Absolutely disgusting! I went there two weekends ago, and when my friend and I sat down there was FECES, yes… human feces on the seat. I was mortified! It got on my hand and on my purse! I lost it. I have never been more disgusted in my life. The lady working apologized, and I told them I wanted to be reimbursed for my purse because it got ALL over the bottom of it. They took down my phone number and told me that they would follow up. A week later they call me and tell me that they looked at their cameras and couldn’t see where the feces had come from… so they couldn’t reimburse me for my purse. Excuse me? I don’t care how it got there, but it was there, you didn’t clean your establishment properly and I’m the one who paid for it. You’re going to tell me that because you didn’t see HOW it got there that you don’t have to reimburse me? Absolutely ridiculous! I will never return here and again, and would not suggest anyone go here. The customer service was terrible, especially after an awful event such as this.

We were incredibly bummed when Yogurtland closed. We’d been bringing our kids there since they were born and hadn’t found any of the alternatives particularly appetizing. I daresay Refresh has taken what Yogurtland was and kicked it up a notch! The yogurt is fantastic, but the Italian ice is even better than the sorbets that were available before. They offer coffee as well(we have yet to try it) and affogato(soft serve + espresso!), and the owners are from the local community, so we love frequenting the place to support them. Definitely stop here if you’re craving froyo or sorbet. They carry Hood Famous cheesecakes, too! If you go to other froyo shops, we simply can’t be friends. Yup, this place is that good. ;]

ROACHES! BADCUSTOMERSERVICE! NOPRODUCTEVER! I have visited here a few times because who doesn’t like frozen yogurt? The first time I came in most the machines appeared to being worked on. When I asked, they informed me they are using old machines and their parts are«constantly» breaking. This puts a rusty barely working machine in my mind pumping yogurt out? Is that healthy? Second time I came in late afternoon, the machines still seemed to be down. As I step forward in line to pay for my yogurt, the young woman ringing me up was not pleasant at all. She seemed to have a bad attitude because I interrupted her on her phone. When I asked to speak with a manager she told me she was the shift supervisor and gave me that like«what are you going to do» face. Her name is Shaina, not that they wear name tags, but stay away from that one! The last time I went in outshines the rest! I SAWROACHES in the bathroom! When I confronted a staff member about it, they told me that they’ve had the problem for a while and they have pest control around monthly because they«were here when they opened». GROSS! So please, walk the extra steps to Menchies or Molly Moons. Don’t bother with this place!

Refresh is gonna be the death of my fitness goals this month, thanks to their happy hour. $ 5 and fill it up to your heart’s desires from 3 – 6 pm, Mon-Fri until the end of November!!! I am a tart froyo type of girl, since it goes it any topping but I have sampled the pumpkin in an agfogato and the oreo froyos and found them tasty. Makes my inner fatty girl do a shoulder shimmy. Unlike other froyo spots in the city, Refresh has an interesting, yet delicious, toppings bar. You’ll find you usual strawberries, blueberries, oreos and peanut butter cups BUTALSO(and not limited to) Hood Famous Bakery’s infamous ube cheesecake bites, salted caramel bits, mangos, and green tea mochi pieces. Now, if they ever come out with a capt’n crunch froyo, I may begin calling Refresh my second home. So what are you waiting for? Get yo booty over there now!

I thought this was just bad. The fro yo was icy and grainy. The toppings were boring and the staff could care less. Wouldn’t go back.

I love supporting mom and pop businesses, especially when it’s all about supporting the local community. Refresh is a cool spot to grab a latte or froyo while hanging out with your homies. I’m a fan of the local art featured on their walls as well. There may be a dime a dozen froyo spots but Refresh is a refreshing new spot that takes a fun twist. Ask Bobby what his current favorite froyo combo is. I did and totally trust his opinion.

Friendly, chill, family owned spot. Great for students, free wifi. Fun flavors and toppings, my fave is the pistachio dulce de leche and the sea salted caramel pretzel, YUM!!! They also serve coffee, good for the colder days ahead of us. Wonderfully anticipated new addition to Cap hill!

Popped in here to check out this new froyo spot that replaced the old froyo spot and was pretty impressed. I live right by menchies and while they’re okay I always stay away from the other flavors since they tend to taste artificial or too sweet. This place had a variety of interesting flavors including crème brûlée and cherry lime sorbets for the vegans and dairy free people! I sampled the salted caramel with pretzel and then the mint chocolate chip at refresh and my mind was blown! I’m not entirely sure if this is exactly«healthy froyo» but it was sooo good. It had the perfect balance of icy and a hint of creamy texture to it. My friend said the cherry lime was really good and not too sweet. The toppings bar was neatly organized and looked fresh. We didn’t officially get something(we just ate and just wanted to check it out so we had a sample) but I’ll be back for that mint chocolate chip! Oh and they also have art work for sale on their walls too :) Another small thing… was I didn’t see a nonfat frozen yogurt or plain flavor. There were a few out of order machines so I’m wondering if that was the case?

*They have not only frozen yogurt, but also Gelato! Smooth, rich Gelato from a dispenser. *they don’t have the plain tart flavor! :( *I wish they showed the amount of calories for each flavor *.49/oz. Competitive with menchies + they have espresso *use the perka app to check in at the register. You get 1 free after 10 purchases

Awesome new spot in Capitol Hill! They have a great flavor selection and good toppings. Also having coffee is great as its right in the neighborhood. And they have a student discount :)

I’ve been so excited to finally try this place out! I love frozen yogurt and this place definitely hit the spot. My daughter and I shared some cookies n cream with some Belgian cookie yogurt. She topped everything off with sprinkles, m&m and chocolate syrup yum! Will definitely be back to try their coffee and other yummy treats!
