For over 55 years, Bay Hardware has served Seal Beach and the surrounding communities. This local hardware store stocks over 15,000 different items and has an extensive product selection. Recently, the store is now home to Benjamin Moore Paint, at prices that can’t be beat! Bay Hardware specializes in doors and windows, including manufacturers like Milgard, Superior, TM Cobb, Simpson and Plastpro. On-​site services include custom screens and screen repair, lock re-​keying, key cutting (including security chip car keys and car remotes), paint color matching and lamp repair.

History

Established in 1955.

Bay Hardware has been owned by three families over the past 55 years. In November 2009, the business was sold to a family from Chicago, making Bay Hardware their second store. Some things haven’t changed, like incredible and dependable customer service and knowledgeable staff. Bay Hardware has added thousands of new items since the purchase and increased inventory load, which means that our customers are able to get the help and items they need to get the job done right. Our long time cashier has come to believe «if you can’t find it at Bay, you don’t need it», although she doesn’t get to say that too often.

As part of the new ownership team, Diana moved from Chicago to Seal Beach to manage Bay Hardware. At a young age, Diana began working for her parents at their hardware store in Illinois. She remembers being ‘paid’ with Coca Cola and M&Ms. She has always been passionate about the hardware business and loves helping people find the solution to their problem. In addition to managing Bay Hardware, Diana also handles the contractor business — the door and window orders.
