If it were possible I would give negative stars for super shuttle. Worst customer care. Worst drivers. The driver left us and didn’t even call us on the number provided and marked us no show. I asked super shuttle to send me another shuttle and they said they can’t for next 2hours. We almost missed our flight. But Über saved us. Costs almost the same and much better service. Go Über.

I have used SuperShuttle for many years. For the past 4 – 5 years, their service is better than ever. They got rid of their old vans and have clean, polite drivers as well.

Pick up was on time both at my home and return trip from LAX. I think they are very well organized and have this all figured out, especially when I was traveling at the most chaotic of times: the Christmas holidays! What a mess returning home out of LAX, too; they made it seem so easy! The drivers know what they’re doing and handle the luggage swiftly, easily, and are extremely nice. I felt very safe and would use them in any situation.

On our return to LAX– we had a reservation for 1pm. Same story— we waited and waited– we didn’t get our shuttle until 3pm. The dispatcher at the airport was harassed — so many people were complaining and everyone was waiting forever. Dispatched told me — «you are a shares rise, not a private– so this is what you get».
Will never take super shuttle again.

Great to be picked up on time from Ventura and not have to deal with driving/​parking at LAX. Thx SuperShuttle!

I’ve used SuperShuttle in the pass and had no problems with them. We recently went on vacation to Disneyland and booked a round trip which was excellent. We encountered no problems and we started our vacation stress free. Thanks SuperShuttle and Happy New Year.

If you ever need to use a shuttle to go to and from an airport, DO N… OT USE SuperShuttle! Our experience recently was absolutely horrible. My son was picked up from home to go to LAX and the driver was not only very reckless but got him to the airport with only 30 minutes before his flight time. Oh but that wasn’t bad enough. On his return flight, many flights were delayed. He went to check in at the «Blue Booth» and NO ONE was available. He sat at the airport waiting and waiting, with all the SuperShuttles just driving by, some with passengers and some with NO passengers at all and no one even stopped to check to see if he needed a ride. I called their 800 # and the first person I talked with transferred me over to «dispatch» and when they finally answered, I was hung up by someone with the name Steve! I called back and got another person and they helped me get a refund for the trip home. I asked to speak with someone regarding this and the previous incident and was told that there were many delays at not only LAX but other airports and that it was «difficult to get drivers at 2:40 am and if my son wanted to wait for a shuttle, that it would be 1 to 2 hours before someone could pick him up». One would think that when flights are delayed, that this company has an obligation to make sure drivers are ALWAYS available for those people who have PREPAID regardless!!! We will NEVER use this company again. Their motto of getting you to the airport with plenty of time to check in and having an agent at their «blue booth» to get you your shuttle home, leaves a lot to be desired.
The TAXI ride home cost my son $ 130.00. SuperShuttle should reimburse us for that!!!

Service was great. Correspondence was outstanding. Received email and text notifications for check in and Map of driver when getting close. Super easy.

As with all services involving a driver, things can go awry if you end up with a bad driver. I have used SuperShuttle maybe 10 or more times in the past 5 years and only once had a real bad experience.
The one bad experience was when after waiting 30 – 40 minutes past my pickup time, SuperShuttle told me that the van that was supposed to pick me up disappeared and called a cab for me (this was an evening departure) and the driver had a hard time finding me and didn’t know how to get to LAX (I was able to guide him and made my flight in time). SS did refund my fare that night and gave me a voucher for one free ride to compensate for having to pay for cab (which is double the normal SS fare). All other times which were daytime departures, the shuttle always arrived on time (usually earlier) and the online locator thing was accurate.
Living 15 – 20 minutes away from the airport makes things easier, than someone booking from Newport Beach or Pomona to LAX obviously (due to the traffic). SuperShuttle no longer circles the terminals over and over to pick up passengers any longer (a big plus over Prime Time who still does that I think) but you may have to wait quite a bit of time for the van to arrive (15 – 30 minutes), but once you pass terminal 7, the van will be headed out (even if you are the only passenger, which happens).
Sometimes you end up with an obnoxious passenger that can screw up the ride (to no fault of the driver) or find out there is a parade along the route where the passenger lives and have to detour for 30 minutes. Rule of thumb is that if you are traveling in a group of 3 or more or live more than 30 miles away from LAX, better to just park. For solo or double travelers if going for 4 nights or less better to park also. But for extended trips supershuttle is better than paying a fortune to park.
My advice is to book online (and use coupon codes) and have some patience. The alternative (taking a cab or using the red vans) is often worse. But look for cheaper parking around LAX (don’t use Lot C tho) when it makes economical sense. Supershuttle has worked out well for me not only at LAX but also in Las Vegas and Dulles (DC). Never used them in NYC as taking the train to JFK is better. Gotta also understand that drivers are independent contractors and can’t blame them for getting cranky when driving East in rush hour traffic carrying only 2 passengers (2 – 3 hours for a $ 60 fare or so).
All in all most of the driver’s I had were professional, didn’t drive like maniacs, maintained their vans nicely (many times they were pretty new) and provided good service.

Great service, the ride was nice and pleasant and it was overall a great experience. The drivers to and from the airport were so kind, helpful and friendly. First time using this service, and I plan on using them again for all my future travels. They exceeded my expectations on price, customer service, promptness and overall experience. I was stress free traveling from OC to LAX on one of the busiest times of the year (Thanksgiving). I would highly recommend!

SuperShuttle definitively is superior to PrimeTime. PrimeTime loves to take its time to grab 8 passengers while SuperShuttle is more likely to be satisfied with 4 – 5 passengers. So far, I’ve taken SuperShuttle 3 times and for the most part it’s been good. One time it came late, I believe the original driver was sleeping on his job or something because it was 10 min until pickup time and my driver was still parked 30 min away. I decided to call in and they had someone else pick me up after about 20 – 30 min. They told me there would only be one pickup but that was a lie, they picked up 3 – 4 more people. It was not the driver’s fault though, it seems SuperShuttle (at the time at least) loved to change the schedule around and kept adding and removing passengers to be picked up. That whole ride was a big mess.
Overall always expect 4 – 5 people on the shuttle (so if you’re first, expect 3 – 4 pick ups). This is true at LAX too, they’ll take a round or two around the airport to pickup people.

Oh Super Shuttle… I have been using you for two and a half solid years… Just last week I got a one way rate of $ 86.00, went to book this weeks shuttle and your rates are up to $ 109.00 one way!!!
This greed has just cost you a loyal customer.
No way you can justify these prices to drive 56 miles one way… Today is a sad day for this corporate traveler, I will be looking into Über options or drive myself.

Super Shuttle is easy to book and easy to use. My rides to and from the airport were there on time.
I also really like the new technical features that the company has added. You can let them know that you have landed as soon as you arrive at the airport (self check-​in) online. They will then let you know where the shuttle stand is, the number of the van that is picking you up and you can even see GPS tracking on it’s location (Über-​style). Easy peasy!

Use them all time!
They are best way for us to get to airport. We are 10 mins away. I like the navigation used to track your driver. Took angst out of the wondering and waiting. Drivers are always pleasant.

Dudes, it’s a shared shuttle service. Everything was scheduled as planned and I had no hiccups with my shuttle to the airport. I was picked up for my 5:30am flight at LAX @ 2:45am. There were two additional stops and the pickups went smoothly.
I’d usually have a friend drop me off, but because my flight was so early, I did not want to bother anyone to wake up at 3am. Additionally, I did not want to rely on the hope that an Über driver would be trolling around that time of night.
SuperShuttle was a good priced answer to for my early morning airport drop-​off. It was $ 30 one way plus tip. I did not have any problems and I would pick SuperShuttle again if it made sense for me.
Plan ahead and don’t miss your flights!

I’ve been using Supershuttle for years, as the service is usually cheaper than parking at or near the airport. Generally, I’ve been pleased with the ease of booking and their overall reliability.
That is: Until recently, when I booked Supershuttle for the to/​from trip to LAX for a recent vacation to Bali.
As an aside, Supershuttle has made a number of recent improvements: They now have a van-​tracking function (they’ll inform you via text message when your van has been assigned, and will let you track its location and progress on a map), as well as an airport curbside check-​in function.
Result: New visibility into Supershuttle’s inner workings — thus letting you detect very early when things have gone wildly awry.
On the day of my trip to LAX, I never received the standard confirmation/​reminder of my reservation. So I was nervous that something had gone wrong. Then, the start time of my pickup window came and went, but no van.
Normally, I wouldn’t have freaked out. Supershuttle gives you a 15 – 20 minute pick-​up window for a reason. But already being a little nervous, I decided to use Supershuttle’s new van-​tracking function to see where my van was.
To my horror, I saw that the van was literally on the other side of Los Angeles from my pick-​up spot.
I immediately called Supershuttle, and learned that my van had never been assigned at all (oopsie!). After about 10 minutes on the phone with the Supershuttle rep (who kept putting me on hold to speak to the local dispatcher), he told me that a cab had been sent to pick me up. But I’d have to wait another 10 minutes. Finally, the cab arrived and I was on my way.
While it was nice to have a direct, private trip to the airport for the cost of a shared van service, it was NOT nice that I had to call Supershuttle directly to fix the problem. What if I hadn’t figured out the problem when I did? Would Supershuttle simply never have shown up? What if I hadn’t left as much of a time cushion — would I have missed my $ 1000+ flight to Bali?
Fast forward to my trip home from LAX. I checked in with the curbside Supershuttle rep, and was told it’d be 15 – 20 minutes’ wait.
Being savvier this time, and having received a text with my van assignment (conspicuously, I had NOT received this text on the trip to LAX), I immediately looked up my van’s progress. It seemed to be hovering in one spot. Then, a few minutes later, I got a new text that my van’s number had changed. I set to tracking the new van.
Then, the Supershuttle rep came over and told me that the NEW van’s mirror had been broken off, and the driver was trying to get that fixed. It would be another 20 minutes. Meanwhile, I watched the van logo on my phone’s tracking map wobble, and then move in the opposite direction from the airport.
After 23 hours straight of travel, I was beyond exhausted, and rapidly losing patience. As I watched other passengers — who had checked in AFTER me — get picked up by other Supershuttle vans, my mood soured even further.
Then the Supershuttle rep came back again. I had been reassigned back to the original van, as the second van’s mirror couldn’t get fixed in time. Yet, I had to wait *another* 15 minutes.
By then, I’d been waiting 45 minutes in total… on an early Sunday morning, not exactly rush hour. I watched glumly as my new van’s icon wobbled on the tracking map, but didn’t go anywhere.
Then, finally, the van icon on the map started to move, and I was picked up. To his credit, the driver didn’t wait for other pickups, and instead drove me straight to my destination. He even gave me a chilled bottle of water. I tipped him handsomely.
But the fact that I had such difficulties on BOTH legs of my recent trip really makes me reconsider whether I should ever use Supershuttle again.

I’ve never taken Super Shuttle before. I’m sort of a control freak & don’t usually like to make stops other than my own. I want to get to my destination (usually a hotel for a nap!) FAST and in style. Props to those who hire me a driver & a town car! W00t. That doesn’t happen. Much.
ANYWAY!
The price of cabs from LAX to was CHA CHING (and the conference I was keynoting at UCLA had made a deal with Super Shuttle for a good price Round Trip!
I loved getting an email confirmation, a welcome text at the airport, easy check in, a text letting me know what van I was taking.
The only downsides, were the 25 min wait at LAX for my van and my driver did seem to drive around the LAX circle like 3 times stopping at every Super Shuttle stop — I wondered if he was lost and. Oh! He did also seem to drive a little like a cowboy — but I think that’s an LA thing.
The travel time It took to get to the Hotel Angeleno was a total of 46 min 11 seconds. I used my phone stopwatch outta curiosity & being a committed Elite Unilocaler. You’re welcome. ;-)
Super Shuttle exceeded all of my expectations (cause they honestly started sorta low)
I would definitely take Super Shuttle again! It was a lovely experience, except for the Cra Cra drivers on the LA Highways who are flippin INSANE in the Membrane!

My company had a last minute change for my business travel, and they were not able to book a car for my pickup at LAX. Sometimes, things happens for reasons! At last minute, I booked my reservation online with Super Shutle prior to my departure from SFO, and while my plane was delayed a few hours, by the time I got to LAX at 10pm, I only had to wait less than 15 minutes for my shuttle pickup.
I think the best part about my ride was I got a chance to chat with other riders, and our driver was sooo funny, he was like a walking «Jimmy Kimmel!» I can’t thank you enough for making us all laugh, and for providing us great service!

I appreciate the check in feature I received via email. I posted a photo of my email just to prove they really do this. After picking up my luggage, i walked out to the ground transportation area across the street. The check in feature from the email alerted them that another passenger has arrived. As soon as I arrived, there was a van waiting. They called out my name. Still need to fill up to 9 passengers but at least it helps them speed up the process & get more vans to arrive on time. Thank you Super Shuttle. Each time I fly into SNA, it just gets better & better. Round trip fare from SNA to hotel near Disney $ 26 incl tip. 15 –20 min ride but it all depends if you’re the first or last hotel drop off.
