I honestly haven’t had a bad experience from this location in Santee, It’s always been fast as fast food would usually be. However, if you’re expecting to get into the drive-thru, you need to enter from the main street. There’s only way way to get in and that’s from the Cuyamaca side.

Just witnessed a heavy set woman who I assume is a manager yell at an employee in a very rude tone and it was super childish and unprofessional.

The most incompetent workers are employed at this McDonald’s. I come here once or twice a week to get a salad with grilled chicken when I’m on the road and it’s a sure thing that they get the order correct only 50% of the time. I either don’t get a fork or napkin or they give me the Asian salad or Bacon salad instead of the Southwest that I order. Sometimes they add lima beans from the asian salad to my southwest salad which us incorrect. The service is slow but the workers are at least friendly. If you like gambling, come to this McDs and try out your luck. They have this new gimmick where they say they’re going to deliver your order within 60 seconds during lunch time. The joke is they start the timer from after you pay lol, not after you order. Lame.

I usually never have bad experiences at McDonald’s since I don’t frequent them that often. But one night around 1AM, the boyfriend & I were hungry so we stopped here on our way home. I asked for a plain double cheeseburger and instead I got a single cheese burger with double cheese. I can see why this seemed logical but if you work in fast food, you should know better. I honestly just found it kind of funny.

Horrible experience got home with soggy cold french fries and chicken nuggets that I was afraid to eat pretty sure they were not cooked all the way. What kind of training is the management doing in this establishment? I would be embarrassed if I was the franchisee of this location.

As a special treat for the kids tonight we choose to come here. The food quality is horrible, everything is cold and the fry containers weren’t even full. For the price of the food you would think it would be better! $ 40 later we are left with a horrible dinner. For that price we could have went to causal dining. My advice it to stay away!

This has got to the the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to, in the morning that is. I went to at 8 am and the lady at the drive thru was so rude and just unhappy it was horrible, on top of that she got my order all wrong

Go try their Build your own burger. Only three locations world wide right now and I hope it will expend. Mc Donald trying to appeal to the foodies. Its great! I love the sauted mushrooms and onions, the guacamole, jalapenos and the tortilla chips you can add to your burger. You get a choice of buns, meat… and they serve yup at the table, get your refill… its kinda surreal for McDonald and it make the experience completely different. Not a McDonald fan at all. I ended up there for their free WiFi and gave this a try. Iwent back twice since then.

I waited for over 20 mins for a shake for my kid! Others were getting theirs, but when I inquired about mine…“just a few more minutes”. My other kids were, thankfully, with my friend while I waited at the counter. When I finally got mine, no apologies, just a «here you go». NOTAGAIN!!! Plenty of other avast food places to visit in Santee!

Don’t go to McDonald’s much, but didn’t have time for breakfast. Had hot cakes and sausage. Same as I remember. Good food, good service. Everything was in the bag. Utensils, napkins, butter and syrup even though I didn’t need the butter. Drive thru was convenient.

Went through the drive thru in the morning yesterday. Was in a rush and needed to pickup breakfast before I got to work. So, I didn’t have time to check my order before I drove away. However, I made sure to specifically ask for hot sauce. Got to work and… No napkins. No hot sauce. Thanks McDonald’s for f’n up my day! I’m giving you the big one star salute!

Typically I just frequent through the drive thru here but today I decided to go inside and sit with my 3 year old son. BIGMISTAKE! 1.) it’s dirty 2.) if I wanted to hear loud yelling jerks I would have went to a sports bar 3.) the employees behind the counter are cursing and why wouldn’t they … 4.) the manager is sitting in the dinning area cursing 5.) homeless freely roaming inside 6.) young punks inside at counter throwing«gang» signs at other employees working in the back 7.) said manager watches and does nothing I really could go on and on but I’d rather get out of this place before my kid starts cursing or we got sick or better yet we get shot.

Finally a Mc Ds that can make Big Mac with quarter pounder meat and not give me a hassle or excuse that we cant do that. Thank you guys, If you have never had or want a real BIGMAC ask for it to be made with Quarter pounder meat. Its not stacked of 45guys but is definitely what a Big Mac should be.

I stopped by here for a quick breakfast on my way to Costco. I ordered the Egg McMuffin with Canadian Bacon and American Cheese combo with a golden brown hash brown and a regular cup of coffee.( ) Every thing was good and my food came nice and warm. The hash brown was crunchy, tasty, but not greasy to my surprise. The coffee to my cheer hapiness was really good. It was smooth and had a good robust coffee flavor. The service was nice. The girl who took my order was polite and in a good mood. This particular location has been recently remodeled. It has a cool contemporary feel.

They are getting better. Same greasy food, new updated look. This location recently went through renovations, and it looks a lot better. They even have an automatic sliding door for all of their wheelchaired patrons. They split the drive-thru into two lines, so that the ordering process goes a lot faster. This place is getting faster, and the service is slowly getting better. And for all you catholics, try their fish fillets for fridays of lent. =]

This place had been undergoing renovations for quite a long time — so when it looked like everything was finally finished, I came in to check it out. WOW. Talk about an upgrade. The interiors look straight out of a contemporary interior design magazine. I like saying«They’ve ikeafied it!» because that certainly is what it seems like. Please see my photos for reference. And the menu board looks like it underwent a few changes of its own. Highlighted are their premium menu items, like their angus beef burgers and salads. The dollar menu? It’s right there at the far right bottom corner. If this is McDonald’s way of making people eat«healthier», then kudos to them for making such an effort. But it’s still fastfood, and it’s still pretty bad for you. Oh wells. ETA: Store layout is a bit of an accident waiting to happen — parking is weird, and dine-in customers have to walk in front of cars coming out of the drive-through as the main entrance is at the very front, facing the street. There are no «Entrance» or «Slow, watch for pedestrians» signs as far as I can remember.

Came here to try their new Strawberry Lemonade slushie since the McDonalds in walmart didn’t have it. The entrance is weirdly not facing where the parking is. Came in, pretty small. There was an argument with a customer and worker in front of us. I don’t think she handled it really well. When it was our turn, we ordered and she asked what size we wanted and we asked what size they had and she seemed confused and then her co-worker rudely said«small, medium and large… you should know this» The literally just blended up some ice and added some artificial flavoring… the drink itself was nice and refreshing and I like the tartness of the strawberry lemonade but I think I might just go to sonics next time for happy hour. The bad vibe you get in this McDonalds is enough for you not to come back.
