paul did some of the cabinets in our kitchen a bunch of years ago before we bought our house. discovering this, we called him to help with a remodel to add more cabinets and move things around a bit but keep the same look. he was patient and detail oriented and was just a nice guy — it felt right to give him our business. it was little more than if we had gone with semi-​custom cabinets, but at the same time, he’s probably not getting rich off of us. for the amount of time it seemed that he put into the project, it was probably a steal. we also just had some odd dimensions and configurations that could not have been done with semi-​custom cabinets. he generously worked with us to figure out details several times before we cut him loose to do his thing. and when he came in for the install, he was very thorough and careful. everything lined up just right and was leveled properly. he helped with some things that were probably beyond his scope because he takes pride in his work and wants to «make it look right.» we’re very happy with everything he did and we think it looks great!
