Owner was a very nice blonde lady. She was friendly and a man didn’t seem happy with a cheapy fake mustache and she offered him tape or a refund without prompting. Lots of fun vintage-y toys and modern ones, too. Stuff for older kids and for baby. Books and educational things also. Pricey, but I guess that’s expected for a toy shop by the beach. More for novelties and special treats.

A window full of stuffed bunnies drew me in today, and I was so glad it did. Delightful mix of goodies for all ages, from stuffed seals, sharks, and octopi for babies to complex building sets and science kits for older children. Small enough not to overwhelm, big enough to find a special surprise. And yes, I bought a very sweet stuffed lamb — and machine washable. Yes!

I have walked past this little shop at least 100 times. I have glanced in but that’s it. Yesterday I was looking for a gift for a little baby boy. A future baby boy. It’s so fun to shop for babies and kids. I found the cutest shoes and socks. Perfect !! They have some classic toys and some speciality gifts for children. Adorable. If you like to day dream and go back in time this is the place. They also have cards. The free gift wrapping was much appreciated and well done with a choice of colors it’s fun to shop local and support local business. Cool ship and nice owners working. Helpful and low key.

In the land of big box stores it is so nice to see an independent toy store. They have a great selection of high quality toys and games. It is a great place for unique gifts for a child and the prices are reasonable. It reminds me of toy stores in Europe. I wish more people would support local businesses. I’ll be back for sure.

Looking for a gift for my nephew and it was close to closing time. The lady working there was more than helpful. With her expertise and patience we picked out a gift. If I lived in the area I’d look no further for my gift needs. They gift wrap for free too. Btw, my nephew loved and loves the toy I got him. I win again.

We were in Seal Beach for lunch and parked right in front of this toy store. Since we are expecting our first baby in a few weeks I had to look. I was so surprised to find all the wooden toys, art kits and books that actually teach you something. Its a great store and such a relief to know that we don’t have to shop the internet for everything we like. I’ll be back again and again. I love the cute little book I purchased and can’t wait to buy all the cool wooden trucks and potential science fair projects we saw.

Great selection and great service. I love that there is a place devoted to healthy toys for kids. I can’t stand all the look of all the plastic toys on the market and I don’t trust them to be safe to suck on(which, as we all know, is the best part of playing with them when you’re under one year). Sure, there are plastic toys smattered throughout Knock Knock, but they are hardly of the Elmo or Bratz variety. For the most part, wooden toys are the heart of Knock Knock and I am thrilled by that. The prices are totally reasonable and if you’re looking to finish your shopping up with some clothing or accessories for your little one, just stop a couple of doors down at Raspberry and Sage. Seal Beach = one stop shopping for 6 and under!

We buy most of our daughter’s toys(as well as gifts for others) here. Lisa(the owner) has a great eye for unique toys, and is very helpful. While we use Amazon Prime for most of our other household purchases, we continue to go back to Knock Knock for toys. The selection is artful and the service/attention to detail are great. This is a toy store that carries what you’d expect(most high-end brands), and consistently surprises with the unexpected(windup metal space robot replicas with sparking eyes). Knock Knock is a «real» toy store, run by someone who knows what that means.

Yay! Found masks’ here for the Friday night Unilocal masquerade ball. Cheap too! Lady(owner?) working the joint was very friendly and extreamely patient and helpful. Not a huge selection, am Unilocaling at the risk of others parading around with the same one as me lady, so sorry Farideh K.
