Highly recommend these guys. They were fast, efficient and careful with my furniture. The truck was big and had all the essentials. The price was good as well.

From my first phone call to the end of the transaction, this move could not have gone more smoothly. A tiny bit faster, maybe, but the 3 fellas were human after all.
Marcos, Tony and shy Oscar were very warm and friendly and took great care with all of my items. They may not have handled everything with kid gloves, but they knew what they were doing. They quickly wrapped furniture and asked any questions. The best part, all those dumb odds and ends you just don’t know how to pack, they brought in big boxes and we piled items into them! The usage of their wardrobe boxes was invaluable! Those things are pricey and I had a lot of clothes to move! 4 or 5 boxes, to be able to just keep my clothes on the hanger was fantastic! I also had a 51 inch TV I needed dismounted from my wall. They made quick work of removing and wrapping it up.
My new apartment was challenging due to a narrow staircase to my 2^nd interior floor, but they hoisted the box spring and mattress right up an over my outdoor balcony! One quickly set up my bed and they asked how I wanted my furniture placed.
The three men maintained a positive disposition the entire time, and even pointed out the Unilocal discount I could purchase.
Was it cheap? No, just over $ 600 for about 5 hours, however that included 3 men and lots of wrap, removal of my TV and a LARGE truck. Luckily I was just over 8 minutes to my new location so I avoided another charge for distance. Would I use them again? If I had to use movers, I would call on them knowing I could trust my items to not be broken and well cared for.

This review is for Excalibur’s customer service, especially Edgar. Edgar was so nice and helpful with all the questions I had, and called me back in 15 minutes or so to see if he could reserve a time slot for me for a move.
I ended up going with another company purely for price reasons, but Edgar was so polite and considerate (i.e. NOT pushy) about potentially even price-​matching. I got the feeling he really cared about doing a good job and representing his company well. This is a rarity!
Even though I never used them, Edgar put me at ease and showed his company to be honest and trustworthy. Great job Edgar, you’re the man, and print this out for your yearly review — you deserve it!

Agustin, Julio, and Willi were awesome! They moved efficiently and quickly, while being very careful with our items, wrapping them well and being super aware of the space so as not to damage anything. They were very professional and friendly, I enjoyed moving with these guys. We will definitely call Excalibur the next time we move again!

I recently used Excalibur to move from dtla to mid-​city and my moving team consisted of Eliseo, Oscar and Javier. They did an amazing job. They were extremely careful with all of my belongings and very respectful and friendly. They worked hard the entire time and really facilitated the whole process, which was great because there’s really no way to make moving enjoyable. Definitely recommend this company. They even gave me a small box of chocolates at the end!

Guys were fast, efficient, and cool! No problems from Marina Del Rey to Burbank. They seemed experienced as well and communicated clearly through the whole process. Highly suggest!

Highly recommend Zach and his crew! Very professional and efficient service. I had a one bedroom and living room moved from Little Tokyo to Downtown and it only took 4 hours, even when my elevator was broken.

Wow — stress free move. These guys are fast, thorough, and careful. Zack and his crew moved a lot of cumbersome heavy stuff from Koreatown to the valley. The final price was below estimate too. I will use them again in the near future.

Fredy, Herman, and Javier were AMAZING!!! They worked so well as a team and made moving effortless. They were organized, friendly, and careful.

Had to move again, obviously didn’t waste my time with any other moving company! This time we had Marco, Oscar and Michael. they made what could have been a very difficult move seamless. They showed up exactly when they said they would, worked efficiently and were friendly and professional. Do not waste your time looking for another local moving company just book these guys!

These guys are amazing. I had a pretty unique move I think, Had a ton of medium to large plants to move as well as 25 – 30 super heavy large boxes full of books amongst other boxes and stuff from my apartment, moving into a house in Echo Park on a SUPER steep hill, literally 45 degrees incline which they parked on and unloaded from as my driveway was too small. Because of this they also had to use a smaller truck hoping it would fit, (which it didn’t, sans the street parking) and I was worried they’d have to make 2 trips.
They didn’t need 2 trips, they fit it all miraculously, great Tetris skills! And the whole move which I expected to take twice their 3 hour minimum only took 4 hours. These guys (4 of them) earned their money and then some, never let up, and moved this stuff FAST! I haven’t found a ding or crack or scuff on anything either. They do a great job of protecting your items and are fast at prepping it all as needed.
Will always highly recommend these guys from now on. And if you have unique items or location or tons of PLANTS, these guys have the experience to handle it properly.

I recently decided to only do good (and bad) reviews of businesses who truly deserve them. I moved from DTLA to Manhattan Beach and decided on a five person crew with full packing services. I was moving from a modern building with a freight elevator into a older walk up property.
I have never seen a group of people do such an amazing move in my entire life. They were fast, efficient, and didn’t damage a thing. They were especially creative when maneuvering large items through doorways etc.
My not to exceed quote of $ 1,800 was a little more than I wanted to pay, and also included materials and boxes. The box thing is always a bit of a racket because they came with used boxes and left with the same used boxes.
Great service, and again, a phenomenal experience. Well worth the price.

24 hours after I posted my negative review I received a call from Lilia, the General Manager at Excalibur. She offered to cover the moving costs of transporting my bed to the manufacturer in Van Nuys and covering the full repair cost of the bed.
Lilia and the movers were very nice and helpful and I am thankful that the manufacturer was able to restore the broken headboard to look almost brand new.
However, it is unfortunate that posting a bad review was the only way I was ultimately able to get the problem resolved.
I would consider hiring Excalibur again, but likely only if Fay is no longer an employee.

I preface this review knowing that maybe somewhere i missed a critical part of the equation that lead to this outcome, but really a pretty rough experience all around.
I wanted to used Excalibur because they had great reviews. So i signed up for a move. The move came with an onsite quote experience where they came to inspect what I had and give me a quote that is «not to exceed» a specific number. At this point i was about 2 weeks or so away from my move and in the throes of packing my house. Someone (Lets call him «R») came out and did his thing and mentioned that in a few days I would get the quote. Now, I was under the impression that this was informative and not a FULL FLEDGED part of the agreement. We set a date, a time, and I all but said lets do this. R explained the process (there will be garment boxes, here’s what you need to do to prepare, etc, etc… i really felt like we were good to go!). Little did i actually know that I had to make outward contact to approve the quote. That is somewhat on me, however, if you review the email and review these transcripts very little seemed to stand out implying that my abilty to move was in jeopardy.
It wasnt made clear that as part of this process I would need to effectively confirm everything. Now I recieved two message, both or either of which could have implied that we werent really done in the process. The first message was just to set up the onsite quote, and I did call back then.
It seems like there could be a better push to move me along and make sure that its clear that nothing is actually set in stone, but I really feel like they did a poor job explaining that to me.
At the very bottom of the email, they say in one sentence that you need to contact the agent to confirm rates. I totally missed that as its buried in the whole email. And on both of these phone calls, while Someone «T» asked me to call back (which i did to confirm the time to establish the Quote, no one made it clear on the process. R (whom came out to give me the quote) used «If» in regards to reaching out. Perhaps saying that «I need to reach out» in order to make the move.
Needless to say, no one showed up on ⁵⁄₁₄ and I had to scramble and find some friend to help me do my move (something NO ONE wants to ask of friends).
My advice to management is to make the process more clear and train your sales agents to close deals. This was a 1500 job (not huge, certainly not insignificant) that they missed out on. Maybe have your agents call more than once and actually say to the customer that they need to call back in order to confirm everything. Also, perhaps, add to a more prominent placement of the email that this is part X or Y steps to confirm your move. A simple «You’re almost set» or «One last step to schedule your move» is all it would have taken.

Super Pro! Everything worked. They carried the piano down the stairs, broke down the large furniture, moved my whole place into storage. Absolute pleasure to work with Eliseo, Oscar and Ulises. I will work with them again in Sept/​Oct when I move into my new place. Highly recommended!

Moving can be one of the most stressful things in life, but thanks to Excalibur and the quality of movers they employ, you can rest assured your move will be seamless.
I moved this weekend. Oscar and his team of 9 men showed up on time, ready to get the job done. They were so proficient, careful and organized. I ended up taking a hike in the middle of the move, because they had everything handled.
They will come a few weeks before and give you a «not to exceed quote.» This is incredibly helpful in budgeting a move. They bring everything you need: bubble wrap, boxes, paper, tape, sharpies, etc. If you have difficult items to move, think large couches, or a projector and screen, they are experts in handling everything.
I am so happy with the value of their services. I hope I do not have to move for a while, but if I do, I know that Excalibur will be there for me. I will never move with any other company.

Eliseo, Oscar R, Rafa, and Hector Rivera were absolutly AMAZING!!! Highly, highly impressed with all four of them! They called ahead to give me an ETA and were on time! They moved none stop all day, super fast! They had no problem asking questions about the stuff I had not labeled well, and made sure the big stuff was exactly where I wanted it. They wrapped everything well, moved it carefully, and were careful on our hardwood floors and stairs.
The reservation making process was simple, exact pricing was given, and there were no hidden random fees. Absolutly worth it! I would recommend this company to anyone!

Marcos, Tony, Juan F, and Felix were badass. They got moving the moment the contract was signed and they cleared a one bedroom apt (bunch of furniture and 30+ boxes) in under 45 minutes. Packaged up my TV better than I probably would and got everything safe and sound at my new location.
Moving and packing sucks but these make it suck way less.
