At Tiny ecoUrbanite we love children. We stock only the highest quality eco-​friendly products, tried and tested by us. We also educate in the things that we practice, running classes from cloth diapering to breastfeeding so that we can share what we’ve learned as well as learn from others. Our shop has a changing station and a nursing area, for you to use as and when you need it.

We are a hub for families of all kinds, bringing our community together to live organically.

Business Owner

Nikki has always been passionate about the environment. Committed to natural parenting, she strives to live a healthy and balanced life with and for her family. With Finley’s birth Nikki discovered how few organic resources were available in the Long Beach area. As soon as her daughter was old enough to walk Nikki decided to build a welcoming place for families who are interested in living green.

This store is so cute and the owner is amazing! She really cares about her customers and their children. They have many things to offer in terms of classes and products that are unique to the area. I was so surprised with the array of brands and products that are sold here; plus, she makes adorable and made clothes, bibs, and other crafted goods!

This is one of our favorite stores in LB. The selection is small but carefully chosen. There are all kinds of events going on in the back room throughout the week. Nicki makes a lot of items herself. We got a little backpack for my toddler and are always getting complimented on it.

This shop is not only inviting and peaceful, but their selection of handmade and ‘brand name’ items is amazing! Why buy the same tired brands from chains when you can get fairly priced, unique and quality items from two great moms? Do yourself a favor and buy what you need for your own kids, as a gift, or even a little something special for yourself here.

Excellent store with knowledgeable, friendly staff. My husband and I took the cloth diaper class «just to see» if we could handle it & the owner gave us the info & confidence to go for it! Now we stop in regularly just to see what nifty new things Nikki has made. She is always making adorable stuff– pacifier holders, baby shoes, bibs, kiddie purses, hair clips…

I loved this store. It’s a little gem in the heart of Long Beach, and the owner and her daughter are both amazing! She took her time and answered all of my questions (and I had a million of them, since I’m a first time mama) and she even let me breastfeed in her back room because my son was very fussy and hungry. Great store with a lot of great products and some great classes for babies of many ages :))

Loved visiting this store. I’m from Orange County, and our local diaper store decided to become a children’s boutique with no diapers, and it was the only one in OC! I am so glad to have found Tiny ecoUrbanite! Only under a half hours drive from Tustin, which was my time limit of driving. The prices ended up being even better then my former local place was. And Nikki was very nice, knowledgeable, honest, and happy to help. Look forward to coming back!

This store has fantastic stuff. When I visited, I wanted to buy everything there! I’m giving the place 3 stars though because I asked to exchange 2 pairs of swim diapers for a size up (unused, in original condition, and within 30 days), but I was told no due to my husband having taken the tags off. Their policy is that the product has to be in original packaging, with tags still attached. That’s not unreasonable at all — especially for an independent store — but I had bought the too-​small size at Nikki’s recommendation for my super-​chubby son, so I would have appreciated being able to exchange them for the correct one, even if it was an exception to the «rule.»

Hurray for more independent children’s stores in Long Beach!
This store is teeny-​tiny, but don’t let that keep you from visiting. The products that are for sale have been chosen with meticulous thought i.e., they don’t sell junk. What you will find in this store is nothing short of a eco-​conscious, natural loving, crunchy momma’s dream list of products: cloth diapers + accessories, wooden toys (the best kind), stainless steel eating accessories, natural rubber pacifiers, etc. Seriously, you can shop at this store and sleep well at night.
Nikki, the owner is a mother of a toddler and is therefore has experienced first-​hand the importance of having quality products for your child. She is incredible knowledgeable and friendly.
Also, the store has a back room that often is used for fun classes like mommy & me yoga and music classes.
What a great addition to the community this store is!

This place is so neat! Stopped in on a whim for a baby shower gift & found SO many cool things. I’m a last minute shopper and had to find the Puj tub – THEY carry it! They also carry the Amber teething necklaces. So, of course, I had to throw one in– couldn’t pass it up. They have these super neat Chewbeads in totally cute colors. I’d buy one for myself if I had someone to chew on it ;)
I know exactly where I’ll go for my next baby shower /​just because baby gift.
OH and to top it off, the owner is super friendly! She was able to answer all my silly questions– which is always a plus ;)

Shop Green! Shop Local! This new independent children’s store is located right across the street from «the Library» coffee house. The owners are super knowledgable about sustainable children’s toys and will set you up with some of the sweetest cloth diapers you have ever seen. My fave was a pale yellow pair with black retro bicycles printed all over! They have adorable gift certificates if you can’t make up your mind but for me, I’ve got my eye on a sleek (doesn’t look like a) diaper bag that I’m gonna pass off as my new messenger bag! I love this store!

After being overwhelmed with the Baby’s R Us standard, we are thrilled to discover Tiny ecoUrbanite. I don’t have kids, but I have plenty of friends that do. And since I only want the best for those I love & their little ones, this place was exactly what we were looking for! Not only do they carry natural & sustainable products, but they’re super cute & cool too!
A dia de las muertes lunch bag… too cool! Adorable & great selection of clothe diapers… awesome! They even have diaper bags that I considered getting just to carry my day to day stuff… and lunch!
As a plus, the owners are super friendly, knowledgeable & were great at answering all of our questions! They say that they’ll even be hosting classes & various events. Cool! Maybe I’ll finally learn how to change a diaper!

This place is AMAZING! Two darling owners with such a wonderful story. They’ve got a great selection of product and are extremely knowledgeable about cloth diapers and more. I went in to buy a gift for a friend who is expecting. I bought a few items and will definitely be going in here again. 5 stars all around!
