ 59 job ended up costing us $ 165.00. Never would use him again.

So when we were reading these reviews, I felt like someone was writing a book about our experience! As soon as he walked into the house he was rude and complaining about the «$ 10 he spent in gas driving out here!» We purchased a living social deal for some couch cleaning that was a $ 199 value. When we told Steve what we purchased he started going on about scotch guard and micro suede and how much extra work it was to clean and it was going to cost extra for this and that. I pulled up his website and he charges $ 39 for a couch and $ 29 for a love-​seat. When I asked him where the other $ 129 of the living social value went, he just started rambling and saying how hard it was… After about 10 minutes of dealing with his crap, he started saying if you don’t want this then just call living social and get your money back. We said that sounds like the best thing you’ve said and told him we wouldn’t need him to clean our furniture. This guy is full of *+#? DON’T LET HIM RIP YOU OFF! I’m thinking of reporting him to the BBB or to weights and measures as well just so I can get a little of the time back that he stole from me!

Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else. Guy cleaning Carpet was upset that he wouldn’t be able to complete the job in an hour even though he was told we had a very large house, hidden fees were numerous, house was empty so he kept encouraging my husband to leave I think so he could do a really crappy job and leave before anyone got back carpets were cleaned terrible were left extremely wet smelled awful was charged WAY more then quoted. Wouldn’t use them again if it was free… I give minus five stars… I want to add I think it’s ridiculous that Unilocal only had 3 reviews that bumps stars up. I reviewed this when it first happened and wrote this review because it wasn’t in reviews and thought my review was lost, then found this buried section. I had never written a review before the initial review on this place, I was just so incredibly disgusted by this company that I had to try to warn people. 5 star would HAVE to be fake this co SUCKS!!! It WILL be on your list of worst mistakes if you hire this company!!! I don’t know how it would even stay in business can’t possible have return customers and definitely no referrals

This is the WORST cleaning company EVER!!! Not only is the owner is so rude, he also insulted us and left without doing any kind of cleaning!!! We had a groupon and we only wanted what the groupon services covered, but this guy was totally not agreeing and wanted to charge us for every small thing possible (he wrote us a quote for $ 450 other than the $ 150 we paid for the groupon). We were ready to pay for some of the extra charges but he won’t agree. We are the most polite people one could do business with, but this guy made us so mad! Way to do business dude… I’m reporting this company to the bureau for better business.

0 stars. I purchased their Groupon for carpet cleaning. They had to reschedule three times and were extremely rude from the start and tried to tack on fee after fee (which was not stated on their Groupon as far as what zip codes they serve without extra fees. It did state that they served my area (Marana)). They came out to my house and told the person that was present at home that because we called them rude that they would not clean the carpet. I will be calling Groupon to get my refund. Do not EVER use their services! They won’t accept credit cards either. SHADY SHADY!!!

Very unprofessional… I called about their $ 59.00 whole house deal for carpet cleaning. And the guy said that it covers 3 rooms but when he comes over and it’s a big room, I’d have to pay him $ 89. He wouldn’t gave me the square footage coverage for the price. When asked what the square footage that covers $ 59, he said that I’d have to call another company and he hung up on me. I called back again and he didn’t answer.
I thought that was rude and disrespectful… I wouldn’t recommend this company even if their service is for free.

I didn’t even bother using this guy. He was so rude on the phone when I called to ask for availability and a quote. Not sure of the quality of his services, but he lost my business after the first phone call.

I bought a Groupon $ 150 value for $ 69. as a gift to my parents. The guy told me on the phone that it would be another $ 20 because of the room sizes. When he got to my parents he told them it would be $ 199. on top of the Groupon. They settled for an additional $ 100. He did a terrible job and the rugs have been sopping wet for two days. He called to say he left a piece of equipment, came to the house and started searching it, accusing my parents of «stealing his cleaning machine.» He forgot to lock his truck overnight… They have to have another cleaning company come clean-​up the mess.

0 stars. The owner came to clean my couch and left the cushions outside my apartment, on dirty concrete, to dry in the sun. They came out more dirty than before he came (see the picture). For the $ 125 I paid to have my sectional cleaned, I could have called another company to do it for cheaper, and get it right the first time. I would have been better off without this service.

Please do not use this company! It was the worst grout and carpet cleaning experience ever. His cleaning machine left a 4 foot stain on my carpet from his machine and is refusing to pay to replace it. He left my floors soaking wet and did not replace my furniture and told me to mop it myself the next day. I had to hire another company to come and re-​do all the grout because after Sunshine «cleaned it,» it looks worse than it had before. DO NOT USE!

I found this scam artist also in the Tucson Shopper. He came out and added $ 45.00 to the pet stain room too. He was rude, messy and even left a mess in my front porch from his cleaning supplies and residue from his machines on my carport (I’m disabled at this time so it’s a pain to have to go clean up after him).
What a waste of money! The smell is still stinky after he cleaned on Monday (it’s Wed. night). DO NOT USE THIS «SERVICE» would have loved to spend the $ 140.00 on another worthy company.
