Convenient location! First time here and Jennifer made me feel very comfortable. Wanted a good haircut and got one !

Steven was great! He entertained our party for hours literally hours while we ate, drank and watched the game. The food was okay-​ordered the spinach dip note to everyone– it has mushrooms. Which isn’t listed on the HH menu. But I love mushrooms, my boyfriend however, does not. Also– the deserts are amazing.

I love this place! My hairstylist is amazing! She colors and cuts my hair. It always looks perfect! She listens to my requests and makes my hair look better then I ever imagined. I searched for a long time to find the right hair dresser. She is the best.
Parking is easy and the prices are reasonable.

New to California, finding a new stylist that «gets» what I want has been rough. I’m so happy to have found Jenniffer! She listens, is great to talk to & most important, she’s really good! Love the way my hair looks again! happy, happy, happy!

I love this Salon! I have gone to Kelly P for over 10 years without ever leaving disappointed, she has done mine and my sister’s wedding along with other special events. The salon is very cute, clean and friendly! (Not to mention the coffee, pastries and candy that is available :)) I have also been getting my nails and toes done by Sarah for over five years and would never dream of going to anyone else!
I highly recommend going to this salon!

Big Gossip salon about customer. I will never go back again. Not a relaxing salon and décor is dated. Needs a facelift!!!

My third trim with Kelly McManus and as usual VERY HAPPY! She listens and has dealt with all of my hair issues with a smile. Affordable too! I am so lucky to have found her!!!

Figure I’d take the time while I’m in the dryer to write this review :) My experience so far has been amazing. I found this place & the stylist Kelly P. on Unilocal.I saw great reviews about her & I thought I’d make my appointment & do something different then what I’ve had for the last 8years. I finally got bangs & they came out exactly how I envisioned it. LOVE them. I will definitely be a recurring client with Kelly. She totally listens to what you want & makes you feel totally confident in your decision. The vibe is great, everyone has been so friendly. I’ll definitely make sure to recommend this place to my friends & family. Thanks Kelly!

I have been going to Jamie so several years. Getting your hair done by someone new can be scary but I promise you will love what Jamie does for you! I think it is important that you like the style of the person who gives you «style». Jamie is so cool and always looks so cute! I have always been happy with how she does my hair and will go to her forever if I can! She also did hair for my wedding and everyone looked amazing!

Kelly P is the greatest hair stylist in the world. Simply put you will never have a bad hair cut again with her. She is incredibly talented and an amazing person.

So, I am in the market for a new hair salon/​stylist. After doing some research, and reading all the positive reviews, I called C’est La Vie and left a message… two weeks ago. I have since called on multiple occasions. No one has ever answered the telephone. No one ever returned my call. They say the hardest part of running a business is attracting new customers. Well, they just lost one they wouldn’t have had to spend a dime on to attract.

I’ve been going to Jennifer for 8 years and I’ve never been disappointed! She leaves me feeling refreshed and I never have to tell her what do with my hair because she just knows! I will never leave Jennifer (I followed her to C’est La Vie) and will go where she goes! :-)

I decided to give this place a shot and was disappointed with the first impression the salon left me. The stylist I made my appointment with was late with no reason or apology. Once in the chair I felt like I was being assembly lined out.

Sorry to be the first to write a «non 5 stars review». I had an important event for my work, and wanted to have an up-​do. I didn’t bring a picture with me but i had an idea on what i wanted and i brought a small pic on my phone. Basically, I just wanted a side up-​do. It took her like 20 minutes, she put some bobby pins behind my head and then curl the rest of my hair. I wasn’t a fan of how the hair were on the front but i kinda warmed up to it after i played with it later on at home. I paid $ 40 and be warned she doesn’t take credit card, even if on the store window, there is a mastercard/​visa logo. Well, two hours later, my hair up do was already falling apart!!! All the bobby pins were on the floor, I was very disappointed.

I’ve been going here for about 3 years now and love it. Jennifer is awesome and always has me leave feeling thrilled with my hair. I have several friends that come here and they are always happy as well. 5 stars!!!

I went to this place after reading reviews and must say that Jenne did a great job on my color. I’m not use to the salon thing and went there to check it out before making my appointment. Jenne took the time to consider my skin tone and eye color to find a new hair color that would look amazing and she did a wonderful job! The place is very nice and out of the way. Everyone seems very friendly and while I was there I saw all ages from starting kindergarten to the elderly and both men and women! Highly recommend this and I’ll finally have someone I go back to each time I need something done.

I love C’est LA VIE! Such a hip, fun and classy salon, a rare find in East County, a true gem. All the girls are great. Most of the girls have styled my hair for events at some time or another, especially Kelly Patterson and Jamie. Sarah does my nails and toes. I love the shellac gel for my nails, lasts so much longer than a regular manicure and is so cute and classy! And I cant forget about my glitter toes — so much fun!

I love this salon! I have been having Layne do my hair for the last 10 years. She is pretty amazing. It’s nice that they offer a coffee or tea while you are enjoying some time for yourself. If you are looking for a clean, cozy and comfortable salon. look no further, ask for Layne!!!

Sarah is extremely sweet and did a terrific job on my nails with the OPI gel polish! They lasted for weeks (which was important since I was getting married and needed them to look tip-​top!). Would love to try her adorable glitter toes that my friend Kari is always sporting. So cute (and I wouldn’t necessarily think of myself as a «glitter toe» kind of gal if you get my drift).
Very convenient if you are in east county. Small but stylish space. Sarah is also extremely well priced. All around win!

I wanted to add that Sarah still rocks with the glitter toes, but now she is also using the gel polish for natural nails. It last almost two weeks and it doesn’t damage your nails. I used it when I had to go out of town for a wedding and it was perfect!
