Great Clips

I like coming here because it’s fast and unpretentious and they don’t try to up sell you to death on hair product. (I buy all mine at Ulta, and I don’t need any ever because I’m a product addict, just FYI.) Today Chanel cut my hair and she did a fabulous job. She listened to me and understood what I wanted. She also didn’t chastise me for abusing my hair with a flat iron. And the price is right, $ 25 out the door for cut, shampoo and tip.

I have taken my son here many times over the past year and a half (mainly because my husband bought one of the cards that keep the price at $ 9.99). I just ask for a little boy’s haircut and it never turns out the same despite the notes from previous visits. I actually took my son back twice to have his hair fixed. Usually the bangs are messed up or there are random patches of untrimmed hair. The only stylist I liked was Deziree. She was great. After my son’s last botched haircut (resulting in me shaving his head at home), we will not be returning.

The ladies here are super nice and the candy cup at the register is always well stocked. I love that you can check the wait times online and check in online so you can be seen first when you arrive.
The days and times your favorite stylist are in always change so if you can, call ahead to check if they’re in but you’re in good hands no matter who you go to.

I brought my kids in for haircuts tonight and two out of three were done right. My son had a great hair stylist Letty. She was super fantastic with my four year old who is very ticklish. She was patient and very sweet. My daughter Kali also had a great stylist, she listened to my request and pulled it off without a hitch. My oldest daughter however ended up with a botched job. I specified from the beginning I didn’t want it too short. I pointed three inches below the shoulder at what the length should’ve been. Instead we got three above the shoulder. I am livid!!! My daughter is upset. She even admitted she as wrong and said it was free. Letty tried everything to make us feel better but the damage is done. We can’t glue the hair back. My advise to anyone who goes here steer clear of Julie’s chair. She does not follow direction, she just does what she wants. I truly don’t understand how she even has a job there. Zero stars for her but 4 stars for the other two who actually listened and did a great job.

On a whim I went into Great Clips one day because a haircut was only $ 9.99. Fortunately for me I found Desiree. I told her what I wanted and that is exactly what I got. My prior hair stylist had begun cutting my hair as she thought it should be. I have been to Desiree 4 times and always been happy. She gives you a long shampoo with a great head massage too.

THIS IS THE WORST HAIRCUT I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! MY DAUGHTERS HAIR LOOKS HORRID!!!
The fact that the state gave this person a license is a JOKE! I will be calling state board and making a formal complaint.
IF your looking for a GREAT haircut do not go to the chick with the black hair at this great clips!!!
TO THE OWNER/​MANAGER THERE is nothing you could possibly fix on this haircut! Not that I would let that untrained idiot near my kid again!!! You need to train your stylists better or get rid of them.

Great place. Reasonable prices, and they do a great job.
