History

Established in 1949.

Adams & Helm Plumbing was founded by Lyle Adams and William Helm in Tustin, California. Unfortunately Mr. Adams passed in the mid-1960’s. Mr. Helm continued on well past retirement until the year 2001.

The Company was then taken over by his Son Dr. Robert F. Helm, who continued on with his fathers fair and ethical business pratices, my brother Chad Meier and myself James Meier.

Dr. Helm decided to concentrate on his practice and sold his share of the company to my brother and I. Chad had many years experience in all phases of plumbing including food grade plumbing. Unfortunatly he also passed at a young age in Nov. 2006. My career in plumbing started in 1986. Since that time I have honed my plumbing skills in service and repair, kitchen and bath remodel, new constuction and tenant improvements. However, my skills would be of no value, if, the company, its employees or myself should ever fail to meet a customers expectations or its founders fair and ethical business practices.

Since, becoming a business owner. The most important thing I’ve learned is the value of a customer. The toughest thing in business to acquire and keep is a customer.

You must always be fair, ethical and respectful and never lose sight of that, if you want them to keep coming back. The only sure way to know that you have successfully exceeded a customers expectations is when they call you again and again, if they call you only one time you have failed.
