For nearly a century the name Stornetta has been synonymous with high quality products and services in the North Bay. We are proud to say that Stornetta’s Sheer Elegance Limousine Service is no exceptition to that highly valued tradition. We are a locally owned and operated business located in Santa Rosa. We are fully insured and licensed by the California Public Utilities Commission (TCP 27 988-​B) and the California Department of Motor Vehicles.

Mike Stornetta, Sr. is proud to have been a Sonoma county resident his entire life. In fact, the Stornetta family settled in wine country over 100 years ago, long before the wine arrived! There is a tradition of excellence in the Stornetta family, and Mike is no exception. His background was in customer service with Pac Bell, and later he ran a successful real estate and mortgage company. Mike’s passion for transportation came later in life. He loves people and according to Mike, «This is the best business move I’ve ever made. I love knowing my clients are having a great time! It makes me feel good to be providing a service that people really enjoy.» Mike is particular and makes sure that all the details are handled. He relishes the idea of giving his clients an excellent, personalized experience. Candy, themed decorations and champagne are a few of the touches. You can expect the best from a man that genuinely cares about providing you with the best experience possible.

Mike was so incredibly kind and friendly! The stretch Lincoln Navigator was beautiful and clean. We toured a winery located off a one lane road along a mountainside. Mike drove very carefully and made us feel very safe. Would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for limo services.

I used stornetta as my limo provider for my wedding, I don’t think there is anything negative to say about this company. They are very attentive, patient and caring toward there customers. The driver was amazing! dealing with stressed out bride and bridesmaids and just being an awesome driver. Would highly recommend this company for any limo services needed.

My wife and I visit Sonoma every couple years for our anniversary. Historically we’ve used another limo company which has done a decent job, but they’ve increased their prices and last year they pawned us off on another company (at the last minute) and so I shopped around. Enter Stornetta’s.
I initially spoke with Mike on the phone to get a quote; he was extremely helpful — both with simply giving me an estimate and also with advice/​input (which I asked for) on where we might visit. (We had a few places in mind, but I was looking for new wineries we hadn’t been to before.) Based on my conversation with him, we booked. I was a bit nervous as we hadn’t used Stornetta’s before, but hey — at some point you need to take a chance, right?
The day of our tour Mike showed up (about 5 – 10 minutes early; which was nice so I could stop worrying ;)) and well… everything was perfect. The limo was fantastic — impeccably cleaned, chilled bottle of champagne waiting for us, and plenty of water (which Mike continued to replace as we kept going through the bottles). And… jelly beans! Yes… a stupidity, but a nice extra touch (and with my sweet tooth, very welcome).
Mike was fantastic all day — very helpful, willing to put up with our ongoing questions (what about this place, what about that place?), last minute changes (wait wait — we want to try winery x), odd requests (can we stop for cupcakes), etc. He was always a step ahead — opening the doors just as we’d come out of a tasting room, asking about lunch a split second before I mentioned it, the aforementioned refilling water. And all of his recommendations (wineries, routes, restaurants) were spot on.
We will absolutely use Stornetta’s again, and can confidently recommend it to anyone needing limo service in/​around Sonoma.

We booked the 8 person stretch limo for my husband’s 40th birthday (5.5hr booking). I was incredibly pleased with the quality of the car and the service we received.
Here is what I liked:
— iPhone hookup for music
— they lightly decorated the limo with a birthday theme
— our driver Doug was super nice and polite
— showed up on time
— flexible with start and end times
— the owner Mike was really sweet and helpful on the phone. He was the primary reason we ended up booking with them
— price was competitive. I got quotes from 5 – 6 places.
— I have a very bad back and our driver took extra care to make sure I was okay getting in and out of the car

We had our first girls getaway in wine country last year and had the pleasure of having Mike as our driver for 3 days (initially we had only booked for 2 but he was so great we extended to 3!!). The 5 of us were all visiting from different parts of the country and didn’t have a concrete plan for wineries/​regions to visit each day. Mike basically served as a guide and and a driver for those days. He gave us a suggested schedule, would drop us off at a winery, pick up our lunch, pick us up, etc etc. He made our wine tasting experience so relaxing and enjoyable!
On a personal note, Mike is just a really nice and fun guy. He handled the 5 of us with humor and patience!
We loved him so much that we have contacted him to hopefully use him again THIS YEAR for our 2nd girls trip to Sonoma!
You won’t regret using this company. Ask for Mike! :)

Booked with Stornetta’s for Barrel Tasting and they did not disappoint! From the first point of contact, my expectations were exceeded. Mike asked if we were celebrating a special event because he tends to decorate the limo based on the event, which I thought was so thoughtful. I love when people go the extra step like that. We were a group of 12 and used the Lincoln Stretch — nicely decorated and the perfect size for us! Limo arrived 10 mins before start time, and inside came with water bottles, champagne, & jelly beans! Manny was our driver and was extremely knowledgable about the area, got us from point A to point B flawlessly, and was overall a great host/​driver to the group. Not to mention the price per hour was the best I could find around. Would recommend Stornetta’s to anyone in the North Bay Area for all types of events!

Lately I have been disappointed in limo companies, so it has been over a year that I would get into a limo because they have old limousines that smell and feel old. We know that part of the fun of going into a limousine is the ambiance created for the evening or event your about to experience so using a very nice company is a no brainer. I HIGHLY recommend them for those folks who are looking to add a taste of elegance for their respective event.

I found this service on the internet. When I called I spoke to the owner Mike. He was very accommodating set a very very reasonable price to take myself and for friends to a wedding in Piedmont it just happened to be on 4⁄20 which was also Easter. He didn’t not charge extra for it Being a holiday. We all got picked up at our houses which to my surprise some of the other limousine companies charge extra for each house that they stop at to pick up passengers. The limousine was clean in very good condition and decorated nicely. We had Mike the owner as our driver he arrived on time was personable, easy going yet professional. There was a chilled bottle of champagne waiting for us. He opens the bottle and pours everyone a glass as we sit back and enjoy the ride I still don’t know where Piedmont is because I was not paying attention to anything except for the relaxed enjoyable time. Thanks Mike!

If you need a limousine for any reason in Sonoma County use this company! A friend of mine recommended them and I now know why! I was planning a bachelorette winery tour and Mike went the extra mile to recommend wineries and decorate the limo. To top it off he had flowers, jelly beans and champagne to indulge in! The bride was super impressed and everyone had a wonderful time. Mike is someone who knows the area and is a very gracious and considerate driver. Thank you so much for taking care of us! Oh, I should mention, the price is great! I called several other companies and they just didn’t compare for the service and hours Mike included.

In my experience most limo rides have been the same. I have always encountered courteous, safe drivers and clean, fun vehicles.
Stornetta’s offers all that you would want and expect, then goes above and beyond to personalize your experience.
After coming highly recommended, my friend and I booked Stornetta’s to get to and from Oakland International for a week of Giant’s Spring training baseball.
–The drivers on both legs were great, fun, conversive if you wanted them to be, but didn’t try to butt into your conversation.
–We experienced both their limousine and Escalade without any gripes. Our trips included your typical drinks and snacks, but with the addition of black and orange napkins and the Giant’s World Series DVD playing. Just read my other reviews and you will find how much I appreciate the little things. My recommending friend raved about the personalization they got for a milestone birthday night out as well.
Overall, I couldn’t say a bad thing about these guys if I wanted to.
