I’ve been coming here since they opened and I love it. That being said, I’ve tried a ton of different things off the menu and have never been disappointed! And let’s not forget about the service. The staff is wonderful! Every one of them is friendly and generous and they really care about the customers, which is always a great thing.

This place is within walking distance for us and is always warm and welcoming. Our favorite has been the fish and chips, but tonight I had the Irish Curry Chicken — YUM! A really wonderful dish. Shepard’s Pie also hits the spot. Decent beer selection. Stop by!

New ownership I am told, the place is more of a bar now and less of a restaurant. Still a nice place to watch a game or catch up with some friends.

A friend and I spent a day walking around the Bronx River Parkway. Hungry and thirsty we chose this place as it was next to our train. What an absolute delight. One of the most delicious yet simple salads I have ever eaten. We went on the weekend so we got a complimentary Mimosa with our meal. Another fantastic thing about this place is their black bread, I wish they sold loaves. The staff was lovely! If I ever find myself in that area again I will most definitely make a beeline back to Stephen’s Green Bar!

Over the passed month their lunch portion(take out) of shepherds pie has went from small to kids size portion and the price has increased by $ 2 making it $ 13. I had first had this item end of last year inside the bar. And it was awesome and large in portions. Then a started getting take out and it was about half the size of the eat in portion. Now it’s like ¼ the size. I guess now no more food from there. Also doesn’t taste as good any more.

This crowd is way too young. I’m 22. BUT The bar tenders are super nice and the place is clean with a great location and space. Trivia night was pretty cool. Also, dart board and outdoor area

We went on for corned beef and cabbage after the town parade, the place was empty. Both had corned beef and cabbage and it was like eating a salt lick. Hmm an Irish bar should know how to make good corned beef and cabbage, sorry this was among the worst I have ever had. Also the waitress kept pushing the wine, she must of asked 6 times during our meal if I wanted another glass. This was most likely the last time I will ever set foot in there

I have always been a fan of Stephens Green because of the people and atmosphere. Agree with another reviewer the food went from good to fantastic, especially their burgers. Great bun, fried onion and cooked perfectly. The rest of the menu is great to, good irish pub menu. This place can’t be beat now between the menu, atmosphere and prices. Guinness at 6.50, friendly people and great food, this is a great place to be a regular.

Doesnt seem that their have been many reviews recently but the food has improved tremendously since my first time here back in March of this year. Salmon, Fish & chips, and certainly the burgers surpass Pipers Kilt and other places near by .Bar scene is mixed with young and the aging. Friendly service with a smile every time I, ve been here. Prices are excellent and great for group gathering s after work.

I like this place because it’s spacious and low key with a nice outdoor area. The crowd is mixed, usually a bit older, so if you’re looking for a crazy night out this is not the place. They do have trivia and karaōke nights and I love the local feel of the place. The food is okay too.

Nice, slightly upscale pub. Lovely décor, wonderful service, good food. The best Irish coffee I’ve had in Westchester so far. They top it with fresh, buttery, real cream rather than sweet whipped cream. My Irish friend agreed that the Irish coffee was well-executed. Will definitely be coming back.

I really like this place. It has a classy approach to the traditional Irish Pub. The menu has something for everyone. I had a bacon burger and it was substantial. My wife had a soup and salad. She was impressed by the presentation as well as the quality. Reading some of the past reviews, I’m convinced they must have done some sort of overhaul as this is certainly top tier without the 5 star price tag. That said they still have the friendly bar somewhat removed from the main dining room. A small stage for live acts and from what I was told, the best Team Trivia night in Westchester on Thursdays. We’ll be back for that!

Though it’s hard to top a Piper’s Kilt burger, this certainly comes close. Beef is juicy, thick and cooked to order. Topped mine with some onion strings. Plenty of TVs for catching a game. I’ll absolutely return. Fast & friendly service. Parking on the street can be a pain as it’s right by the Crestwood Train Station.

Stephens Green is a great new find for us. They have a nice interior with big bar although this trip the outdoor patio was the big selling point for us. Comfy chairs, with a nice overhead tent with fans. We enjoyed our meals very much and really liked the eclectic menu that will bring us back for more. We shared the chicken francese with mashed potatoes which was very good. A Thai chicken panini with salad and appetizer of mozzarella sticks. The mozz sticks were crunchy and gooey just the way they should be and hardly ever are at other restaurants. Panini was yummy with a Thai chili sauce, red onions, grilled chicken and arugula. I liked that you could substitute a salad instead of fries at no additional cost. The salad was a good mix of mesclun along with frisee and the honey mustard dressing was delish. Friendly servers who were attentive and prices are reasonable. We’ll be back.

Stephen’s Green is conveniently located a stone’s throw away from my brother’s apartment(and, incidentally, a stone’s throw away from the Crestwood train station). Though I have eaten here three times already, I’ve never seen another patron in the pub while I’ve been there. Maybe the whole Irish pub thing hasn’t picked up in Tuckahoe as much as it has in Yonkers. More likely, though, the throngs are going to Mickey Spillane’s just up the road. Service is hit-or-miss. I went with my brother several years ago(again we were the ONLYTWOPEOPLE in the restaurant) and it took over an hour to get our meal … the waitress was busy chatting and idling around. But the last two times I’ve gone, the service has been really good. Run-of-the-mill pub food, really: burgers, sandwiches, salads, etc. Nothing is amazing, but everything is pretty solid.

Just had a DELICIOUS hamburger from here that was cooked to perfection. My friend took a bite and I had to wrestle it away from her. I heard that they got a new chef and this is the first food I tried since they hired him. He is AWESOME.

Karaōke here on Saturdays are pretty ridiculous. It seemed to be a off Broadway show. I love the crap out of karaōke and until I downed three drinks fast I was a little uncomfortable lol. Drinks are great. People are mixed. Old young and in between. Food has always been great here, nothing too overly fancy, but consistently good. It’s clean, the staff is friendly and fast. Will frequent way more.

I haven’t eaten here, but I have patronized the arts here. And watched someone eat. So it’s like I’ve experienced it first hand. They have something like 2 $ coronas and 5 $ pitchers on wednesday nights. Not entirely certain if that is solely created for the«Live Scene at Stephen’s Green» open mic night that they host every other wednesday– but it is irrelevant because that is really the only time to go anyways. The bar has two separate seating/mingling areas, one which is slightly raised where the performances take place. Those tables are great for groups and they have a smoking area out in the back– and may even have a functional patio… i’m unsure as it’s still winter. And even better, if you perform, you get free drinks all night, so bring your friends and have them watch you make a fool out of yourself, and then drink your memories away.

Stopped in for lunch after putting a few hours of overtime on the books. The place is very nice. Decorated much like an Irish pub should be, with Celtic knots, and plaques of the different Irish counties. There are a few tv’s by the bar playing sports, ESPN and what not. There is also a small dining area which is cut off from the bar quite nicely. I chose the bar area as I just wanted a burger and a few beers. The Smithwick’s tasted great and hit the spot. The cheese burger was very good. Cooked to perfection, the meat was flavorful and juicy. The fries were nice and golden, just how I like them. All in all it was a successful lunch.
