I love ordering though the window. Especially when it’s cold and rainy and I’m waiting for a bus, leaning over to order and waiting for the coffee to arrive while huddling next the warm espresso machine is just divine. The Vista Clara coffee they serve is pretty good, and the people working are generally nice and helpful, if not full blown adorable and friendly. It’s a little confusing that they are a separate business than the movie theater, but it also explains why their prices are so low. Though it’s only 8oz, $ 1 for a cup of good coffee in Seattle is getting to be unheard of. They are down at three stars just cause of the annoying people in line. Seattle central students who have never ordered coffee before, the usual junkies hanging out at bus stops, and the clueless public who are trying to buy movie tickets and popcorn from the baristas. If the theater is open you can walk in, just tell the ticket taker you are heading to the concession stand.
