These people are just so rude… Not accommodating at All! I attempted to walk in and of course they said they were close (no exceptions). Fine, I’m ok with that. So again, I attempted to make an appointment at 2 (they open at 10 am and close at 4pm). The girl on the phone said she was Booked all day until closing at 3pm. 3pm??? Uh they usually close at 4. She didn’t care to try to be accommodating or ask if I would like to book another time. She was just awfully non chalant! Layla is great but I thought since this place was closer I should give it a try. I’ll stick with the longer trip with Layla. Those girls do a great job anyway… This is what happens when you think the grass is greener on the other side!

My girlfriend decided to get her eyebrows threaded and went to this place. I didnt know that they would terrorize her brows. They cut her skin to a point where they scabbed the following day looking like she went 2 rounds with a cat. Thank you for the gentle touch!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Live in LA but went out to visit my sister ran some errands & asked her to take me to where she gets her eyebrows done. I’ve been growing them out for about a month due to my last threading experience anyways right when we walked in they both greeted us as soon as I sat down she asked just a clean up? I said yes & began to explain why they looked horrible, what I liked was that she began & stopped to show me if I like them like that. Out of all the places I’ve been I’ve never experienced a great customer experience like that! & of course I’m very picky & asked her to clean it up a little more she did & now I’m in love! My bf even noticed & likes them which never happens! Lol Would totally drive out every 2 weeks or so, worth it to me! Thanks!

As an ex-​sharpie style eyebrowee, I love and cherish my (now) sparse eyebrows and will only go to the best!
That being said, I’ve been coming here since they moved from Vallarta into this Plaza. Although I haven’t been here in a few months (in the process of growing out some more), I have recommended many family members and friends to Mona. She is great! Her personality is warm, and she takes her time in manicuring your brows. Always listens to what you want, shows you the end product to be sure you are happy with it, cleans off the area with rose water, and even offers to shade a bit with pencil. She consistently goes above and beyond — her level of service keeps us all coming back!
FULL DISCLOSURE **** I cannot say the same about the other women who work here and time after time mess up my mom’s brows! I care SO much that I call before I go now. Even if the other women hang up on me when I call and ask for Mona’s hours! What can I say? I only want the best.

I’m visiting my sister in Simi and realized my eyebrows are at «WOLF CAPACITY» I asked my niece about thread shops in the area and really didn’t know of any. So I went to my trusty Unilocal and low and behold I came across this nearby place at 4**** stars. I brought my niece and we were greeted by Saila. It was a nice quaint salon, quiet and clean atmosphere, I asked her to please clean me out and keep my natural arch. She took her time with me and was very polite and courteous. To say the least she did an amazing job with my eyebrows, I convinced my niece to give it a try, and she also got threaded for the first time, Saila was very patient with her and kept reassuring her she was doing good throughout the process. Overall, the next time I’m in town and need my brows done, I have my own go to spot for brows! Thank you Saila for a great job!

I’ve been here about ten times now and have always had the same girl. I never got her name, but she was young and pretty. She was solid. She took her time and her threading was consistently good.
Today, however, I had an older lady. I was there at 11 when the store was supposed to open and no one was there. I waited and the woman finally came about five minutes past. Now, there were already two people waiting after me. She asked me if I was just there to clean up my brows and I said yes. She spent no more than two minutes, rushing through the whole thing. By now, there were three people waiting after me so I think she was trying to speed up to lessen the waiting time for others. She barely flashed the mirror at me when she was done to show me and then rushed me to pay. I did and left quickly, but when I was in the car and finally able to look at myself, there was a huge gap in my right eyebrow! She ripped out more hair than intended and didn’t tell me or show me. She didn’t even try to cover it up by penciling it in, she just moved on to the next customer. One star for her! It’s her fault she opened the store late and had a line waiting.
Bottom line: only go if the younger girl is working. Avoid the older lady like the plague.

This studio is great for many reasons. It is very clean and calm. The woman who does my eyebrows is great and knows exactly what I want. She is very thorough and seems to really take her time. I feel like she tries very hard and truly wants me to be happy with the results. I appreciate this a lot considering it is my personal appearance and I am coming to them as professionals. I’ve only had to wait a couple times but I never mind because the woman are always polite and personable when I walk in the door. I highly highly recommend. If you just want a simple studio with amazing results this is definitely the place for you.

I wasn’t impressed at all. I should’ve went to Layla but I thought I’d try something new, but I definitely won’t be doing that again. The service was quick but my skin was raw below both eyebrows. Now I have to use Neosporin and hope that my skin doesn’t scab.

Very frustrated, went in today for the first time, had to wait a little which I didn’t mind, the lady started on my brows without asking what I wanted (I had been growing them out for months in hopes I could get them done thicker), and here I am again with pencil thin eyebrows, and wow was it painful, but that was expected.
The part that I am most bothered by was the checkout, she did not tell me a total (assuming I’m a regular maybe?) when I handed her a $ 20, she did the math for change on her fingers. Overall, I found her to be very unprofessional, unfortunately I don’t know her name, I will not be back.

I like this place a lot. I have had two different ladies work on my brows and they have both done a superb job. The pricing is extremely reasonable and I love that they have a customer appreciation card. I will keep coming here and definitely recommend this place.

This is the most efficient eyebrow threading studio I have ever been to. The woman had the thread in her mouth ready to go before I even sat down. She got ready so fast, she forgot to ask me what I wanted.
I thought that the outcome of my brows was pretty good. I got the slight arch that I asked for, and they didn’t come out too thin. However, the one thing that I really didn’t like was when the woman used a makeup brush to get the hair off my face. Does that brush get sanitized between each use?!
I would come back here simply because my go-​to threading salon is more than an hour away.

I was looking for a place in Simi Valley to get my eyebrows threaded and several options came up on Unilocal,including Studio iThread. I decided to try it out even though there were no reviews. I’m so glad I did! It’s a small yet classy little shop. Just two chairs but really pretty inside. The lady who did my brows was very nice and did an excellent job. It’s currently $ 9 for brows or $ 12 for brows/​upper lip. They take credit cards and have a customer loyalty card (buy a certain amount of eyebrow threadings, get one free).
After experimenting with a few other threading places in Thousand Oaks, I think I’ve found my favorite. I don’t live in Simi but I do head out there once a twice a month and when I do, I’ll definitely be back. Thank you for the great experience :)
