I spoke to Jessie at Air Force regarding pricing and warranty, he explained the diagnostic fee and standard repair pricing sheet. After calling four others Air Force had the best value and availability. Jessie came out, found the issue, fixed it, and honored the Unilocal discount. The entire experience was very good, it is nice to find an honest repair company.

Recently, I contracted with Air Force AC to install air conditioning in my residence. I decided on Air Force after vetting and interviewing several other HVAC companies and their sales representatives. When it comes to HVAC systems, we homeowners are in a good position
because there are many companies out there to choose from, and they all want our business.
I did a little research (buyer beware stuff) into residential HVAC systems before embarking on the interviewing and selection process. It became apparent during the vetting of HVAC companies that most of them (sales representatives) tried to oversell me on equipment and services that I didn’t really need or want. It appalls me when sales persons don’t listen and arrogantly assume they know what the customer’s needs are or should be. The HVAC companies I looked at are all well-​known, A+ BBB rated.
I met with Rocky Rocco, one of the owners of Air Force AC. I told him what I wanted and he did a walk-​through assessment of my house and property. Rocky told me that my current heater was in good working condition. He said the heater just needed to be cleaned up a little, but otherwise it would be fine with AC components added to it. Rocky also told me my current attic ducting was serviceable and would not need replacing, unless I wanted to go with newer materials. I decided to use my existing ducting and save some money. Every other HVAC company strongly recommended that the heater and ducting be replaced without giving me a logical and compelling reason for its replacement. One of the things that gained my trust with Rocky is that his explanations were framed like this: «if this were my house (or my family), I would do this.» I was also impressed with his level of knowledge and experience. All my questions and concerns were met with technically sound and reasonable answers, based on the research that I had done.
After meeting Rocky, discussing his company, and the quality they stand for, I had a good feeling about him. As a police officer for 35 years, I’m pretty good at identifying red flags; there were none with Rocky. I decided to go with Rocky’s company, Air Force AC.
On the day of the install, Rocky, along with his installers arrived on time (0800 hrs.) and were ready to begin. The installers were polite and considerate of our property, making every attempt to minimize the impact on us. The installers were able to complete the job on the same day, finishing around 1730 hrs.
We now have cool air flowing through our house and I’m very happy with the system Rocky installed. I chose Rocky’s company not because he was the least expensive, but because I trust him, the man. There is nothing more important in a business or personal relationship than integrity.

Jesse just left my house after fixing my air conditioning. It has not worked during this recent heat wave. Originally scheduled for next week, he was able to fit me in today, much to our relief. He even called and came early. (Unheard of, right?). Jesse was fabulous, explaining what was wrong, not trying to sell me anything I didn’t need, or even push me to purchase a maintenance contract. I found him easy to talk to, friendly, honest, and trustworthy. I will definitely use this company again, and highly recommend Air Force to anyone in need of air conditioning and heating services. It’s a great feeling when you find a company you can rely on.

I can’t say enough good things about Air Force Air Conditioning! We needed a whole new HVAC system, and based on recommendations from a local neighborhood group we’d called a few different companies for quotes. Jesse was on time, thorough, spent time actually asking about our air conditioning usage and making recommendations based on what we needed. Happily it never felt like a hard sale, or push to make us buy the biggest/​most expensive. The install date was decided on and they were right on time, even a little early. They were clean, communicated well, and finished well before we expected. Jesse stopped by after the install to make sure we knew how our new system worked, and to check on the install job. We had a couple weeks of very light usage due to mild weather, but, we’ve now had 2 days of well over 100 degree weather and our house has NEVER been this comfortable in the 9 years we’ve lived here! From start to finish, I’m totally satisfied and would recommend them to anyone.

My experience with Air Force Air Conditioning and Heating, Inc. was refreshing after having some not-​to-​good of experiences from other HVAC service providers. I found other providers to be dishonest and pushy and/​or they would use an upselling technique in an attempt to make a more profitable sale. Jesse Porter (one of the business owner’s) approach was very different. He was very knowledgeable, patient and professional and he used these attributes to deliver data to me in layman’s terms. Although options were provided, I was allowed to make an informed HVAC decision, without being pushed in any direction.
The team of installers (Jaime, Jose, Rafael and Jesse) were also very competent in their field (some also NATE certified, as are the owners) and it was apparent they all had strong work ethics.
All in all, Team Air Force AC & H’s dedication, professionalism and work ethics are second to none and it was a real pleasure doing business with all of them!

These guys are all amazing. Jesse and Rocky came out and gave me a quote. During the process, they took the time to explain what is needed and what would work. Best of all it fit my budget perfectly.
Install day. They said they would be at my place at 8:00 AM. No joke, 8:00 AM they were there. Got on the roof and disconnected the old unit. 9:00 AM the crane shows up. Takes the old unit off the roof and put the new one on. Few hours later, the new unit is installed, up and running. They even worked with my current interesting duct work.
Great and knowledgeable crew working. No time wasted. Pleasant experience all around.
They are my go to folks for my Heating and Air needs.

The entire experience with Air Force was excellent. From calling after hours and getting a human being, to a reassuring information intake, prompt scheduling, and the appointment day itself. No hard sell. Reasonable rates – especially the service call charge and the application of that towards repair.
They called ahead on the day of; showed up within the time window; were completely professional; fixed the issue right away. Very pleasant and respectful. This is how it should be, folks. A top notch operation, I highly recommend Air Force Air Conditioning and Heating.

Jessie, Jose, and Jimmy were absolutely amazing! My furnace died and my entire unit is original to the house (1990), but the condenser is still fully operational. Jessie recommended just replacing the furnace, gave me a more than fair price, and was here the very next day replacing it. Jose and Jimmy were so sweet and worked so hard all day to get it working. I was working from home all day with my kids running around and felt like I had 2 friends over, not 2 guys I just met. Would welcome them into my home anytime and am so grateful for the quick, friendly, and honest service they gave me. When my condenser eventually dies, I know who I’m calling. See you soon guys!

These guys are seriously as good as it gets.
They installed a completely new A/​C system and a whole house fan. They are competent, professional, and friendly. They worked in my budget, and their employees represent their employer well and are hard workers.
A couple of great entrepreneurs that provide a great service at a reasonable price. I’m a saver, so it’s never easy to write those big checks. But when I have to do it, I’m glad guys like this are getting the business.

Talk about professional… Rocky and the team are wonderful to work with, start to finish. Even though my HVAC job was probably one of the smallest they’ve completed this year, I was treated with respect each step of the way. What a fantastic business! I wish all trades were as great. Jesse, Rocky and the whole team are professional, courteous, good humored, clean, and willing to go above and beyond to leave you happy and satisfied. I had a very complicated/​difficult/​annoying HVAC replacement project which they completed with relative ease and no complaints. They arrived on time (actually early), followed up with me quickly and answered all of my questions without being annoyed. Best of all, they had the lowest price of any other company in the area and did the whole thing in just one day. Highly recommend!

I need to start by saying that I went thru HELL finding the right AC repair company. Ive been having issues with my Air/​Heat since last year and since last year I’ve had others come look at the A/​C unit and try to fix it and charged me an arm and a leg for it and still the issue was not repaired!
FINALLY I find Air Force AC on Google and comes Rocky. Rocky saw the unit told me exactly what the problem was, fixed the problem and when I say fix the problem I mean the guy rewired every wire that was done wrong, fixed the thermostat and was upfront and honest about everything, didn’t beat around the bush and made me feel like a friend! Oh and the price was was really fair. Again Thank u Rocky for keeping my family warm in the winter and cool in the summer! So if anyone wants someone honest and friendly call Rocky at Air forced AC!

Fantastic honest service, it’s 8:30 pm and Rocky has just completed repairs to my heating unit… I called Air Force Air on Wednesday and Rocky was at my home in a few hours, I wasn’t expecting to see a service tech for at least a week. Wow! Rocky diagnosed the problem and explained in detail what my options were. Rocky ordered the parts and called me with updates as to when the parts would be delivered… He arrived at my home Friday evening after a long day and went right to work. My heater is working again and he also took the time to check my air conditioner. Great job… If you want honest hard working guys in your home call Rocky… Take advantage of their maintenance program for peace of mind.

Rocky came out for a system check. Too often we call a company when we are have an urgent need. I called to establish a baseline and learn about the system we inherited with the purchase of our home. Rocky did a comprehensive check. He was extremely knowledgeable and offered several solutions to improve the system efficiency. Rocky was on time and very friendly!

We had a problem on a Sunday (of course) and Jesse came right out. He clearly explained the emergency call pricing versus the regular (non-​Sunday) pricing, but we opted for the emergency call on Sunday because it wasn’t too astronomical and we wanted our house cool on a hot summer day!
Jesse fixed the problem in no time. He was super nice and friendly. I won’t be using anyone else ever again!

It’s early september which means it’s 90+ here, and yesterday afternoon our central air broke.
Called air force this morning and they were able to come out later in the day. Jesse diagnosed the issue, gave me an accurate quote, had all the parts and was able to fix the compressor in less than an hour, all while keeping me up to speed while i was at work.
Definitely happy with the service and will be using them again.

I can only start by saying thank you, thank you, thank you! Thank you Jesse! Thank you Rocky! Thank you Air Force Air Conditioning and Heating, Inc. for your professionalism, your kindness, working well into the night time hours, for calling to make sure we were still home and able to receive you. Your company has impressed me beyond expectations.
In a world where you’re never sure who’s going to show up at your door, I was so pleasantly surprised to (1) get a call from Rocky, assuring me that they were still coming, even though they were running a bit behind because they ran into complications on the job before mine, and (2) to meet Jesse, who had already put in a ridiculously long day in I’m sure, during a heat wave, fixing other peoples air conditioners (when I’m sure all he wanted was to sit in front of an air conditioner himself and see his family), but he greeted me with upbeat energy and a top of the morning’ smile at 730pm, as we were a late add on to his schedule, but he was still willing to come out and help us. Professionalism at its finest gentleman.
With no lollygaggin, Jesse got right to work, identified the problem and explained it with ease, fixed the problem quickly with never a sign of fatigue or complaining. If he was having a long hard day, you would never know, and it was still hot and the stars were out, and he was working in the dark.
We are a home of professionals, and appreciate what we saw. In sports talk, if our house was the 9^th inning, if Jesse was the starting pitcher, he was still going strong and I’d say he threw a shut out.
I highly recommend this company. From what I saw, their employees, both over the phone, and in person, are top notch.

As a part of the recent So Cal heat wave, we were running our AC and the condensing unit decided to stop working. I called Air Force around 4pm on a Saturday and was able to set up an appointment for the following day (which in itself is unheard of) to have them come out and diagnose the problem. Rocky called me back around 6pm to confirm the appointment and said he could even come by in 15 minutes if that was ok. I took him up on his offer as it was still really warm.
Rocky was able to quickly diagnose the problem and outline the costs involved. Their prices were more than fair, did an excellent job explaining the costs and he had the parts to get the condensing unit running again in his vehicle. That in itself was priceless. Combine that with the same day service and I would not hesitate to give him a call again or recommend them to anyone. I even signed up for the annual maintenance program which checks everything out and changes the filters twice a year to make sure the system is always running in top condition and to maximize the equipment life. Because let’s face it, replacing a FAU or condensing unit is never cheap.
